Murrell Inc Appliance Service

I placed a call to Murrell on Sunday night and they called me back at 8AM Monday morning. They scheduled the repair for that afternoon. The part that needed to be replaced was on factory back-order but the tech had one in his truck. He had been driving it around for 8 years!! Frige fixed. Good folks to work with...I will definitely use them again.

Unit wasn't making ice. Murrell rep. came and replaced the icemaker unit on 10 yr.old machine.I was worried that I might need t purchase a new icemaker/fridge. The repair cost under $500. A new unit would have cost over $1,000 and the rep. said the unit didn't need replacement. The reason I used Murrell is because I had an identical unit on a boat I owned a number of years ago.and they fixed that one. Murrell is not cheap, typical marine products pricing, but they respond very quickly to a phone call and do the repairs on-site in a very professoional manner. You can always depend on them sending an expert who knows the product and has the parts to do the repair.

They came out immediately and fixed the dryer door. They were very professional and helpful.

Our Thermador dual fuel gas range with electric convection oven is about five years old. After always holding the temperature in the oven rock steady it suddenly began "hunting" for the correct temp. If it was set at 350 it might drop to 200 come on and turn off at 425... Needless to say it was not easy to cook in the oven. I called the place where we bought more than $25K worth of kitchen appliances and they told me that this was a "special" commercial grade oven and needed a specialized repair person and that they could send him in about ten days and (incidentally) the diagnostic would be a $300 minimum .... So I called Murrell's after getting their name from Angie's List. They were very helpful on the phone and when I described the problem, Tim told me it could be one of three things and depending on which item was the problem may be cost up to $400 to repair. Their repairman showed up on time was very professional and was very careful to protect the surrounding cabinets and countertops (including putting a pad on my wife's granite counter tops!). He isolated the problem in a logical way (I am an electrical engineer so I in theory) and was very quick in determining which parts we needed. The next morning my wife got a call with an quote for the replacement logic board and the installation. 72 hours later it was fixed. The original Company quoted me $750 just for the logic board. Murrell's parts and labor were less than $450. I will never call anyone else!!

They are awesome. They’re honest, reasonably priced , friendly and offer same day service. I would give them A+.

They are great with the whole transaction! From Mary who answers the phone to the technicians who make sure you really need them before they come to your home. The prices are fair and they are very conscientious.

Originally called LG and the two companies they recommended had C Angie's List ratings. I called Murrell. They said they normally didn't work on LG due to availability of parts. I explained what I needed and they said they would check on parts and let me know. Called back a short time later with estimate and made and appointment for the following day, They arrived on time and made repair at estimated price. Very happy with service will definitely use them again

He arrived on-time, explained what he was going to do, and did what he said he would do. You can't ask for more than that.

Excellent. Later they came and picked up a wine refridgerator that they normally don't service. They took it to their shop to see if they can repair it. Fast response time, comprehensive evaluation of all appliances and easy to understand explanation of problems. They are great.

They bent over backwards to do a swell job.

This is the second time in three months the unit slipped out of position, causing the door to rub or stick when opened. (The first problem was fixed by the work done at the first service call. The second call was required for a similar problem but not because the first work was not done properly.) Mary, the person who answers the phone, is an absolute gem. She should be operating a school to teach employees of other businesses how to answer the phone, to deal with customers, to project a positive attitude, and to apply intelligence and common sense. The same technician came both times. This was very constructive, because on his second trip, he clearly remembered what he had done on the previous visit, and this helped him diagnose the problem. The technician, whose name I shamefully admit to not knowing, is polite, intelligent, and more than competent. Although he never stops working, he explains everything he is doing and why he is doing it. Absolutely first rate in all respects. I don't think you will find better people anywhere.

We transported the wine refrigerator ourselves to their workplace. They assessed the malfunction and gave us a reliable estimate. The unit was repaired by the date promised. We were very happy with our experience.

Probable diagnosis was made over phone (correctly) and part was ordered and installed within a couple of days. Since SubZero is almost 25 years old, I was expecting the worst. I was thrilled that only the fan had to be replaced. The honesty and integrity of this company is beyond reproach. I will use them for ALL my major applicance repairs. A real pleasure to deal with!!

It was verbally diagnosed as being the control board and the part was on the truck for the afternoon appt. It was repaired and even he even repaired another issue we were having that was going to be a problem in the future. I believe the techs name is Randy. He was very pleasant and occomodating.

Mary sent out a technician the following day, who diagnosed the actua; probem, ordered the part and came back the next day to complete the repair. All this was done with my aproval, and the estimate was close to the actual cost. They were responsive, efficient, and professional. Will definately use again.

Murrell has been out to our home 4 times in the last 6 years for service on several appliances. From the phone call to Mary for a service call to handing the repairman a check, they are always pleasant, prompt, full of useful information and their workmanship is awesome. I have not, nor will I, call anyone else but Murrell for any appliance repair.

Excellent coordination between Mary at office and Billy with repect to parts knowledge and expediting repairs. Will use Murrell for all future appliance repairs.

She called in early afternoon to say on the way be there in 15 minutes. Billy repaired and gone in half hour very neat professional service. I have confidence in this company will be the only place I call for appliance repairs in the future.

Excellent phone service representative who asked appropriate questions as to make and model. Prompt service which was early within the 3 hour window. Professional appearance and work by service mechanic who was knowledgeable of the trade. Had part available on truck which avoided a second visit. Super job.
