Description of Work: Called this company early on a Sunday morning and they finally showed up around 4:00 pm that day. The tech told me to turn the unit on without checking anything out first and then turned and walked away to go get his tools, what an idiot. He finally told me the air conditioning unit needed a top fan motor and that he didn't have one on his truck and he would have to come back Monday. He told me to leave the unit running with the fan just barely turning and very hot and said maybe it would last until Monday. He left and was gone five minutes and the unit made a loud noise and I ran and turned off the breaker to the unit. We called early the next morning and cancelled the service call but still had to pay $125.00 for the idiot coming out. We called a different company and found out we didn't even need a new fan motor. Won't ever use these people again.

Description of Work: I have had nothing but trouble with the Trane unit I purchased 6 years ago. I even had the rep. from Trane come to my home with the service rep. from Sunset Air. The Trane rep. blamed Sunset air and Sunset Air blamed Trane and I was left in the middle with no recourse.

Description of Work: Performed annual inspection and service of the Air conditioning unit as prescribed by the annual service contract. They also replaced the ultra violet light that cleanses the Air in the Air handler unit. All work went very well. The technicians were very knowledgeable, and proficient. Very pleased with their service and would gladly recommend them to anyone seeking a dependable Air Conditioning company.

Description of Work: WE have used Sunset since we moved to this area - twice a year for general maintenance such as changing filters. Last year they installed new a/c unit. The give good advice. The only problem we ever had was one serviceman tracked in grime on my wood floors. After complaining, the servicemen now use shoe covers.
