Renu Ceilings

I am pleased to report this company did an excellent job. They showed up on time to the second, didn't make a mess and finished on time. The only thing I would add is they don't drop electrical fixtures so if you plan to change yours soon they should be dropped before the work. Also there was a 'gluey' smell the night of the job. If I had known the smell would have been that bad I would have stayed out of the house that night. I had asked about the smell during the estimate and Phil told me there would be no smell. The smell was only bad for one night.

They are terrific, I was amazed. They come in, get the work done, cleaned up & it looks better then new! They did this for a large living room and a large master bedroom.

We did not choose them to do the job because we wanted to have one person doing a couple of things that we needed to get done. A general contractor was doing other work in our house and he did the same job for the same price. The people from Renu constructions were very professional and punctual. They were very good people but they could only do one job.

They are very professional and they always get the job done. If I ever cal them with a problem they always come right back out. They really know what they are doing so it is not like having the three stooges running around my house. The office is very together and friendly.

I thought they performed an excellent service. They improved the ceiling and the entire look of my condo. The cleanup was very good, as well, considering how dusty of a job it was. They honored the Angie's List coupon I had and everything went well. I would definitely hire them again.

Everything from estimate visit to clean up was done professionally. Crew arrived on time, covered the house with plastic, scraped and sprayed the ceilings and the clean up. Whole job took about 8 hours.

I was extremely pleased that Renu ceilings was able to repair the ceilings in both rooms, and the workmanship and service was excellent. My ceilings look like new again.

From my initial phone call for the appointment to inspect and quote the job, ReNu was punctual. I thought their pricing was fair. All the work done was of excellent quality. They protected our furniture and carpeting, and were on-time.

Very professional -- business phone is answered by a real person during business hours; "ballpark" estimate was given by phone (and final estimate was spot-on); showed up on time for final estimate; work was completed on time and was of top quality. I hired RENU Ceilings to remove the popcorn ceilings from a condo I recently bought in a highrise building in downtown Miami. Doing work in a condo like this is sometimes tricky because contractors have to coordinate with HOA management and their rules, freight elevator access, etc. On top of that, my condo is a second home and I was not there to supervise the work. In spite of this, the folks at Renu Ceilings did an excellent, "problem free" job and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The crew showed up at 8AM as promised and began an incredible job of masking off the entire interior of the house. The care and effort was obvious as was their experience. After masking and scraping, they began repairing flaws as the popcorn was added to our home during it's previous administration to cover poor repair work. As I have experience in drywall work, the skill demonstrated gave me assurance the job was being well done. After providing time for the repair work to dry, the crew returned to spray the texture. The total project took 8 hours to complete with nothing for my wife and I to do but some light dusting and return some of the fragile items we relocated to avoid possible damage. This was caution on our part and after watching the Re-Nu team work, they would have been everybit as careful. This is a company we gladly recommend and give them our highest satisfaction marks.

The men did a great job, and left the place cleaner than when they came. Would use them again in a hear beat and heartily recommend them. Extremely professional, courteous and overall excellent.

Fantastic service. Arrived promptly at 8:00 A.M. and completed the removal of the popcorn ceiling from the entire house, plus garage by 4:00 P.M. The knockdown applied was beautiful. Very professional workers. Would highly recommend this company to anyone. Company honored the Angie's List $50 coupon with no problem.

We had several estimates and Renu was one of the lowest. They had an A rating so we chose them. Everything went well and an excellent result. There was minimal mess considering the nature of this work, but of course we did have to do a thorough cleaning afterwards.

Phil showed up on time for the estimate, took a quick look around and gave me a price of $1150. I scheduled the work and they showed up on time and quickly began work. They completely covered the area in plastic and were very clean and courteous. The job took a little longer than they expected due to the first coat not drying as quickly as they expected, but notified me and came very early the next day to finish up. Over all a great experience. I would use them again. I don't know what the going rate is for that kind of work, but it seemed a little high, but I think I got my monies worth in quality.

This company was excellent! They showed up when they said they would and cleaned up before they left. I think their price was reasonable. I noticed a small spot that needed retouching and they will be coming out in two days to do the repair. This is the first of several remodeling jobs to be done and I think it went quite well.

They did the job quickly and professionally. Lorraine at the office was very helpful coordinating the crew arrival and etc.

The rep promptly came out to our house and gave us an estimate. We were comfortable with the price and we hired them to come and do the work. The workers showed up on time and immediately got to work. They were fast and moved through the house, removing the popcorn ceilings and leaving us with a smooth one. They were very clean and even moved the furniture around. We would definitely work with these guys again!

They were on time as scheduled and did a satisfactory job on removing the popcorn ceiling. They did not do as thorough a job of cleaning after they were finished and did not replace items on the floor where they had moved them from. They were also to repair a crack in a wall, which they did not do. Although the three young men were personable and worked quickly and efficiently, they must work on piece work . They were more anxious to leave than to do a thorough cleaning job of the remnants of the ceiling they had caused.

I called for an estimate, Phil the owner came to my house (on time), gave me a very reasonable estimate, indicating that I didn't need to replace the sheet rock. Other contractors said I needed to do a more major renovation. Saved me quite a lot of money in that regard. The office called the next day, put me on the schedule, the crew came on time, did the work in less time than I thought, and the work appears to be very well done.

The gentleman who came to give me an estimate came even earlier than the beginning of the time window he had given me! The two men who came to do the repair work were also right on time, and they did the job very neatly and professionally. They were polite and totally cleaned up the areas they worked in before they departed.

He came when he said he would. He gave me a written estimate. He was very professional. I would use in a pinch.
