Nothing got done. Had to find another person to do work. Other contractor came in and installed new vanity in bathroom.

Mr. Forrestal came to my home, did what he said he could do, and finished the installation in a reasonable amount of time. He was expedient, professional and finished the installation. I plan to ask Mr. Forrestal to do some more projects on my home in the future.

Our immediate issue, with warmer weather on the way, was getting the ceiling fan on our back porch repaired. We had bought a new one for David to install, but we'd also (at his request) gotten the parts needed to fix the motor. We didn't hold out much hope of the motor working again. The fan is probably 25 years old. However, David was able to fix it and we were able to return a $100 fan. He also fixed the light in the my husband's closet and was kind enough to climb up and replace the bulbs in the motion detector fixture for our driveway area. My husband and I are compiling a list of things that we still need to have done around here, and David is the man we will call.

Dave has been wonderful to work with. He makes time for his clients and is dependable. He comes through on last-minute jobs. His prices are probably too low for the high quality of his work. He is a really nice guy and if you'd like, he will explain everything he does for your house and gives advice when asked about how to do things yourself. I could not recommend him highly enough!

Mr. Forrestel was extremely nice to work with. Upon hearing that I'd like the lighting in a 1/2 bath replaced before my elderly father-in-law arrived to visit, he made time in his schedule to come to my house the same day. While at my house, I talked with him about changing out a pedestal sink in that bathroom, and he gave me lots of thoughtful advice. He later came out and changed the sink and I am so pleased with the advice because the sink/vanity fit nicely in that room. I recommend him as an honest businessman as well who charges reasonable prices.

Dave was able to look carefully at the things I was uncertain about and give me some idea of how much it would cost to repair some small defects. As no bank was involved, I didn't need a licensed building inspector . . . those guys generally look for specific mandated problems and often skip things that aren't on the list. I think Dave did a pretty good job of going over the possible problems with the house. In this case, he convinced me that the defects were minor and manageable, and I bought the house. I may employ his services in the future to repair some small problems.

I saw positive ratings for Dave Forrestel on Angie's List and selected him for some minor electrical repair needs. He was very responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and timely. He's a great guy and really took the time to research the problem and find a cost-effective solution. I wish all service providers were as professional and friendly. Can't go wrong with Dave.

I was extremely happy to find Dave through Angie's List. My wife and I own a townhouse in Gainesville but live in Boca Raton. The tenants needed repairs on two separate ocassions. Dave showed up on time and completed the work within a very reasonable time frame. He prepared a reasonable estimate, completed the work and we were very, very satisfied. We had a spot around a ceiling fan that looked like a potential roof leak. Dave responded promptly to all phone calls and texts. He determined that it was nothing more than condensation from our crawl space gathering around the base of the fan, cleaned it up and told us how to keep it from happening in the future. Since it was such a small job, he only charged us $20. We were more than happy to pay for the peace of mind. Will definitely use Dave in the future!

This is the second time I've used Dave's services. He is on time, a pleasure to work with and quite affordable. The screens on our florida room are quite old and require removal of wood trim to reattach. Dave had it all straightened out fairly quickly, and for a price that didn't break the bank.

Dave promptly returned calls, was professional, more than reasonable with pricing, and provided detailed explanations about the work he was about to do. He offered alternatives to certain tasks, and declined to work on tasks that he felt he wasn't qualified to handle. He also provided the names of other professionals who could better handle the jobs for which he was not comfortable tackling.

We call him a lot; he's been on the property for various things over the last several months.He is very caring and very responsive; he will really think of a way to make it work out to the most effective way. And with electrical work he is also very conscious about the code and keeping it safe.

The installation was completed while I was away. He checked back to ensure that everything had gone smoothly and it did. He was careful doing the installation and during the estimation phase explained thoroughly everything he was doing.
