Description of Work: I had used Budget Blinds years ago to do two bay windows in plantation shutters. In 2013 I decided to do the rest of the house in plantation shutters. Bruce was wonderful. He had the information from a few years back. He showed up and had everything ready for us to go through. His installer was awesome as well. I am very pleased with the services of Budget Blinds. I would definitely say the value is very good. I highly recommend Budget Blinds.

Description of Work: 1st, the owner came over & showed us several different options & was very patient as we went through our decision making process. We chose to replace our old window coverings (draperies, fabric vertical blinds) on 4 large windows across the front of our home with 4" shutters. They framed them on the inside for a very nice finished look. We've received many compliments from neighbors & guests and we're very pleased with the product & installation.

Description of Work: I took their suggestion on the type of blinds. And the color and texture of the shade-type blinds. Life time guarantee was a big plus. These blinds do block cold and heat. I even ordered their plantation blinds... love them. I would consult with them for future window treatments.

Description of Work: When we purchased the blinds we were told we had a life-time warranty. When the cord broke on one of our blinds they came out but we had to purchase new blinds instead of getting a replacement. I don't feel we were told the entire truth of the life-time warranty.

We regret that there was a misunderstanding with our customer regarding warranty protocol. The original order date was 2005 for this customer. They contacted us in 2012 with a concern regarding the strings having broken on 2 of the 7 custom faux wood blinds they initially purchased. The warranty of this product was indeed a lifetime warranty on the headrail as well as any manufacturing issues, however that did not apply to broken strings. We only billed the customer for our cost and did not charge for the installation for the two blinds to be re-made and reinstalled.
