Description of Work: Company was very helpful on a problem I had with a potential property I was buying. Bob picked out some issues he saw in his electrical inspection that others had missed. he also wavied his estamite fee! Highly recommend Perfect Electric and I will hire them in the future if nesessary

Description of Work: I spoke with Trish on the phone. She was very polite & professional. I needed several things done. I am attempting to have my landscape designer install approximately 30 LED outdoor high end fixtures for my residential landscape lights. (I have just finished investing $15,000 of brand new landscaping & wanted to add the finishing touches). To do this I need an electrician to run two circuits to the exterior of the house from the inside electric panel so we could "fire up" the LED's. I also had additional interior work to be preformed as well. I need to replace the exterior low voltage track lighting on the patio ceiling as well as the den area. I lso need to have two neon lights "hard wired" to our game room along with revamping our smoke detectors. There is some extensive work to be done. After making Trish aware of all the my needs I wanted to set up an appointment so I could get an estimate. That's when the wheel came off the wagon. She required a $69.95 fee for a "service call" to provide me with an estimate. After making a couple of previous calls to her competitors, I was flabbergasted to hear that her company was the only one that charged for an estimate-although in her defense she stated that if they got the job they would credit back to me $69.95. Well that's very nice of them-not. I informed her that perfect service was the only company to charge for an estimate. She stated, "we are a small business (they have a very large & beautiful website) are are attempting to grow the business by cutting down on the time & expense in sending out one of their electricians." I responded , "that thinking would only scare possible new customers away & would hinder your growth not make it flourish. I would just considerate the cost of doing business". She answered, "that yes, some people don't want to pay for an estimate, but that is our policy". I said, okay I'll let you know. If must be a wonderful feeling to have so much business you can be independent. I never can have too much business

Description of Work: Transformer for under counter Led lights.

Description of Work: They installed five light fixtures. They did it promptly and were extremely professional. I would use them again in the near future.

Description of Work: They checked out the breaker on the house and our stove. Reset the breaker and told us the problem was with the stove.

Description of Work: Gil sorted out where our junction box wires lead, neatly capped them off and ran new wiring through the attic from the box to a new switch in the kitchen.

Description of Work: They checked and rewired an outlet which was surging/sparking and our stove had shocked my husband, so they checked out the situation and made some recommendations. They also took a look at our fusebox and told us that it had been delisted by UL because it doesn't trip properly, so they recommended replacement.

Description of Work: I had them install electrical boxes for ceiling fan/light fixtures (the previous owners had just pulled a wire through the ceiling), and two exterior electrical boxes for corner motion sensor lights.

Investigated the outside connection to the Florida Power & Light Co. meter box. Showed us (and explained the value of) voltage meters to determine whether an outlet is functional.
