Budget Blinds of Gainesville

The owner arrived on time, measured my windows and offered me free installation. Seemed like a good enough deal. A few months after installation, I needed 2 blinds for my garage and went to Home Depot . . . the Home Depot blinds were very similar in quality and appearance to the blinds I purchased from Budget Blinds, but were 1/2 the price. Of course, we had to install the blinds ourselves, but that was very simple. My source of unhappiness, however, is that I was not pleased with the way one of the blinds (I purchased from Budget Blinds) fit the window. Even their installer agreed that the gaps on the sides were too wide and said that I should call the Owner, which I did. The Owner said that if I didn't like the fit, I'd have to pay for a new blind and wouldn't even agree to come out to look at it. He measured the window, not me. I wasn't pleased with his attitude and feel that he should have made an effort to make me happy especially since my total order was $1,000.00. Plus, now I get a chance to tell everyone that the Owner of Budget Blinds in Gainesville, Fl didn't care about customer service.

Bruce helped me pick attractive, lasting, economical shades and blinds that have lasted for years. One had a problem a few years later and he replaced it without cost. I have called the company again for black-out shades for the door in my master bedroom. He matched the other shades beautifully.

The shutters are of great quality, clean and have exceeded our expectations. We are so happy that we purchased our shutters from Budget Blinds of Gainesville. They were prompt and professional regarding installation. Highly recommend using them for any window treatments and we will use them in the future if needed.

We thought it was reasonable at the time; that is why we went with it. I definitely give them an A. We have always been happy and we've been very happy with the product. They were quick, reasonable and the shutters work. In fact we may windup getting some more shutters eventually for our replacement windows that we have here in the back.

We have used them a couple of times. The first time was 4-5 years ago. They are great and we have referred them. They are a nice company. I think they have done most of the rooms in this house over time.

Desiree came to the house to measure the sliding glass door and discuss our needs for blinds. She was very knowledgeable and professional, and a good communicator. I was confident that the blinds we ordered would be just right. And they were. The blinds were ready ahead of time and installed perfectly in less than 30 minutes. A call to the owner regarding a question was handled in a friendly and professional manner. The name Budget Blinds may imply to some people a "lesser" quality or service but that is absolutely not the case. I highly recommend them.

Each worker arrived on time and with plenty of notice. The work itself seemed to take less time than we expected. Prices were reasonable.

All of the materials are top quality. We can tell they will hold up well. The many options for window treatments were carefully explained during the first visit, and there was no pressure to make a choice we did not want to make. The Budget Blinds sales person was careful to explain the different installations that were available for our window sizes, locations, and trim. The installer was very professional, and he also demonstrated some details after installation. We are very pleased!

They were really good with the communication like with the ordering process. They treated me good. They were okay.

They did a good job. We had a handle break on one of the blinds and it is just a cheap plastic part that I am sure they can replace. I called customer service and they just replaced it, but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't. My wife paid for them so I don't have any idea on the price. She usually does her research so they are probably good.

They were professional, prompt, good communication, accurate estimate, and a good product. Very happy we spent the money to get good quality, light blocking blinds that should last a long time.

The salesman/owner of the company came out and gave me a detailed quote after carefully measuring both windows. He made recommendations and listened to what I wanted. I chose to do only the bottom half of the windows and he agreed that it would like nice, instead of trying to up-sell me. He left me a written estimate, instead of me having to wait to receive it later. The company called to arrange the install. 2 workman showed up on time, got the job done quickly and efficiently. They left me touch up pain, asked if I was happy with the product, gave me easy how-to-use instructions and what to do if I had any problems or concerns. What I liked best about this experience was that the installers seemed extremely knowledgeable about the product and took pride in assembling the blinds. Steve said, "you're really going to love these blinds." They are going to look great." I highly recommend this company, I will use them again in the future.
