I was pleased and impressed by the technician. The work was completed quickly, but thoroughly.

The technician arrived to do a maintenance and make sure that everything was working properly, as well as finding a filter that would fit our system as we culd not find ANY filter in the store that fit! He checked the whole system, opened up vernts that were not open all the way, he went up in to the attic to check to see if he could see why the downstairs was not cooling like the rest of the house and that is where he found that the condensor was not working properly so he fixed that and told us it was still under warranty for the next 2 years so if we wanted to replace it sometime we should do it within that time period. He also found that there was a piece missing off of where you put the air filter and found it stuck up inside the unit. He put together an adjustable filter we had bought for us and used some other filter material and made a filter that fit as well as told us what size we would need in the future.

Company handled this upgrade in a very professional, timely manner. The tradespeople & sales/service were also very prompt & attentive.This installation took 3 days & at the end of each day premises were left cleaned & uncluttered with a minimum of disruption.

I had my currant heating and cooling company come out for the bi-annual check-up. They proceeded to give me some bad news...my 7 year old condenser was burned out. Five months earlier we had that units air-handler replaced, but was told the condenser was in good shape. Now 5 months later the company now wants to charge me 2850.00 for just a condenser after I just paid 2700.00 for a air-handler. I had a gut feeling something wasn't right about this tech's analysis, so I got 2nd opinion for another company....which was the same diagnosis, but the condenser was 1000.00 cheaper, that was significant enough for me to do some other checking. So, I decided to check the BBB...those companies had several issues unresolved and then decided to try Angie's List and that is where I found Coastal and their good reviews. I called the office to see if I could get another opinion....I received a call from Frank who made an appointment to see me the next day. Frank's diagnosis was a FAN MOTOR....in the tune of $369.00 which included the service call. Frank explained exactly how the unit works, which the other companies made it out to be faulty. I am so thankful that I checked the BBB and Angie's list and found Coastal Cooling it was a very pleasant experience, and I will sign up for a maintenance agreement and spread the word that they are HONEST! Coastal restored my faith that there are companies out there that aren't out to screw the consumer. Thank you Frank and company!

Coastal Cooling did come out to evaluate my air conditioning unit. In the process the technician found a problem with the recently replaced contactor relay (replaced by another company). He recommended it be replaced to solve the problem. I authorized the repair and it has been three weeks now with no problems. While the technician made no guarantee the system would last another five years he did say that the repair would give us some breathing room to make the decision about replacing the system. I wouldn't hesitate to use Coastal Cooling again. And I will call them to seek a bid when the time comes to replace the system.

This was the first time I used Coastal Cooling and it went very well. The technician was friendly yet professional while doing the job. The company honored the discount since I found them on ANGIE'S LIST.

A couple of days before the work was completed, Frank came to speak to us about a new air handler. We liked that he didn't try to sell us on the expensive models. We made the appointment for between 8-8:30AM for the work to be done. The only negative I can say is that one of the technicians showed us at 7:15AM, waking us up. I would hate to think what would have happened had we woke up early to go out to breakfast- and no one was home! I mentioned the appointment time to the technician, to which he told us that Frank should have never given us that time because he likes to be out early and it is too hot to work later on. Besides that issue, there is nothing else negative to say (and some might not even consider that a negative). They worked thoroughly, and took care to clean up after themselves. They secured the air handler better than I expected. The air handler is working great, and cooling our house down perfectly!

I called Coastal Cooling after 5 on Friday afternoon. Their answering service took the call and within 15 minutes, I had a call from Eric from Coastal Cooling. He tried to save me the cost of a weekend service call by walking me through several steps to see if an easy fix was possible. Eric called back Saturday morning to see if any of his suggestions had worked. Since it was necessary for a service call, Eric was here before 11am and took care of the problem.

The young man was here on time. He put on booties before entering our home. He was polite and efficient. The price was the same as quoted.

I had Coastal Cooling come over for a second opinion, and was impressed from the start. Frank came over the same afternoon I called and gave what seemed to be an honest appraisal of my systems, and told me exactly what he thought. He was cordial and helpful, and informed me that I just needed a serious cleaning and some routine maintenance, not an entirely new system (like the guy in the morning did). I scheduled an appointment (the receptionist was very friendly) and the technician Mark came over the next week. He was excellent and was also very patient and helpful in explaining what needed to be done, and he answered my questions well. He was here for about 2 hours, and spent much time cleaning and made a point to show me his completed work (unlike the previous company). I signed up for a maintenance contract (an additional cleaning/tune-up in 6 months) based on the excellent service I received. I strongly recommend Coastal Cooling.

The technician was professional. Used foot coverings and was neat. Asked for a verbal history on the unit and then performed the requested maintenance check.

The receptionist for the company was polite and efficient. A service person was dispatched the same day as the problem was reported. The service person was neat, clean and knowlegeable. The problem was fixed very quickly and the work area was left in good condition.

Everything went well. I had received two other estimates from different companies and canceled one estimate because the company did not show up when they said they would. I found Coastal Cooling on Angie's List, and called them. Frank Lamitina came to do an estimate and submit a proposal on time. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and I felt comfortable with his presentation. I accepted his proposal and his crew arrived at the appointed date, time, and took out my old unit and installed the new unit in a few hours. Later that same day Frank arrived to go over the new unit with me and to answer any questions I had. All in all, the entire operation was painless and efficient and the unit is working beautifully. I would recommend Coastal Cooling to anyone looking for HVAC work to be done.

When my A/C stopped cooling I called several companies on the list and a referral from my neighbor. Of five called, Coastal phone-quoted the best price, their "lady on the phone" was very nice and they were able to send someone out within an hour or so. The serviceman was also very nice and did just what we asked... "Get it cooling right away." Though just a tiny job, it left us with a very good feeling for the company. We'll definitely call them back when we do the remodeling later this year.

Great from the beginning to completion of the job. Company and its representatives were a pleasure to deal with.
