He arrived when he said he would. He looked at the electrical panel and determined that it was something he wouldn't be able to work on it. He then determined that part of the problem with my water heater was that the power going to the plug was too high for the water heater. He rewired the plug on the water heater and the outlet. The water heater still did not work but he was able to determine that the heat element needed to be replaced. (I had a plumber replace it.) What he did very well and was very friendly and professional.

Dave did an awesome job for a very fair price. His attention to detail makes all the difference in the world. I would highly recommend him.

He was pleasant enough to talk to, but never showed up and have not heard from him since. I have emailed and called him several times, said he was busy and would come out on Friday. i took off work and never showed up.

When I reached Dave, by cell phone, he agreed to come out the same day, although his schedule was full. He arrive more than an hour late but he called me several times to let me know his estimated arrival time. (I joked with him that he needs to advertise that he works evening hours so that working women like me can get a handyman to come over for small repairs without taking off work!) He replaced the bulb easily and even rewired the switch to make it easier to use. While he was in my home, I showed him several other projects I'd like to have done, eventually, and he had some good ideas about them, including some suggestions on how to save money on them. He offered to use up some of his back stock of lumber and wood stain on one project so it will cost me less! Overall, he seems like an honest and ethical guy. I will definitely use him again.

Dave came for an estimate and scope of the job first. Then he talked with my husband who was on travel to determine just what we wanted and needed done. I appreciated that he clarified what we actually needed, since what we thought we wanted was more than we needed. Dave came with a helper and did the job in about 5 hours. Wires had to be run from the breaker box and up into the attic. Then an electrical socket was placed behind where the Tv's were to be hung. The wires had to be dropped down the walls. He checked out dropping a wire down an inside wall for another purpose, but that wall had too much insulation to be feasible to do. The job was done well and looks good. The price was very reasonable.

We called Dave because we had a plumbing issue with in a rental we owned in another city. He was very busy, but when he found out it was just a minor repair, he worked us into his schedule that day and repaired the toilet.

Dave has been helping me as much as possible with his time constraints.He is always great and he's the family's favorite repair man.He is also very good with low prices.As always you are the best.Dave

Dave gave me an estimate for minor home repairs I wanted done. I paid him $150 for the work according to his estimate. After the work was done, he came up with a new price-another $150. I have asked him in numerous emails to explain where the additional $150 charge comes from, but he has not done so. I have already paid hime $150 for the minor home repairs that he did (see above), and I am not paying him anymore. It has been months since I have heard from Dave, so I was not going to pursue this Angie's List Complaint but 2 days ago he email me asking for additional payment, so I am requesting help from Angie's List to resolve this issue once and for all.

Nice guy, skilled handyman. Very busy and sometimes has emergency work which may lead him to reschedule. If you are patient you will get excellent work at a fair price. It is worth being patient with him.

Dave is great. He's punctual; listens clearly to what the problem is; suggests less expensive solutions when available; completes the work in a thorough manner, and cleans up afterwards. And he's very friendly. We have used him 3 times now, and he is worth a lot more than he charges. In one case for a lighting issue, when he saw the problem, he suggested how we could do it ourselves -- and didn't charge for the advice. He's always going to be the #1 person I call.

A tenant of mine called very frustrated because the overhead fan in his bedroom kept turning on and off all night preventing him from sleeping. I called Dave on a Friday at 2pm asking if he could get there that day to fix it. He said he was booked but would come around 7pm (on a Friday!). He just asked for my tenant's number. They arranged everything. Then they set another date the next week when he could come back and fix another fan. I didn't hear from Dave until both jobs were done and he was ready to get paid. Painless!

Dave was here the same day I called him which I appreciated. He gave me pricing on his services once I showed him the electrical needs we had and was honest about his ability to perform the services we needed. When I called him back to do the service work, he showed up at scheduled time and worked quickly and efficiently. The only downside is that he didn't offer invoicing due to the small job we required which would have been a little more convenient. Dave was personable and professional. I would definitely call him back again for service requests.

He is on Angie's List. I provided the material and he helped with the labor. He is knowledgeable, easy to get along with, shows up when he says he will, has a good supply of tools, and is very capable.

I found him on Angie's List and he had a whole lot of good comments on his page. He was pretty good. He was reasonable. He had to go and get some parts that I paid for. He kind of forgot when he was supposed to come one time and I had to call and remind him, and then we had to wait because he had something else going on but it wasn't that bad. I have told him that I would be calling him back for some other work.

Dave is a honest guy. He tells you what he can do and what he cannot do at front. He replaced two sink faucets for us and we are very happy with the result. He also replaced our closet door. We are very happy with the work, too. Dave is very easy to work with. The quality of his work is excellent. His price is very reasonable.

I had a new set of florescent bulbs and a ballast to go with them but the light wouldn't work. Dave decided my problem was that the salesperson sold me the wrong ballast for my bulbs and light assembly. He carefully researched my situation and used an extra light assembly to give me the light I needed. He also gathered all the information available to take to the ballast vendor and advised me as to how I should handle my situation. He dropped by to help in the evening on his way to his welding class. He is a good guy.

We had lost power to half our garage outlets. Reached Dave by phone on first try. He agreed to come by the house at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, but did not show. I left him a message, which he returned at 7:30 p.m. and said rain had kept him from coming and his cell phone battery had died, and that is why he could not call me immediately. He agreed to come Saturday morning, which he did. He found that one of two feed wires was not functional between the house and the garage, most likely due to a short underground between the house and garage. There was space in the breaker box to move the few connections from one side of the box to the other without compromising safety, so he did that. When he finished, we had power to all lights/outlets in the garage. It took a few hours to diagnose the shorted wire and less than 30 minutes to make the repair/fix. He did inform me that should I want to put large utilities like refrigerator, washer/dryer in the barn, the faulty wire would need to be replaced so that the whole box could be utilized.

He was absolutely wonderful. He did all the work at a very minimul cost plus even did some additional work at no extra cahrge.
