Renu Ceilings

Made an appointment for an estimate, got multiple calls to confirm said appointment which I confirmed only for them not to show because I didn’t respond within 15 min of yet another confirmation message/call the day of. Called and spoke to Tara. I asked why the no show after the multiple confirmations, only for her to get defensive and argumentative about their procedures. Asked if they wanted my business or should I look elsewhere to which she hung up the phone. Extremely unprofessional, would not recommend.

The crew arrived 15 minutes early which was fine with me. Professional, answered my questions and did an outstanding job. I will be using them again when I move / remodel my condo.

I have used this company four times. Each time, the work is performed to perfection. Every aspect is done right, including protecting the room, repair/knock-down and cleanup.

They arrived when promised and let us know 30 minutes in advance that they were on the way. When they arrived, team of 3, they introduced all of the members and went to work immediately. Because of the mess possibility, they bagged all 3 rooms with plastic from the ceiling to include the floor and all of the connecting hallways and walkways all the way to their truck. 90 minutes later they were done, there was not a speck of old or new plaster anywhere out of place and they job looked fantastic. The work was perfect, their respect of our house was first class and they worked so fast it was hard to believe that they had done it all. I highly recommend this company and would use them again if I ever have the need.

I had two, separate above-the-ceilng plumbing problems in my apartment. Large, irregular holes were cut in my ceiling by the plumber. The entire experience with ReNu was outstanding. The quote came promptly, The two men were polite and professional. They worked diligently. Protection and clean up were so good that it looked the same as when they started. The final price matched the quote exactly. And the work is beautiful. I have had multiple bad experiences with South Florida contractors in the renovation industry. The ReNu experience has been exceptionally good and motivated me to write this review.

ReNu Ceilings ABSOLUTELY has to be the best Company to use for Knockdown!!! I first hired them in 2014 and today's service was just as impressive as it was then. I recently had a roof leak in an area they had already done & needed a small area repaired. I decided to have knockdown done in the bedroom as well as the hallway. Every step was professional. Raven was very pleasant and accommodating over the phone, I really appreciate the Owner coming out to give the estimates, and the on-site STAFF was superb!!! Dale, Carlos, Martin(and I'm missing one) took very care in my home. I'm extremely satisfied with the finished product, but I'm more impressed with how they protect my home. For them to complete a job that is sooooo messy without actually leaving any signs of mess is nothing less than IMPRESSIVE!! ReNu Ceilings is definitely the company to call!

Everything was excellent. The owner came out to look at it and do the estimate and explain the process. The office kept us on track with the appointment (I had to postpone twice). They showed up on time and were very courteous. The process is amazing...they prep so very thoroughly that there is no mess at all, and just a very slight chemical smell after. They patched areas where we had speakers and old lighting areas removed. I only had to put away fragile items and did not move furniture. They also recommended an electrician (I am replacing halo lights and ceiling fans) and he has been excellent. A great experience. I plan to have them come back to do all of the bedrooms as I only did living areas.

They did exactly what we wanted done, worked within the promised time span and left the place clean and neat.

They showed up on time and got to work. They competed the task in a timely manner.

They did an excellent job. Ceiling looks brand new. They were able to come out the next day after the estimate and complete the job. Workers were professional and left no mess when they were done.

Two men showed up, they started quickly and worked continuously until finished. Took about 3.5 hours and the ceiling looks better than before the leak because they fixed some poor work done on an earlier leak before I bought the property. They replaced rotted wood, drywall and put on a smooth finish. Old finish was popcorn. Great job again. Price is good, but the work is better. Well worth the few dollars more than the cheapo cos.

I was so surprised how easy they made the process. They arrived on time, went right to work, covered all exposed areas, removed the popcorn, applied the knock down & totally cleaned up the entire house. I would certainly recommend Phil & Re nu ceilings.

Professional, punctual, and flexible.

The crew arrived on time and were very professional. They answered all my questions throughout the day. They protected my furniture and belongings by taping plastic from the walls to the floor and then all across the floor, covering everything completely in every room (except bathrooms). They even put plastic on my driveway to protect my pavers from the house to their truck. They removed all of the popcorn, screwed all of the drywall back up and taped up all of the seams. They spackled over the seams and then applied the knockdown, which was interesting to watch. They removed all of the plastic and then finished cleaning up, including vacuuming the floors. As promised, this was completed in one day. I took their recommendation for a painter and am more than pleased with the end result. I wholeheartedly recommend Renu Ceilings and thank them for a job well done.

They arrived at exactly the time promised, completed popcorn removal from approximately 2700 square feet of ceiling and applied knock down finish, they also repaired 9 openings from removed intercom system and two large in-wall speakers. They completed everything in one day. They left my home very clean. It was a real pleasure dealing with them. Their price was very competitive.

It went off without a hitch. They were in and out in a day. No mess and they did a fantastic job fixing a very bad job on my bedroom ceiling that I have been living with for years. If I had known it was this easy I would have removed that ugly popcorn ten years ago.

Fantastic service from start to finish, great contact from the office staff to the installers, on time,very fast and clean up afterwards, they even did the garage, Couldn't be happier with results. Definitely will recommend to anyone looking to do it. Phil and his crew came through without issues.

Excellent! Need drywall in any form? Look no further! I've used Renu twice and they're as good as it gets! My ex is a GC in another city, so all aspects of construction are very familiar to me - and Renu is the best you'll find!

I would definitely hire these guys again to do drywall work for walls or ceilings. They aren't the cheapest, but the price was fair and the work and service were very good. There was a lot of work to do, they brought in plenty of guys to get it done quickly. The walls are now flat, and the knockdown ceiling texture looks amazing! No more popcorn! There were some tricky wall sections (semicircle window openings) and it all looks great! The framed wall in the kitchen came out OK as well. Things got a bit messy, especially the exposed subfloor which they let the skimcoat get all over. but in the end it was cleaned to my satisfaction. A+ for responding to my concerns near the end of the job. The painters that came in after ReNu mentioned that proper primer needs to be used after skimcoating due to the dust, so make sure you get competent folks to do your paint after the drywall work. They also mentioned that some sections (around the outlets, etc) the skimcoating was a bit sloppy and showed them to me... honestly it wasn't a big deal, they were able to break off the excess and make it work.

From the initial phone call to the estimate and the job itself, ReNu Ceilings was extremely professional and efficient through the entire process. The staff on the phone was friendly and knowledgeable and the guys that came to our house to provide the estimate and perform the job were fantastic. My husband and I thought the job would take all day, but the team was in and out of our house in a half a day. They were very clean, left little to no mess, and applied the knockdown texture perfectly. Thanks so much!

I am writing this review late so cannot recall all the names and details, but Renu did an excellent job and everyone I dealt with there was super nice and responsive. I just referred them to my sister and she could not be happier as well, she almost pulled the trigger on another company that was almost $500 more before I saved her and told her about Renu. That's what drove me to write my first review on here to assist with others making responsible choices and due diligence. They were responsive, on time, well priced and worked fast. They worked with my schedule and got the work done before the painters arrived. They had my place cleaned and done in a day. When the estimator arrived he remembered he had done part of the house for the previous owners, I looked and sure enough the old owners had left all the old bill. I asked if he could match the existing knock down it to make it look seamless and they did so perfectly. No complaints A+, hire with confidence.
