The technician, Jason Cross, was phenomenal! He was knowledgeable, courteous and not at all high pressure. He had sound advice for us.

The man that come out was very nice and punctual. He checked everything I asked and did not try to sell me on things I didn't need.

We had a very knowledgeable and pleasant tech. He explained things from start to finish that needed or may need to be done. Our air is up and running again! As part of the price we also purchased a 1 year conttract to keep things running smoothly as long as possible.All in all it was a very pleasant experience,no high pressure.Our tech. was very professional.I would recommend Coastal Heating and Air and the Tech. Michael Guida to anyone that needs work done on their heating or air conditioning needs.

Excellent young man arrived early. Worked comfortably around my many dogs and cats. Provided full explanations. Performed minor repair at no cost. Did not try to sell me new system. Talked about spectrum of systems they sell when I need one in several years.

The job went smoothly and quickly. They left the area nice and clean too when they left.

On 10/19/12 a Coastal Cooling, Inc. service/repair man inspected my existing air-conditioner, found that the compressor was burnt out, & suggested that I replace the air-conditioner as opposed to a costly compressor replacement. He gave me the information on a new system that I asked for (Size needed, brand recommended, price, available installation date, etc), & answered whatever other questions that I had. As it is very hot here & I was without any air conditioner at all, he was able to arrange my installation for the following Monday, 10/22/12. As promised, they were here at 8:00 am with my brand new unit. They had told me it would take approximately 3-4 hours & they were right on the money. They installed the air conditioner, put in brand new duct work, installed a new thermostat, etc. & were completely finished by 11:45. The only thing they weren't able to do was install the new cover as the unit was larger than my old one & they had to have the cover custom built. The installer told me that it would take 2-3 days to have it made & , as soon as it was, they would come back to install it. In the meantime they covered the exposed area with plastic so, should it rain, I wouldn't have any water problems. Both men were extremely polite & friendly, the work was done well, & they were very neat. Today, 10/24/12 - just two days later, they were back to install the custom cover. That too was done quickly & neatly. My overall experience with this company (Coastal Cooling, Inc., 5930 Youngquiest Rd, Ft. Myers, Florida 33912, 239--432-9833) has been extremely satisfying. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

This was a routine seasonal check up. No repairs were required.

Overall, the experience was very good. The technician arrived on time, answered any questions and explained everything that he was doing! He pleasant to work with and did a great job. We felt comfortable with him in our home.

We discovered that our AC wasn't cooling late in the evening on July 4th and found that our condenser fan wasn't operating so we turned off the unit for the evening, turned the ceiling fans on high and hoped for the best the next day. We called Coastal first thing the next morning and were told that a tech would be able to stop by sometime between 1 and 3 pm. To our surprise a tech arrived on site about an hour later. The tech, Grant, checked the condenser/fan capacitor, found it out of spec and replaced it with a new one. He performed a few more tests and we were back in business. Our experience with Coastal, Jill who took our call and Grant, the tech was A+. Grant was extremely professional and took the time to explain the issue and what our options are going forward as our system is 10 years old and is approaching it's end of life. There are a lot of AC companies to choose from, some of them good some of them really bad. Successful businesses understand that building trust and relationships with customers is paramount. I believe that Coastal understands this. We will keep them on the short list when we need service again or when asked for a reference.

They were informative without over indulging in history or comparatives of other companies or products.

The service man came quickly and on time. Found the problem of a disconnected wire. Fixed in a short time.

They were highly recommended by my neighbor, highly recommended by my sister, and highly recommended on Angie's List. I couldn't say enough about them as far as how good they were. I was very impressed with the honesty of the people. They were very professional. I had dealt with another company that kept changing their name. My sister warned me about them. Coastal guy came out and fixed the unit that was 12-year old. He said that the unit would run until it dies and asked me not to replace it now. If I need to do it later, then he showed me some packages that I had option to whatever I want to buy. When I called Coastal cooling to check my unit in another property, the technicians were different; but they were of the same type, and same professionalism. The second unit was 30-year old, so I replaced the unit.

Being a retired general contractor, I knew my AC system was low on freon so I called Coastal Cooling because of thier location and their positive reviews on Angie's List. Grant, their service tech, came as scheduled and was professional and courteous. We inspected the system, he added the required charge and visualy found the slow leak probable site on the outside condenser. He then, with out trying to up sell me, discussed future approches for my system. He was knowledgable and up to date on code changes and compareable equipment lines. I appreciated his insight.I would recommend Coastal Cooling to anyone who asks.

Coastal Cooling was very quick to respond to our request for a bid. Allen was very pleasant to work with. We had bids from a total of 4 companies. Coastal was not the cheapest, but rather the most personable. The installation crew was very pleasant. They were here for 2 days. It was discovered after they left on the second day that the phone line in the attic had been damaged. They had someone here with a couple of hours to repair. Would recommend this company.

They gave me some options and recommendations for getting better air flow. When replacing the unit, they were prompt, neat and efficient.

My thermostat wasn't displaying. It was after 6:00pm, I called and it was routed to an after-hours call service. The operator told me a page would be sent and I'd get a call within 20 minutes. Within 7 minutes I received a call back. Explained to the technician what I was experiencing. I refrained from having the tech come out that night because it wasnt the dog days of summer. Moreover, he was upfront about an additional charge due to it being after hours. Next morning the office called me shortly after 8am. The office told me a tech would be out that day between 1p-3p. Great and thorough prompt service, signed an annual maintenance.

My overall impression is that Coastal is: - unreliable - not punctual - highly overpriced - misrepresenting what are "major brands"

Another great Angie's List Deal for HVAC annual cleaning. Everything was great from scheduling, the technician's on-time arrival and professionalism.

I was very impressed with the responsiveness of this company and with the service I received. The technician was very knowledgeable did exactly what he told me he was going to do. He didn't try to sell me any service or equipment that I didn't need. He did recommend some future work that I might want to consider doing, but did not try to pressure me into making a decision right there and then. I will definitely be using Coastal again for any future needs that may arise.

The sales person arrived on time. Gave me an estimate after inspecting old system. Was very impressed but chose another company because of bid price.

My A/C went out so I checked Angie's list and called Coastal Cooling. They came same day and did a great job. The repair ended up being an electrical problem which the technician (Tim) was able to diagnose and repair. We then discussed some maintenance work. Given that my unit had not been serviced in 5 years, it seemed like a good idea. The job was completed promply; I felt the service was outstanding and the price was very fair.

They were excellent. They did more than they said they were going to do. They came in at a lower price than some of the other estimates that I had. Even thought they did more work they were extremely clean and they cleaned up everything when they left. They came back once because the blower was so strong that it was rattling some of the vents. This was just a regular follow up service that they provide and they took care of that. I was extremely pleased with them. They came in under $ 4000 from the other estimate. I absolutely would use them again in the future.

From the estimate to the final inspection all went exactly as planned and they did a superior job. Alan and Ron (estimator and inspector) are fabulous and Matt, Richard, Robert and Wayne (the crew) were wonderful.
