DOC'S PLUMBING

Gary responded promptly to my emergency call on Saturday evening re a flood in my condo. He spent several hours cleaning up the water and determining the source of the water in both my unit and my neighbor's adjoining unit, which was also flooded. It was eventually determined that my neighbor's water heater was the source and needed replacing, but my water heater was so old that I decided to replace it also. Gary came back early on Monday morning with Eric to replace our water heaters. Both Gary and Eric were very professional and hard-working and seemed quite knowledgeable. I have used Doc's Plumbing on two prior occasions and was very satisfied with the service on those occasions also.

The drainage work which we have had done before was a mess, exactly the same work done by Docwent like a dream. Very nice and polite service person, good communication with the service communicator. All over we were very pleased.

I was assisting friends in finding a plumber to repair a small section of a gas pipe that went to the water heater. Doc's Plumbing was called and quoted an hourly rate of $135 an hour and $35 for each additional half hour plus parts. Their Tech who was on a job called back and spoke with my friend and said it would cost $700. I recontacted the office and inquired as why the tech would quote $700. The person I spoke to was a bit surprised at the amount and said it would probably take several hours to which I replied; to make two cuts and attach a six foot piece of pipe (no digging involved). I was told that they could be there in the morning to which I replied that there was no way we would hire them after such a high quote. When I asked if they are on Angies list and was told yes, I was a bit surprised.

I Love Doc's plumbing...they are up to date with all the new ways to accomplish things...we did NOT have to dig up our driveway, they were able to shoot a "missle" underground for the new pipes. Doc's plumbing is the best...and we should know...we've been using them for 20 years!!!

Gave a quote for an on-demand water heater that (we found out later) was much bigger than we needed. To install the new heather they could utilize the existing vent hole in the concrete block but would have to drill a second for a breather pipe. The $2254 quote did not include patching the concrete. (Guess they were just going to drill a hole and let me fill it in.) Because a second hole was needed a "helper" would be required on the job. Labor costs went up to $135 per hour. This newest quote was $700 more than the price given the day before. Needless to say we had someone else give us an estimate and perform the work.

Doc's canceled the first appointment but immediately rescheduled. They met the second appointment. The serviceman was very professional and personable. The repair to the faucet took a little longer but it was a pedestal sink and they are always trouble. The serviceman also provided a stopgap repair to a shower valve and also recommended a procedure to replace the structure without having to tear the wall of the shower out. He even provided a fixed quote. There was no pressure to do it immediately. I think the company performed professionally and I feel they did a good job.

Overall, I am satified with service and outcome. The tech walked me thru the entire process while he was here at my home. I feel this company provided excellent service and I would highly recommend them.

Everything went great. I contacted a bunch of plumbing companies on Angie's List via email regarding this issue and they were the most responsive via email (most didn't even bother to reply) and came in at the lowest price. I am extremely impressed with them and will be using them for all of my plumbing needs in the future! Daniel & Jason were both great! :)

Went great. He made it clear that this was a stopgap repair and the future work would be needed, which I really appreciated. He was on-time, fast and efficient.

We have had multiple problems with our tankless hot water heater. We interviewed and received quotes from three companies. Docs was not only the least expensive, they were able to get us on the schedule before Christmas . They got back to us promptly with the quote, did what they said they would for less than they anticipated in time. Most importantly, they were extremely knowledgable about tankless systems. Not all plumbers are!

They have always been reliable and compitent. They've unclogged drains, major plumbing installation and so on.

Called Doc's and they sent someone ASAP. We have used Doc's services for at least 15 years and have always had a good experience. They are prompt, courteous, honest, knowledgeable, efficient and reasonably priced. I recommend them highly and without hesitation.

Arrived promptly and began to unclog drains. Efficient. professional, and friendly.

I scheduled the repair on a Friday just after lunch. The technician, while prompt, looked me over and seemed to develop a bad first impression of me right off the bat. Nevertheless he came in, I explained what I wanted done, and left him alone for a couple of hours. He replaced the lines to one toilet and under one sink, replaced a cartridge on a showerhead and said he couldn't fix my faucet; I needed a new one. I had explained to the dispatcher that I would need an old faucet repaired and possibly replaced, but the technician did not have a replacement, did not have adequate tools and seemed in a hurry to leave. He also left behind some tools. I called Doc's on Monday morning, told them I was not happy and mentioned I had used Angie's List to find them and would write a report to reflect my displeasure. They were immediately responsive and apologetic. They sent someone else out who not only fixed everything, he told me the first technician had not done $300 worth of plumbing, and I was issued a refund!!! I was very happy with the end result, as well as a company not just admitting a wrongdoing, but righting it as well. I would use them again, and I recommend them to others. I'm not sure what happened with the first guy -- maybe he was just having a bad day -- but he is not indicative of the good service/pricing the company offers.

Doc's had responsive people. They answered their phone and sent a man out within a few hours.

I called them, and the receptionist was very polite and helpful. I scheduled an appointment for the following day at 8:30 am. The plumber (Ricky) arrived on time, and was also very nice (and very nice-looking, too). He identified the problem, and finished the needed repairs in about 30 minutes. Even though they have a minimum one-hour service call, I was only billed for a half hour of labor. All together, with parts and labor, my cost was $94. I was very pleased with the service.

They are very reliable and they have come to my rescue in a couple of emergency situations. I give them all A's for their service.

Doc's Plumbing is a fine and well-respected plumbing company. They are Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis members. I use them for all of my plumbing needs. They are very fairly priced and come very quickly.

I am happy with the work but I cant control the volume on the hot water. when I called them and told that I didn't like the faucet they never called me back.

New faucet doesn't leak and cut-off valves are quarter-turn making complete cut-off to kitchen faucets so much easier when needed. Placed towels on granite counter top to protect said top. Cleaned up after installing so that under-sink area was spotless. Polite and personable throughout. This young man, Tony, knew his business and that is what I require. His skill and knowledge is everything.
