I called for an estimate later in the day and they were still able to schedule someone that same afternoon! Their technician, Grant, arrived and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He offered cost saving solutions on the duct repair and even discovered a separate issue with our A/C. Completely exceeded all expectations. Would absolutely call again.

Replaced failed thermostat with new unit. Very Cool! Covered under warranty. No charge! Very, very Cool! All this in less than 2 hours from phone call to Sunset Air. Cannot be better.

Switched to Sunset Air from Jerry Carroll AC (retired). Impressed right away from the first phone calls (Angie, Shelby), to the very quick scheduling, to my on-time courteous technician Grant. He called ahead, introduced himself, smiled, shook my hand, wore the booties over his shoes, and as far as I could tell did a thorough inspection and maintenance of my units. Grant seemed knowledgeable, experienced, confident, and fixed the non-cooling problem. I signed up for their preventive maintenance agreement and will probably use them for future repairs. My only other minor comment is that it felt like he was spending a lot of time trying to sell. Sure my units are fairly old, so maybe he was trying to save me money/problems in the long run (time will tell) but until we've developed a trusting relationship like I had with Jerry Carroll, maybe they shouldn't try fear and the hard-sell of a brand new AC unit on the very first visit.

Great service. Same day service call. They arrived on time and got my AC running cold. The service tech, Mark R., quickly diagnosed and corrected the problem. I purchased 1 year service contract that covered this visit and another maintenance call in 6 months for $159 total.

Shelbi was very prompt in scheduling and follow-thru. Stephen was our first service tech and he was great! Very helpful and informative in discussing the A/C unit and our options. He spent a great deal of time figuring out what would work best for our situation. He was very polite and patient in answering all my questions. Lydia was excellent in her communication and follow-thru on scheduling and taking care of paperwork. Marshall and Frankie did our installation and were also very friendly and efficient in their work. They were very willing to explain things and answer questions. We will definitely use Sunset Air again and highly recommend!

Purchased a new A/C unit from Sunset Air last year and included in the purchase price was two maintenance visits during the first year of operation. This was the second visit. Nathan arrived on schedule and took the time to explain what he would do - service the unit inside and out and change the filters. When he was done, he went over the results of the maintenance and also took the time to program our thermostat. I have used a number of A/C companies in the past and Nathan was the most professional and thorough technician we have used.

This company is very professional from start to finish. They had a range of options that would work in our condo and once we picked it out had the permits pulled and got installing very quickly. The had to run a new Copper refrigerant line as we have a split unit with the air handler in a small closet inside & the condenser unit outside. They ran that and insulated & protected it for it's entire length for less than 1/2 of the cost of the company that put in the Lennox unit 12 years ago that was nothing but a problem.

The whole process was easy from the phone call to the technician arriving on time to the service and advice he gave me. I requested a standard service contract that gives me 2 regular check up and cleanings per year. The cost of this service service contract was $159. I received a quality check up with valuable advice about my A/C system. I would highly recommend this company to any one who need this type of service.
