Description of Work: My water heater was leaking water all over the garage floor. I called at approx 10am and spoke to Peter, at Father and Son Plumbing on 16 October. He was very professional and asked several questions about the current Water Heater size, also size of house, number of showers etc. Within a few hours he called back and confirmed that he could provide a new replacement, properly sized water heater. Additionally based on my request he proposed to install a water re-circulator pump. By 3pm ON THE SAME DAY, two of his workers arrived with the replacement heater and recirculator pump. Within one hour the old water heater was removed and the new components installed and connected. The workers worked quietly and cleaned up the area after the installation was completed. Very professional work and I was very happy. I would definitely hire this company again and recommend to others.

 + -1 moreThey were prompt and courteous. They were in and out in 30 minutes. Did most of the work fairly quick and well. had two other jobs to finish but did not have the parts. Still waiting to hear back from them some 30 days ago to finish the other small jobs. I thought $170 for what they did was a little on the high end but plumbers and electricians seem to be a bit expensive.....knowledge
Description of Work: They fixed two toilets that kept running. They replaced part of the guts but not all. They also fixed a jammed shower handle basically with wd40 and proper tools and strength.

I asked about another issue with the washer spigots and they quoted me a VERY reasonable price, provided the valves and used the Angie's list discount coupon for both jobs! I couldn't be happier with the service and the price... I would recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber!
Description of Work: They fixed a clog in a toilet that other service providers said would entail taking out and possibly replacing the toilet, in less than 15 minutes. Also replaced the valves on the washer connection and hoses.

 + -1 moreFather and Sons Plumbing was very prompt, came out today, after a call this morning saying they might not make it until Monday. They removed the toilet from the floor...roots were right there. They used a professional snake, or whatever it's called and broke up the clump of roots...about 18 inches. They reinstalled the toilet, cleaned up the area. Done in an hour and a half. They will definitely be recommended to others in this senior citizens development. Honest, punctual, fair priced...$225.00 vs $2400.00 for Roto Router. CUSTOMER EXTREMELY SATISFIED.
Description of Work: Writing this report for a neighbor, who had Roto-Router yesterday 10/27/11 quote her a price of $2400.00 to remove roots from toilet line. And charging $600.00 to clear the lines---which didn't help.

Description of Work: I loVe singing the praises of fair and reasonable services. Recommended this plumber to a friend (I got the name from Angie's List but hadn't called them myself, yet)...they came out went on the roof and snaked their pipeline only to finally discover the problem was at the main sewer/drain(?) of the city. They didn't charge her!!! FAIR AND REASONABLE...love it!

 + -1 moreBecause of our limited time availablitiy, we had to ask them to come back a second day, which they did at no extra charge! Several of these problems were pretty involved, and required some rerouting of pipesand such. They worked around our schedule, worked fast, and cleaned up everything. We won't use anyone else!
Description of Work: We had a leaky shower, leaky pipes under two sinks (one of which was connected to the washing machine drain as well and was a source of several major floods....), needed an entirely new faucet system, and had three outdoor spigots that needed replacing/repair.
