Description of Work: "Terminix is guilty of shady business practices. This time was for supposed rat activity in our attic. They quickly show the customer a cell phone photo of the droppings and say you need a contract to trap the rats and protect your home. We were worried, bought the protection and nothing was found. Typical. They said they would vacuum the entire attic and spray it with a disinfectant. When they did not vacuum the attic, they said they never do that because there is insulation there and they cannot vacuum that. Last year Terminix said we did not have dry wood termite protection and would have to have our home tented to kill some termites. We were extremely upset. When we found our termite contract (which we've had for 20+ years), Terminix decided they would only need to spray a small portion of our attic. No apologies for their mistake! |You really cannot trust them, but once you've begun service, you are stuck with them because the initial contract is expensive -- with any of the providers. (We interviewed 3 other companies to replace Terminix and not one was honest!)"

Description of Work: I have an annual contract that covers a scheduled service every 3 months. If a pest problem occurs between scheduled visits - then service is provided at no charge. A service technician was called to treat for the presence of small ghost ants. A week later the ants are still present.

 + -1 moreThey gave us the lowest estimate and what I believe to be the better treatment. It wasn't necessary for them to drill a bunch of holes in our floors like some of the others wanted to do. They just trenched around the perimeter and put the treatment there.
Description of Work: They treated for subterranean termites and did a preventative treatment for dry wood termites.
