Renu Ceilings

We took advantage of Angie's List special "Big Deal," and arranged with Renu Ceilings to take down our popcorn ceiling in our master bathroom. We arranged for them to come about one week before work was to begin on remodeling our 3 bathrooms. They were on time and very professional.

They are a great company. Very neat and clean. They are very friendly and showed up early. They put plastic anywhere there could have been issues. I will definitely use them again.

They did a great job - first the owner came out and gave us an estimate. A week later his team arrived, and quickly repaired the drywall and plastered it over. They then cleaned up after themselves, and I was quickly able to pay them with a credit card on-site. They paid very good attention to detail, and the wall now looks better than it did before the damage!

We liked them. They were really excellent. We had no problem with them. They did what we expected them to do. Everything was done well.

They knocked down the popcorn and put up new texture. In one day like 2500 square feet. They did a great job. They left no mess. They were great.

A crew of 5 men arrived early Saturday morning. They went over the job details with us and gave us an approximate timeline. They absolutely covered every room from top to bottom, incl. the floors. Everyone was very professional and polite. It is a very messy job, but they managed to keep the overall mess to a minimum. They finished early in the afternoon and cleaned up nicely before leaving. Job well done!

They had a large team that came in and completed the work in the same day. Very willing to do the job and very professional. They brought in all the equipment required and removed all the damaged material. They cleaned the driveway and ceiling to where you couldn't even tell they were ever there. I would recommend them again to anyone. Very pleased with the work!

Phil coordinated with a lighting and painting contractor for other work we wanted done, such as high hats replacing fluorescent in the kitchen, and painting the new ceiling. Everything was timed perfectly.

They removed & replaced water damaged ceiling drywall. Taped off with plastic the entire room from ceiling to ceiling. Textured ceiling when fixed.

Found Renu on Angie's list when I was checking reviews on Paul Bange Roofing. They were running a special for $100 to do a 12x12 room, so I called to get a price on a room double that size. They agreed to $200, but since I was not going to be ready for a couple of months (the house was being re-roofed) they agreed to hold the price until I called again. About 6 weeks later I was ready and the owner, Phil, came out. I hadn't mentioned Angie's List and he gave me a proposal of $400. Since the original quote was by phone I played him the voicemail quote and he immediately agreed to honor it. Not only did he keep his word, it also shows that, at least in his case, the discount on Angie's List is real! Although I did have a bit of trouble connecting with the office to schedule the work, a date was agreed upon. Unfortunately I made an error and wasn't available, but they cheerfully rescheduled for the following week even though my cancelllation was last minute. They cheerfully rescheduled for the following week. While the crew was running a little behind schedule on the new day, the crew arrived and promptly began work. I really didn't have to move anything, which was great because it's a tenant-occupied property. They masked and dropclothed the walls, floors and furnishings and within less than two hours, I had a brand-new ceiling! There was no mess, no trouble, no problem. (I probably made more mess painting it the following week!) I would highly recommend Phil and his crew at Renu ceilings, and will definitely use them again!

They were punctual for their estimates for popcorn removal, and drywall installation, but frankly their prices were quite high in comparison to other estimates. There was a nice follow-up call from the office, but their price was simply too high. A very professional operation, so I hope they can find a way to save costs and reduce their pricing some. We will still give them a chace on our next project. Truly, we wish you success Renu.

This company was very punctual when they came to give me an estimate. There was damage to an upstairs wall from a roof leak, and the water flowed through the inside of the wall and exited on the first floor. This company repaired both the upstairs wall and the downstairs wall and ceiling. Their work was great. My walls were sanded evenly, they ceiling where they repaired matches, and they even repainted one area where I had the matching paint. When they came my house, they covered the floors and furniture with plastic for protection, and they cleaned up spotlessly. I am planning to contact them for an estimate for addtional work.

Talk about punctual! These guys are on top of things. Phil and his crew were superb. Very professional. No nonsense. I had the living room, office and four closets that needed the popcorn ceiling removed. Knockdown texture was added and they did an amazin job. I will definitely use them again for my next job.

The experience was very good. After our estimate, they followed up with a phone call. They were punctual, neat (this can be a very messy job) and finished quickly. The only thing we would have liked is if they had done the painting / finishing as well, so we didn't have to hire a separate contractor.

The owner comes to see everything. He takes no money until the job is finished and you are pleased. The men were very nice. They covered everything and didn't leave any mess. I would recommend them to anyone. I recommended them to a friend who has had an equally pleasant experience. Everyone is very nice and professional.

Given a time window of the afternoon. Arrived at 4PM. The work took an hour. They were courteous, professional, and worked well. They laid plastic sheets on the floors and vacuumed afterwards. The work itself was well-done.
