Alufab USA Hurricane Protection

Great experience. Company was highly recommended by neighbor who had same work done. As part time residents, much of the transaction was handled over the phone. We were present during installation. Sales people and installers were responsive, punctual and the quality of work is excellent. Highly recommended.

I had a competitor install just one shutter for my large back area facing the sun. After less then 2 years a $10 part needed to be replaced. I think it was free however a $100 plus service fee. Now ALUFAB had my attention with their 5 year warrantee. I called both companies for a quote for the rest of my home and Alufab was more competitive. Jack was honest and straight up not once saying anything negative about the other company. The company made me feel I had complete control by always giving me options on installation etc. They took care of HOA approval and permits. They were always on time and polite. The actual installation was the most impressive part. I was here for the installation. Justin & Levi were so into detail. I saw them constantly check and recheck their work. Even the clean up and the demonstration of the equipment was a treat. I have had many projects done at the home in the past few years and this was a pleasure. The icing on the cake was the office staff. thank you

Jack (Salesmen) came to the house and explained all that i needed to know about the hurricane protection of my house. I had contacted 2 other vendors (Home Depot and Lowes) and I felt like I was being price gouged by both of them. When I got the estimate for Alufab is was lower and the products that were being installed was better than the other 2. The front office was great and the installation crews were on time on budget and they coordinated with Collier country for the permits and the follow up inspections. I have been hiring contractors for over 40 years and this outfit by far is the best in Florida for their product, pricing and service.

They were among the lowest priced and were very professional. They came to my home and I asked if they could rush for me. I was fully installed in 7 days! That's 8 motorized shutters installed and done! Great company. I would use them again!!!

Everything went like clockwork! We got three estimates and Alufab was the least expensive. Liked Jack who sold us on the product! They got all the condo approvals needed and everything was installed and completed in three-weeks. The installers were great and handled everything to completion. Taking the lowest bid we thought may be risky, but nothing but the highest recommendations for Alufab USA!

Fantastic job overall. Classic "under-promise" and "over-deliver", which is the way it should be. Couldn't be happier. Very prompt in getting back to me when the estimate was requested. Mark was very courteous and professional. Estimate was for 5 weeks out (the shutters are manufactured right here at their shop on Metro Parkway) but they came out in about 3 weeks. I love how everything came out. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. The shutters look beautiful!

I called Alufab after reading all the reviews on Angies list. I made an appointment for them to come out and give me a quote from some sliding glass doors. . Jack was prompt courteous and very knowledgeable. He took his time with me and was able to answer all my questions, and even followed up with several news articles to back up his answers. I really appreciated that. I got another quote from a different company to compare to Alufab. The other company was twice as much for the same product! Jack was very patient with me, and ALWAYS returned my calls within 5 minutes. The support staff in the office was just as prompt and efficient. IThey installed a 4 panel hurricane sliding glass door, a two panel hurricane sliding door and some hurricane shutters. The doors were nicer than I thought they would be and really updated my home. I am so happy with them. They took their time with the installation which took about a week. They covered my furniture with plastic so as not to get dust or dirt anywhere. The installation was seamless, as there were no problems. I appreciated their attention to detail to get the job done well. The company followed up afterwards, and even sent a thank you note. I would highly recommend Alufab to anyone looking for new windows etc. I was really happy with my choice to use them and the end result.

When deciding on a company to install hurricane protection for your home, condo or townhouse don't even waste your time looking for a vendor. Do yourself a favor and select Alufab. They surpassed my expectations. The office, installers, salesman kept me informed every step of the way before and after the installation. They did everything from beginning to end. The best part is I wasn't even there during the installation and they took care of my condo as if it was there own. This goes down as one of my best experiences ever and I mean it. They were competitive, and their customer service was the best I've seen. They even sent me pictures of the work done each day. Do yourself a favor and select Alufab, you won't go wrong.

The installer was on time and worked steady till the job was done, very polite and considerate and professional. He did an excellent job. The electricians were experienced and did a great job also. The shutters are fantastic. The rolldowns are like a steel wall! I love them! Very impressive. My experience with Alufab was excellent. From the salesman, Jack, to the final inspection, all went very well. Alufab does what they say and stand by their word.

Justin and Levi were punctual, professional and knowledgeable of their product. After the installation was completed, the two men cleaned their workplace. I am extremely satisfied with Alufab and would highly recommend their product.

The salesman was on time and took a lot of time explaining the functionality of the shutters and took precise measurements. Within two days he provided me a detailed window by window description of what was to be done and how much it would cost. He said installation would be within 4-6 weeks because I had one window that required specialized glass. Within a few days the owner can by and re-measured the windows to make sure they were correct. Five weeks from the time I signed a contract the installers arrived and installed all the shutters in two days. The installers we on time, professional and very neat. They had me look at each window shutter to make sure that it was installed to my satisfaction. Great company to do business with!

Process went extremely well. We contracted for the job over the phone and set up a day to begin when we arrived at our home. They showed up at the agreed upon time and completed the work in one day. Completely cleaned up area and disposed of all material not needed.

WONDERFUL COMPANY TO WORK WITH. The sales rep Jack Lengal was very friendly & easy to work with. The installers, Justin & Levi, did a fantastic job & we're so honest & professional. They even put new screens in ( for a small fee) because the existing ones were improperly installed. These 3 men are definite assets to the company. I contacted our salesperson.He still had measurements on the remaining openings. I asked for bids using a few different configurations or accordion and roll down shutters. He provided these for me. In our talks he really didn't seem that interested in our business this time. I understood it was only $1800 or do to complete the home. I decided to check around and got Two other providers that wanted to do the job for about $100 less than Alufab... I recontacted my salesman, and told him I found a better price, asked him to match. I told him that if they could do the install quicker that I would still go with Alufab and even pay the $100 more for convenience. Got nowhere. He even told me if I didn't want his terms he'd understand me going elsewhere. No Angie list discount, Not able to get sales price because total sale too small and Hugo won't let him give sale price. I reminded them we are a "returning project" and had spent about $10 already. No go. So I went to the website and wrote an email to Hugo - ignored! Monday I called and asked to speak to Hugo... the receptionist acted as the trusty gate keeper. She took my info...told me she would give it to him and he may contact me. Two days later...Nothing! I reached out to their competitor and asked if they could commit to any earlier install. Lucky for us (their words) another client had just changed their install date and they could do mine in three weeks. I turned and signed the agreement with them. Shame on You Gary! Shame on you Hugo! You had a repeat customer who liked you guys, and you put a PUTRID aftertaste in his mouth. Guess when I will recommend you next? I already recommended your caring competitor today to TWO families that are doing new construction and want full shutters. Hmmmm.

The entire process from solicitation of the bid, detailed measuring, and installation was extremely professional. Jack Lengel provided all the needed information to get approval by the Association and it was a "slam dunk" so to speak. I highly recommend Alufab if you are considering storm shutters.

Salesman (Jack) worked closely with us and recommended a good solution based on our needs. Alufab was not the lowest estimate we received, but they offered the best solution and what was being provided for the money. The installers arrived on time and completed the job in two days. The quality of the work as well as the shutters/windows installed was excellent. There were a couple of minor adjustments required after the work was completed, and they came back the next day to address them. Overall we were very pleased with Alufab.
