The roofer would get a triple-A. They are great. I spent about $10000 or $11000 for their services. We were satisfied. Their service was excellent. We would use their services in the future too.

Professional but expensive. I'm thankful I got a second opinion!

I called Lyons Roofing and requested an estimate. My call was returned the next day, and Jack Lyons came out promptly. He did a full inspection of the roof, both in the attic and outside, to determine the source of the leak, and to make sure that there weren't any other areas of concern. He gave me a written estimate, and we decided to move forward. I was impressed with how professional he was, and with his explanation of the problem. We scheduled the service and I was very satisfied.

The entire process of getting our new roof was efficient and without issue. They finished the job in two days, (weather permitting) and cleaned up so you didn't even know they were there.

We used Lyons Roofing to fix 5 leaks plus some cracked tile in the home we recently purchased. The estimate they gave was a couple hundred less than other estimates we received. The job took 2 days to complete and each time they were very professional and punctual. I would definitely use Lyons Roofing in the future.

John came out immediately to look at the roof and get me an estimate. He was $1000 less than the other company I had come out - and they guaranteed their work with a warranty. The other company had no guarantee. They were on time, professional, and so far, we have had no signs of leaking. Thanks John!

I think they did a good job. They pointed out what was needed. They had a really good price. They did not leave a mess. I would use their services again in the future.

I had a leak in a closet so I called Lyons Roofing on Sat and by Monday someone had come out to give me an estimate. I got three different estimates and Lyons was the only one to go up into the crawl space to see exactly where the leak was coming from. The others just got up on the roof and didn't bother going into the attic. Lyons actually found two leaking areas, one that had caused damage in the closet in the house and the other over the back porch area. He gave me a separate estimate for each and his price was very good. I told him to do the one over the closet and that I would have the other one done later on. Two workers showed up exactly when they were supposed to and completed the job in an extremely professional and timely manner. Even though I got Lyons Roofing from Angie's List, I have since found out that they fixed leaks on two of my other neighbor's roofs and they both said that they were very pleased with the results and have had no problems since. I plan to have them come back to fix the other problem as soon as I can.

The owner from Lyons Roofing Company took a good amount of time to look around trying to asses the problem. He confirmed that the leak was not coming from the roof. He couldn’t figure out where the leak was coming from and he honestly told me so. He could have tried to charge me a good amount trying to replace my whole roof but he was very sincere. I can’t say enough good things about him. He was a nice person. He was one of the best people I have ever come across over the years of work that I have got done at my house. He was totally trust worthy and a man of his word. He was an old school like I’m. He just wanted to give me the best service that he possibly could and that’s something that I’m so appreciative of. I would use his services again in the future

I was satisfied with the work. They were knowledgeable, punctual, gave good advice and they were very thorough. They cleaned up after themselves as well.

We left a message over the weekend to have someone come out for quote. Even before John Drake came out to give us a quote, the office made sure they contacted me by following up to make the appointment. Normally, contractors take days to make an appointment. From the first moments, they did an outstanding job! I was also glad to see the VP of the company coming out for the quote. I knew he would have a personal interest in getting the job done right. John explained why I was having problems and to what extent Lyon's could help. He made me understand in detail, what could and couldn't be accomplished. He explained all the processes and how they were going to fix each individual problem. He found issues that I didn't even know existed, but solved the mystery of the constant leaks. This may sound corny, but I've been a super frustrated homeowner dealing with leaks since I had the roof replaced about six years ago. Lyons Roofing gave me a real picture of what I was dealing with and a realistic solution. They corrected all the problems possible and the price was actually lower than I paid for hack patch jobs that lasted a few months with other roofers. After the work was completed, I got a call from the office explaining that John or the owner would come out to follow up and inspect the roof. Wow! I was impressed again. And they did come as promised. John let my husband know that the work exceeded his own expectations. Well, I totally agree. I would highly recommend Lyon's to anyone with roof problems. They treat you with respect, care and diligence. I'm elated to have found them after all these frustrating years. I know they I can count on them to be honest and do excellent work. The roof was left super clean and better looking than when I had it replaced completely.

What a pleasant suprise to find an honest, proffessional roofing company. My roof had a leak over garage area. Lyons roofing had done some repairs in that area about a year and half ago. The president, Jack Lyons, came out to give an estimate. He stated that the work was out of warrantee but if the leak originate in the same area as last time they would repair it for free. Well, I was sure that when they did the flood test they would say that leak was not in previously repair area. But they were HONEST and said it was a small crack in the area of last repair. They fixed tha crack at no charge to me. Their staff is very professional. They arrive in company truck with company logo shirts so you don't have to be concerned that they're subbing out the work. I have used Lyons Roofing twice and 3 of my neighbors in Davie have also been very satisfied with the level of service and the quality of work this company delivers.

This company repaired that which no one else has been able to fix for the last 10 years. I had my roof completely re-done in 2005 before Wilma hit, and all was fine up until a few months ago when that same old leak started up again. The roofing company I hired in 2005 was long out of business and their guaranty went with them. Lyons roofing arrived and pointed out everything the last guy did wrong on my roof. These guys are real pros and punctual and courteous. They are far more likely to be around to back up their guaranty too. Hire a real company, and don't just try to 'save money' on your roof. You can't do anything else with your house if your roof is leaking.

It could not have gone better. I have used this contractor previously with great satisfaction. When I discovered my roof was damaged from Hurricane Wilma, I immediately called them. They worked with me every step of the way from insurance estimates to permits to removing the old and putting on the new. They were always on time, extremely polite and friendly and very professional. This went from the owner to the fellows that tore off the old to the people in the office.. The price was fair, they worked thoroughly and quickly, finished on time and within the quoted price. There were no games. The completed roof is beautiful. I have heard all the horror stories about roofers in South Florida. This is a company and an owner you can trust.

I was only aware of 2 areas but John Drake who did the estimating went into the attic when it was raining and discovered a third leak from a vent in the roof. For some reason no other company that came out (4 total) to give estimates went into the attic to see the "full picture" . I felt the estimate was very thorough and I decided even though they were higher in price I wanted them to do the work. They also took a water diverter off the roof, stained the new tile and also some tile from a previous repair to match the tile on the majority of the roof. They painted the new fascia and as a courtesy they removed some attic insullation where some critter had built a smelly nest and replaced it with new insullation that I supplied. The guys who did the work were very polite and punctual and worked full days. They cleaned up their mess each day. I would certainly use them again.

My mother's ranch-style house roof had been leaking in spots for two years: we finally decided to have the roof replaced. I live in Indiana and my brother lives in Florida with her, but I offered to do the "legwork" to get the roofers lined up. We chose Lyons because they were local and had good reviews. My brother was very impressed with the thoroughness of their inspection and the estimate for work needed before the job. I flew down to be there when the work commenced, in mid-November. I was thoroughly impressed with the company's commitment to the job: a whole crew of some 10-12 men arrived on the first day and worked until they had stripped and removed the old roof and the damaged wood; the foreman kept us informed about what they were doing and how long each step would take. I was especially taken by the crew's concern for safety: whenever any one of us came out into the yard, all work instantly stopped. The work itself was splendid: the new roof is gorgeous and the crew cleaned up after themselves and left the house, gutters and trim looking fantastic. The price was very fair, and the time it took to complete the work (including two separate city inspections) was quite reasonable. We are all delighted with our new roof and with Lyon's Roofing Company.

They had to come over at least 4 to 5 times before they finally fixed the problem. Before they fixed the problem completely, the water would come in and trip the electricity and when I told the owner about it, he did not show much interest. I was not completely satisfied with their service.

They are expensive but I would definitely recommend them. They are more expensive than others but they go above and beyond. It went excellent. They have people that care, they had the right chain of command and doing a good job was important. Everyone else gave me quotes for $1500-$1800; they were $2500.

The two gentlemen got to problem area and and repair it without incident. Upon finishing the repair, they were polite and i noticed that all debris was totally cleaned up. Lyons Roofing gave me a two year warranty in writting and did not mark up anything upon payment. Also they honored the coupon listed on Angie's List. Overall i am satisfied and hope the repair will hold as expected.

They were always on time, when they gave us a time they were there. They worked hard and were very professional. The workers were very courteous. When they left we didn't have to clean up after them, they left it as it was when they got there. They also offer a three year warranty on their work which shows they believe in their work. I would definitely hire them again.

Before we got them, another company came to try to do the job and made it worse! Lyons Roofing is great, they explained everything to us, and finally fixed our roof. They had three workers on each shift and the job was completed in two days.

I was pleasantly surprised that they came over the day after I called to check the problem and provide an estimate. Since their reviews on Angie's list were so high, I didn't even bother to obtain comparison estimates; the price seemed to be alright. No down payment required, no estimate charge, good start. After faxing them my acceptance, they called two days later for scheduling. The guys showed up as scheduled and got the job done in about 3.5 hours. Another pleasant point: they guarantee the work for 2 years. I'm waiting for the next rain to see how their work holds. Thanks Angie's!

I requested estimates from 3 highly rated roofing companies listed on Angie's List to repair roof leaks at the front and back of our home. The company rep showed up on time for the appointment to make the estimate and was the only estimator of the 3 to find the source of the leaks in both areas and suggest repairs to fix, not just temporarily patch the problem. The bid required no deposit--pay after the job is done. The job was scheduled at a time convenient for me. The workmen showed up as scheduled and completed the job within the estimated time framework and left the area neat and free of any debris. Then the owner came to our home several weeks later to inspect the job and make sure we were satisfied with the work.

I cannot tell you how pleased we were to find these people on Angie's list. They responded quickly and did excellent work on the damaged area from the tree. The portion they repaired on the shingle roof had been an existing problem that several others had tried to repair to no avail, they accomplished the deed perfectly. The owner even came back twice after the roof had been repaired to make certain all was well at no charge Their price was more than fair, although I can't give you the quote and their work exemplary.
