It went perfectly. The team of Kevin and Ren were very personable, totally professional and expertly completed the work ahead of schedule.

I keep calling them because they are reliable, neat, and do a good job. I can't really speak to price because I have not really compared pricing, but I would not hesitate to use this company again.

I needed someone to look a circuit breaker for my hot tub. Communication was poor, the provider came by the house while I was here but I never knew until I called back. Then said he could come Saturday and to call then. When I did, he said he was too busy. Total waste of time. They should change their name b/c they are far from Perfect.

We have used this company several times over the past few years. We find them professional and knowledgeable, and are always on time. The only downside is their pricing, as they can be very expensive, which made us rethink a few projects. Great for emergency call-outs.

I was trying to install new chandelier but could not sort out the wiring in our older house. Called Perfect Electric based on positive reviews on Angie's List, they came out the next day and gave me an estimate of $280 to install the chandelier and a new dimmer switch, and inspect an outlet that was not working. The cost was somewhat higher than I expected, but since I was in a bind I decided to proceed. The service person was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and accomplished the work very quickly, and everything worked fine, so overall I was pleased with everything except for the cost. However, in inspecting the outlet that wasn't working, he looked at the electrical panel, and said it was a defective/dangerous model that needed to be replaced, which I subsequently determined was accurate. He also inspected the outside electrical connections/mast, and said those should also be replaced since they were undersized/poorly done, and the total estimate for whole job was over $7,000. I had three additional estimates done by other local electricians I found on Angie's List, and all three said only the panel needed to be replaced, but that the outside electrical connections/mast met code and were in good shape and did not need to be replaced. All three other estimates were $1200 or less, and two even priced out the additional work that they said didn't actually need to be done, and the total was still in the $3500 range, over half of what Perfect Electric estimated. I feel like Perfect Electric was trying to scare me into getting unnecessary work done, and at an overinflated price.

I needed a GFI outlet installed. The location was approximately 3 feet from the fuse box. I had similar work done several years ago and expected to pay approximately $200.00. I called Perfect Electric and had them come out. I knew if they didn't do the work they would charge $69.50 for the service call but as I knew what to expect I didn't think twice. Imagine my shock when they offered 2 estimates - one for $1144.45 & the other for $1516.82. When I challenged them they said this was the price. I paid the $69.50 and told them they were crooks and had them leave.

They were on time and did everything they promised to do. Many other electrical companies I spoke to were not willing to cut into the concrete floor to install the conduit. Some of the other electrical companies requested that someone else cut the concrete, but Perfect Electrical Services was willing to do the complete project. The amount charged is a little more than other estimates, but they did a good job. Great follow up and customer service too.

Really was a wonderful experience in all ways! Actually got the owner on the phone on a Saturday and within one hour, he was at my home! Very friendly and professional. He gave me an incredible price and fixed everything within an hour. I will never use anyone else ever again to do any of my electrical!!! Fixed all of my outlets and my wires in the breaker box!

The guys were professional and friendly. The guys arrived on time, presented their insurance protection. I told them what I wanted done. After taking their book out, I was FLABERGHASTED that to install TWO simple lighted ceiling fans that *I* purchased, it would cost $200.00 PER FAN for a total of $400.00!!!!! I declined since I can do that myself with a buddy. The next item that I couldn't fix was the old broken vent fan in the ceiling for the downstairs powder room. I was over a barrel since my town-home is up for sale and there was a showing at 2PM and it was 11AM. That price was a WHOPPING $756.00 so for 75 minutes they removed and discarded the old vent fan, went out to some store and purchase a new one and install it at TEN DOLLARS PER MINUTE!!! They had to create a 2 inch by 8 inch larger hole which they patched up to resemble the knock down on the ceiling and the guy matched it up well. To say the least the price was EXCESSIVE. Again I was astounded that they wanted 400 dollars for 2 ceiling fans which would have made the job price $1,156.00 which was the cost of my plumber who installed ALL the fixtures in my kitchen AND bathroom which took him 4 hours. To say the least I will NEVER call them again even with the 10% discount and if I referred a friend to them, they wouldn't be my friend anymore......

Everything was great except the price $300 to check dimmer switch! UPDATED JULY 9, 2012: I wrote a review as a non member when this service call was made. I did not see the response as I was not a member at the time. I became a member today and looked it up and was shocked at the company's response. Their response to my comment of $300 to replace a switch was that they replaced 6! There are six on that plate, however they did NOT replace or remove and reattach them. The technician removed only the plate and replaced only one switch. From the time he started the work - after discussing the price, etc - to the time he finished was 20 - 30 minutes! The only reason I allowed him to complete the work is that I was having a party that night and I was already into them for the $69 service call. Never again.

He came out and check the shutters and it was not electrical. We did nt know who to contact. He stayed with us and made sure we could find someone to fix the shutters. He even got on the phone to help find someone to help us. He was very thorough and patient.

I called Perfect Electric Services on Monday and scheduled an appointment for Wednesday between 2-4 pm. Tuesday afternoon I received a call confirming the appointment. I stayed home from work losing a day’s pay to be there when the electrician arrived. I waited and finally around 4:15 I called and received no answer. I left a message. I still hadn’t heard anything by 4:30 and I had to leave soon so I called again. Someone answered and did not give a name, I started to explain the problem and the man cut me off a rudely told me that my appointment was supposed to be rescheduled. I let him know that someone had called the previous day to confirm the appointment. He said they were on another job and it was more important than mine and I should have called to “remind them” of the appointment sooner. He was so rude that when he offered to come out, I didn’t feel comfortable dealing with him alone in my house. I said that I would find someone else and he hung up on me. I am frustrated that I lost a day’s pay to have someone come out; I would have understood had someone called me and explained that there was an emergency call. But to be yelled at hung up on and told it is my fault because I believed the employee on the confirmation call was way beyond poor service. I guess my job wasn’t large enough to deserve their respect.

There are two parts to my review: the work they did and the price. The work was superb. The price was breathtaking. Of all the work I've had performed in 35 years of home ownership they were equal to or better than anyone else in terms of professionalism and quality of work. And, by far the most expensive in terms of hourly cost. It was like the type of technician you see in commercials: neat, clean, punctual, thorough, etc. If you want top notch electrical work and money is no object these are your guys. If you'd rather use the same money to go on a cruise find someone else. I was in a position where I had to have the work done immediately, so I had no choice when the tech arrived. We're talking the kind of money you spend for two hours with your lawyer or an hour with your dentist getting some significant dental work done. I have to say I wouldn't use them again because I know I can get quality work done for a lot less money.

Everything went great with this company. They are very knowledgeable and great customer service. There prices were very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
