We were very pleased with the professionalism of the company from the first phone call to the office to the technician at the house and the follow up call from the company to make sure our problems had been resolved.

They were very pleasant on the phone, and accommodating in getting the estimate to us quickly. Ultimately we decided to go with another company strictly based on a promotion ($500.00 Visa Gift Card or Free Air Purifier) that they were running that brought the price down. Since this was a condo that we were in negotiations with a bank, and we needed to take the lowest bid. That being said, I felt that their price was fair. I would still recommend them based on my experience, even though they did not get the job.

They were great at making the appointment to get the further help with the A/C, however ever since then they will not return any of our phone calls.

The serviceman was here on time, and was very polite and explained what he would be doing. He checked the thermostat first, as I was having trouble with it. He fixed it without any additonal parts or stats. He then went into the attic to check that part of the AC, and then blew out the ducts and blew in the aldgicide. He also cleaned and changed filters on the outside AC motor. He left no mess anywhere and left without any further charges, except what I paid through Angie's List.

Awesome personal service and professionalism. Talked to the service manager about a quote that I received from another HVAC company because I was not comfortable with the other company's diagnosis. Coastal's service manager personnally came over and diagnosed and fixed the problem. I saved lots of money by calling Coastal. Very happy!

Service rep. "RJ" came out to home very quickly. Was professional, prompt and courteous. Explained problems, pros and cons as to fixing against replacing the Air Conditioning Unit....No pressure either way....Was very informative. We decided to replace unit and RJ did a temporary 'fix' so that we would have air until the unit was replaced.Have used Coastal Cooling for a number of years now for general maintenance and at no time were we ever pressured into doing anything that they did not feel was absolutely necessary...even then..there was never any pressure. We are very happy with Coastal both with service and with people in the office. Would recommend them to anyone in need of Air Conditioning Service. There was a follow up visit by RJ and he made sure that we understood all about the unit that was installed, our warranty, guarantee etc. Very nice young man...

Scheduling was very important to us. They arrived on time and were great. Both technicians were very professional (sorry but I forgot their names) and explained everything they did. When entering the house, they even put on plastic socks to not track in dirt. Without hesitation, I purchased a service contract from them (I asked, they did not try to sell me one). I am looking forward to a long term relationship with them and cannot say enough about the quality of this company!

They are very neat and responsive. Each time I have called them they have made it a point to get there either the same day or the next. I live in Naples Park and they are in Fort Myers so, I guess it is a relatively big outfit. They must have a lot of people. I am very satisfied with their promptness, cleanliness and their ability. You get what you pay for. I will use them again in the future.

They came recommended to me from a builder in town. I checked them out on Angie's List. I was able to pay a little less due to comparison shopping. I would recommend them. They came when they said they would come. They were professional and reliable. They also gave me an Angie's List discount.

Overall - very well. The technician spent a lot of time diagnosing the problem, explaining all of the steps and problems, and answering our detailed questions. Our AC/heating unit is 9 years old and not covered under warranty, and apparently the lifespan is about ten years, so the technician recommended that we consider a new unit, He explained that our repairs might last for a few weeks or a few months. (In the event, the uint stopped cooling again that evening.) We are in the market for a new unit, and if we decide to go with Coastal, they will subtract up to 80% of what we've already paid for the repairs described here.

Chad, the service tehnician, came to my home the same afternoon I called & performed a total check of my entire system. He discovered that maybe I had too much refrigerant in the system so he reclaimed a little and the readings came down closer to the tolerances which the air conditioner should be doing. He did agree that the entire unit might be a little oversized for the house but he said to keep running the air conditioner as normal and see what happens. He spent about an hour here and there was absolutely no charge. I couldn't believe it. Coastal Cooling was true to their word that they offer a free second opinion. I'd also like to mention that Chad was very polite & professional and Coastal Cooling should be glad to have him in their employment. Coastal Cooling now has my business. I'd give them a AAA if I could.

We called several companies for estimates and chose Coastal Cooling because we wanted a 16 seer Trane at a fair price. We liked the 10 year warranty on both parts and labor and 24 hour emergency service. Angies List reports were also studied and affected our choice. We discussed replacing all of the air ducts and Rob from Coastal suggested waiting for cooler weather because our ducts weren't in critical condition. The next day the team of installers arrived a little earlier than promised and completed the installation in a little over five hours. They removed all of the old equipment and cleaned up after themselves.. They installed a new digital, programmable thermostat and explained its use. The new air conditioner is very quiet and the graph on the LCEC website shows a significant decrease in energy usage. We are very happy with our selection!

I found Coastal Cooling on Angies List. The person who scheduled the appointments over the phone was couteous, friendly and professional. R.J., the technician who serviced the units, was knowledgeable and friendly. He answered any questions I had. This was a routine maintenance on five air-conditioning units which went smoothly.

As far as I know it went real well. We weren't able to be down there at the time they did it. But when we did go at Christmas time the air conditioner worked fine. As far as I know everything went well. It worked out very well over the phone and called when the job was finished. They had to order the part so we had to wait a little while but it wasn't a big deal to us because we weren't down there yet. It worked out really good.

Had two teams- one for new AC installation, and other for enlarging air handler of our other unit and measure & install cover for new unit. All personel were professional and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable and they did all the items they noted they would do on the proposal. Just the way I would run a business- do what you say you're going to do and do it well....a simple but highly effective strategy, especially here in FL.

Service call went fine . There was difficulty with the initial installation but they responded to resolve it the way you would want someone to be treated if they were family. I certainly respect this in a company. Would Highly recommend them and will use them for maintenance.

A service technician arrived the same day I called. He was well-groomed, professional, and informative.He helped me too understand the repairs needed to my exsisting (antiquated) Ac unit, gave me a temporary fix for the problem, and scheduled a sales representative to give a detailed presentation for a new unit. Ultimately, I did not use Coastal Cooling for my new HVAC system, but found their service impeccable and would gladly call them again.

Thoroughly went over the system and cleaned the components that needed it. What impressed me is that over the years other companies invariably tried to sell me un-needed services and devices such as mold removal and ultraviolet lights. This company did its work and gave me a professional evaluation of the system and venting. I will use them in the future should any work need to be done.

I have never used anyone else since I moved here in 2008 and would not use anyone else. Everyone at this company has always been honest and when it came time to get a new system, they were competitive on the price (I had more than one quote) and they were going to do the job right. They arrived at 8 a.m. to begin their job and were here all day, Rick made sure that everything was done perfectly and when they left, my garage was cleaner than when they arrived. They explained every step of the process and walked me through how to clean the filter on the CleanEffects System if I felt inclined. The system works exactly as they said it would and let me add, when Frank arrived to give me an estimate, I was the one who asked for the upgrades and I knew we wanted a Trane. These guys are professional and courteous and always know what they are doing. I forgot to mention that I also have a 10 year parts and labor warranty with 24 hour on/call service 365 days a year. I have had to call them out on a holiday weekend with my old system and they arrived within an hour and never overcharged me. My hat's off to the owner, because this is one honest, reliable company.

I called the office based on Angie's list research. Got an appointment for a few days out. Mechanic showed up on time and called me at work so I didn't a have to miss too much time.Had already started on condenser unit outside when I arrived. Mark was very thorough and detail oriented, and explained what he was doing and why as he worked. I was very impressed with his work. Told me that I was eligible for a discount because I found the company on Angie's List(10%) and offered a package for twice annual maintenance at what I believed to be a very reasonable price. Great job overall...Thank you Angie's List and those that took the time to rate their experience.
