My garage is leaking so I called Lyon’s roofing for an inspection. Alex arrived earlier and called in advance to inform his arrival. He is professional, courteous and honest. He suggested me first find a painting company to water proof my house because he doesn’t believe my roof is broken based on several observations. He also suggested the procedures and cost will occur if the painting company’s job doesn’t solve my problem and I decide to hire Lyon’s. It’s very rare to find an honest company who wants the best for their customers. They don’t make any false inspection because they want to make money. Although I haven’t hired them but I definitely will if my roof does have a problem in the future.

This is the second time I have used Lyons for roofing repair and a previous roof cleaning. Their pricing is very reasonable and I’ve been really impressed by their professionalism and quality of work. They have left the work area cleaner than it was before they arrived, even blowing out the leaves from the gutters and cleaning them up from the ground. I would definitely use them for future work and highly recommend them.

Great job! Customer service was excellent with everyone that I dealt with, from Jack to Lia, John and Alex, and the workers too. Everyone was professional, courteous and very responsive. Their quality is flawless with attention to detail. Their price was competitive, not the cheapest but not the most expensive either and in the middle of my estimates. Since I was doing a full roof replacement on my house I got estimates from 5 different companies. I chose Lyons roofing because they had done roof replacements in my community including the community pool clubhouse, thus I could see the work they had done plus I knew the other customers and talked to them. Overall very satisfied with Lyons Roofing. Great job - I am a satisified customer!

We needed additional roof repair after our inspection for a pending house sale. After J&K roofing failed to find these problems and/or did not fix them back in December, when we had previous extensive repair done, we hired Lyons. Other than having to wait about 6 weeks for their very busy schedule (backed up by all the rain too), they were phenomenal. The repair men were efficient, courteous and went above and beyond by even painting our fascia for us. I would like to tell everyone, Lyon’s Roofing was worth the wait!

They did not do the work I paid for, the roof continued to leak and they wanted to charge me an additional fee to fix it. I now have to pay another roofer to fix the "repair" that Lyons Roofing did. Lyons Roofing did damage to my roof instead of repairing it.

All work done very professionally. Workers were nice and neat. The charge for removing the plant on the estimate was $325. The estimator said they may have to remove tiles, etc. to remove the plant. The worker said, he just pulled the plant out with no effort. Therefore, I thought the $325 charge for that was a bit pricey. Very pleased with repair and work.

Good job. Replaced missing tiles and filled in "mud" in areas where needed.

We've used them a couple of times. I would use them again in the future.

The fellow spent a lot of time here and suggested I try caulking some thin gaps just below balcony doors before spending more to repair or reroof. I appreciate his honesty in the matter.

The work was done in a timely, professional manner. I have used Lyons Roofing before and have found them to be a company that performs according to the best standards of the industry and follows up on any deficiencies promptly. The only issue following completion of the work was three small but noticeable yellow spots showed up on an otherwise bright white finish. I contacted the factory rep, Matt Rodemeier, about this as the factory is responsible for the warranty. He declined to remedy this as he called it "asphalt bleed through" and said it would not compromise the waterproof character of the applied coating.

We had a leak in our daughter's bedroom. We had a roofer quote us an amount and my husband asked me to get some more quotes. The first roofer installed a temporary tarp because he did not want any water to leak further. That worked well for more than 2 weeks. I called Lyons roofing for a quote and the guy came and was up examining everything, gave me a quote as well. Two hours after he left it started to rain and I had stepped out of the house. My children called me really upset because there was a much bigger water leak in my daughter's room and water was all over the floor. I called Lyons Roofing and the lady said he will have the guy call me back. He called me back and said that he did not touch anything, that the roof was bad from before. He started arguing and yelling. I told him I cannot argue, just please put back the temporary fix that was there for more than 2 weeks with no water leak! He said he did not touch anything. If he did not touch anything? How could he tell me that the wood was all rotted and all the damage that was there. He had to move something to see the damage?! I called the company again and the lady that answered listened to me and told me that someone will call back. No one called back!? Our roof is still leaking?! Worst customer service and employees that do not own up to their mistakes. I will make sure that I tell everyone what a terrible roofing company this is and to please not give them any business.

Jack Lyon is amazing as are his office staff! They held our hands through the entire process, Jack called us to answer our questions and explain what he recommended and why. They didn't try to up-sell us or convince us we needed extra things we really didn't. Jack came to our house twice to evaluate different things we asked about including helping us determine what style tile we wanted as well as left us samples. The roofing team did a quality job and cleaned up after themselves daily. The only thing I wish had happened was that we were communicated to as to when they would be here working and when they would not. End result: roof looks amazing and we are very happy with the quality of the job!

Estimator Alex showed up on time on 7/2/2014 and gave estimated time for repair to be done as 2 to 3 weeks, weather permitting. Crew showed up on 7/21/2014 and completed repairs except no charge repair was missed. Company called me following morning and I informed them of missed repair. Company owner called me back and arranged for missed repair to be done the following day. That in fact was done. Original work crew not only replaced rotted fascia with new painted fascia but painted adjoining fascia so everything looks great in that area on the front of our house.

When I suspected a small leak in my front eave I contacted three roofing companies - two well known local firms and Lyon's Roofing (because of their reviews here on Angie's List). Company A did not even meet with me, they just phoned in a quote and said that their price might change "depending on what they find." Company B did send a guy to actually look at the roof, but he only glanced at it from the sidewalk and gave his verbal estimate with the same caveat (depending on what I find). My contact from Lyon's Roofing was Lee. Lee not only looked at the roof eave, he walked the entire roof and went into my attic and did a full visual inspection both inside and out. He not only found the eave leak, but a second leak in a "roof return" and a rusted J-Vent which was no longer water-tight. He also pointed out that I had some cracked tiles exposing my underlayment which really should be glued back together. All of this was presented in a written, binding estimate which was very competitive in cost considering all the additional work! His contract even included a 2 year warranty, where the other company's had only been for 1 year. Lee showed up to work exactly as scheduled and was very good about communicating his scope of work for the day, as well as anything he found that I needed to know. The work did take a day longer than planned, but that was only due to our typical afternoon rainstorms this time of the year. However, Lee also found that the lead seal on two of my flue vents were broken open on the top - allowing water to penetrate inside and down the PVC pipes. He sealed them both for me at no additional charge. On the last day when he was reinstalling the tiles, he told me he had some extra mortar and would I let him correct a set of poorly installed tiles he found on the roof from a previous repair - again at no extra charge. From start to finish I was very impressed by this hard working man and his team. I knew nothing of Lyon's Roofing before this month, but I can not express my satisfaction and plan to recommend Lee to as many of my neighbors as I can!

They were on time and very polite,got to work right away and did a fantastic job.The girl in the office was very kind and kept mr informed of their schedule.

First contact, and thus the first impression, is made with the office staff. They are extremely polite and professional when answering questions or scheduling an appointment. It rained the day of my first appointment in 2007 and they called to reschedule! From that point on, all contact has been exceptional. Jack Lyon came to give me the quote and answer all of my questions. My roof was replaced as promised, the work was beautiful and everything was done without a minute of aggravation. Jack also suggested that I use the Roof-a-Cide every two years. A reminder is sent when it's time for the next application. And as always, the technicians arrive as scheduled. This is an easy, no hassle company - they are always a pleasure to work with.

This company is probably one of the better companies out there. The only reason I did not use them is because they wanted almost 90 percent of the job paid as soon as the tile was delivered and their warranty only covered defects in their workmanship, not defects in the material.

After a weekend of heavy rains, we noticed a water stain on the ceiling where in May 2011, Lyons Roofing had repaired a leak for us. Charlie and another technician came that Monday after our service call and were prompt and very professional. They identified the leak and proceeded to repair it. The leak was right next to the flashing and area that had been replaced previously and since it was still under the warranty, there was no additional charge. We have used Lyons Roofing for many years and recommend them when someone needs a roofer.

Lyson's roofing is a fanatic business to work with. I have used them numerous times over the last 20 yrs. 1st time was when our hour was struck by lightening. They showed up and fixed the damage. They have resolved leaks correctly more than one time without any failed attempts. Each time it fixed the problem. They have done other work around the roof line for me as well; all done very well. Following huricanes, Wilma and Katrina, they replaced roof tiles. The roof was old so they found tile and stained them to look similar and matched. Did a great job. Roof replacement was done right and on time snf price was competitive-less than other roofers. This roofer has my full confidence and I have recommended them many times to others people who have used them and feel the same.

I've used Lyons Roofing for years. They are very professional and always get it right the first try.

The inspection went very weel. The inspector brought a specialist on Roof to give a Roof Opinion. The Technician (a new inspector) claimed the roof needed repairs for $8,400 and the roof had an estimated life left of 3-5 years. The Buyers wanted to walk out. We convinced the Buyers to let us get other quotes from highly recommended Angie List Professionals. We did 3 other quotes with highly recommended Roof Contractors from Angie's List and 2 others highly recommended. The highest quote was less than $4,000 and all roofers agreed that the roof should have at least 10 years life left, if the problems were fixed and the roof maintained (tile roof with about 10 years since installed). The worst part is that we called the owner of the company, Mr Jack Lyon to asking to review what his technician had put in the report, after we had done the other quotes. He came right on time and took a long time evaluating the roof and insisted that this technician estimated was very conservative. The only admission he did is that they use 3 to 5 years to be conservative and to insure the Buyer can get insurance. The Buyers close and will not be doing the repair jobs with Lyon Roofing and you can be sure that we will not be using their services as a roofer or inspector any time soon. If it was not easy to glue this deal together after the opinion of Lyon with, as proven by 5 other quotes, was not valid at all ($8,400 he estimated, $4,000 maximum cost)!

There have been several leaks in the last 5 years which Lyons Roofing has come out and repaired, some in the flashing and some in the roof peak. The flashing leaks were repaired successfully but there has been persistant leaking at the roof peak in different areas which has been addressed several times. The leaks worsened after a weekend of heavy rain and and we called to request that someone return to reinspect. This technician who was sent out was unprofessional and left without trying very hard to find the leak. I entered the attic myself the next day and easily found the leak, wet wood and stains on ceiling. This is in an area they have already repaired once before. After speaking with the owner he quickly sent out a different technician team who were very thorough and professional. They identified the problem areas and repaired those areas within a few days. The owner stated he thought the problem was due to the way the local inspector required the tiles at the peak to be fastened when this was installed, which has since changed.

This is the second time I have used Lyons Roofing. The first time was to replace the flat portion of our roof as required by our home owners insurance. This time was to repair a leak. They were very responsive and able to come out for service quickly this time. The first time took a little longer to schedule. We live out of town and they coordinated the service appointment directly with our tenants which was a big help. Their prices are reasonable and they did good work.

I have used Lyons Roofing in the past, as have my neighbors. They are always on time for estimates(next day), very reasonable and highly professional. My leak was in a tricky place-where the garage roof meets the second floor wall, so it took a lot of cuts and awkward fittings. The company's scheduler/Queen of the roofers, Mary, was very informed and on top of the job, though she wasn't here. Due to a very heavy rainy season, they were backlogged, but got to me quickly. The team that did the work spent two days, arrivingt promptly at 8:30, and working through the rain. The insurance adjusters were out today, and could observe their work from the stair landing. They were very impressed, stating they had heard Lyons was an excellent company. Both days, the crew cleaned up spotlessly. I am a retired Firefighter, and did a lot of construction in my younger days, so I know quality workmanship when I see it.. I uhesitaingly recommend Lyons Roofing for any repair, up to and including whole roof replacement. FYRESQ CE Rousseau Weston Fl
