DOC'S PLUMBING

They we're wonderful. They were polite, came on time and very professional. They solved the problem. My sister is using them for 40 years now.

It was excellent, they showed up when they said they will. They left everything clean and took the old water heater. I couldn't ask for more better service.

In short thorough which meant I paid more than I had planned. But there are no further problems.

Pleased with end result. Great work, professional results. Not inexpensive, but neither is quality. Service man went above and beyond in installing components I supplied.

Top performer - prompt, professional, courteous

The guy came and it says clearly right on the faucet the brand that they sell. He took it apart, he took the valve out and it's a single lever faucet. He took a photograph of the valve and emailed it to his company. The plumber was Roland and the person he emailed it to was Jason. Jason told him that they can't get parts and don't service that brand. He was an employee of Doc's Plumbing. As soon as he saw the brand he should have stopped then and there, but instead he spent an hour and a half taking it apart, doing nothing and putting it back together. Then gives me a bill for $170. I don't know what possessed me to pay it, but I did. I tried to make a complaint about it on Angie's List but I guess I have been downgraded. I couldn't call because I am not a gold member, which annoys me. Because I got the referral based on Angie's List. I called the plumbing company several times. I ended up having to settle with them for $100, but I paid $170. Yes he did come and yes he took it apart, but he shouldn't have. There was no disclaimer in the ad that they don't work on these sort of fixtures, but there should have been. And he should have seen what brand it was, it is clearly marked on the fixture. He should have said I can't do this. But instead he went ahead and spent time for nothing, and charged me. I made a complaint to the BBB. My next action was to bring a small claims case. I called them several times. First they wanted to give me $50, but I said no you keep $50 and I'll take the $100. They paid me the $100 but I really feel they should have given me all the money back. They shouldn't have come and worked on something they knew they couldn't service. I felt taken advantage of. I ended up going to a plumber supply store and was recommended another plumber. When I told them it was Doc's Plumbing that ripped me off they laughed and said lots of people get ripped off by this company. And you gave them an A rating. I accepted the $100, but I really think they should have given back all of it. There was no reason for them to keep the other $70. They came right away.

Initial contact was not so good. Kid was clueless. Followup, however was awesome. They did a great job. I am curious though why a plumber is called a technician. Why insult plumbers like that?

Curtis was very professional and efficient. I was very pleased with his service. He arrived just about perfectly on time, and worked to get the job done correctly. He was able to correct some previous problems with the old install of the previous water heater, and left me one very satisfied customer.

Greg was great. Very knowledgeable. He arrived right on time and completed the job in just an hour. I will definitely be using this company in the future.

Called at 9:45pm, and the tech was dispatched and at my house before 10:30. He was courteous, polite, and very professional. Couldn't have asked for a better response and experience for an unexpected problem! I highly recommend Doc's.

I had an expensive 10-year old faucet that started to leak above the counter top and solicited the help of a friend, a property manager, to replace the leaky cartridge. The situation went from bad to worse when leaking around the fittings started below the sink as well. At that point I called Doc's, based upon Angie's List reviews and a friend's recommendation. I was told by Doc's office that I'd get a call after 1 the next afternoon and Tony called at 1:30 to learn more detail about the job. He described the steps he'd take to get a new cartridge and fittings to repair the faucet, but also gave high grades to the model I had just purchased (as backup). I chose to go with the new faucet to save time required to pick up necessary parts. When I said I would pass on the older faucet to the local "Habitat for Humanity", he said he would take extra care to not damage the original. He went right to task and extracted the unit and quickly installed the new one with all new fittings. Tony showed me the full installation and explained how to register the faucet that I myself had purchased so that I would have the manufacturer's full warranty. He was genuinely concerned about the big picture and taking good care of Doc's customer. Tony said he had been in the plumbing business for 30 years and his skill proved that, but his enthusiasm about my project hadn't faded with time. Thank you.

Great company, they came quickly, knew what to do and got the job done!

Did a great job. Have used them before. My service call was an emergency and they came out just a few hours after calling. The repair was done on a spcialized back discharge toilet. I tried to repair myself and made the situation worse. The plumber had to repair the broken toilet and also correct the damgage i did. Should have just called them to begin with.

They come when I want them to. They've always been reliable and I feel that their prices are reasonable.

I've dealt with them for many projects and they always do a good job.

This is the second time I've used Doc's and am very happy to have a working shower that is caulked and preventing moisture from going into the wall interior. HIGHLY recommend them.

The plumber arrived early which was a nice surprise so my day wasn't wasted waiting for the work to start. He was very professional and courteous. Finished the work in a timely manner even when he ran into issues with needing to relocate some of the copper pipes. He was quick to point out the need to relocate the pipes since the new disposal is much larger than the old one (I was aware it might need to be done prior). The work was quick and professionally. I had 2 plumbers here who I just told them they had to leave from Angie’s List. It was too expensive for a clog drain for $200. All they had to do was open up a valve. I didn’t pay it. Doc’s Plumbing was excellent! They didn't charge me because they just did it in 2 seconds and told me he would call the office and I shouldn't worry about it. I will use them again in a heartbeat. I have to call them again for something else now. They are great!

I was a little surprised when they asked me if I had a plunger. Otherwise they have always been reliable & done a good job in the past, as I have used them several times through the years.

These guys are amazing. When I first called them, they sent the foreman who had his camera that he pushed down through the pipe. HE found that the main PVC pipe disconnected right under the doorway between the garage and the house. He decided that the easiest path was to make a mess in the garage not my house. The next day 4 guys show up to jackhammer the concrete and then HAND DIG a huge hole under the house to find the pipe. To my utter shock, he was right. NOTHING was broken as I thought. When the house was built in 2000, the contractor or his plumber did NOT cement the PVC pips together so over the years, the force of the water rushing through form the washer/dryer, and dishwasher loosened the pipe and it disconnected, sending sand into the pipe and clogging it. I went down into the hole which they rigged up with a light and I saw the disconnected pipe. None of us could believe how STUPID ANYONE would be not to cement the pipes. While the hole was open and pipes exposed they made SURE EVERY other fitting was cemented. They closed the hole and everything has worked well ever since. They cleaned up and it looked like nothing ever happened. I have used this company and ONLY this company over the past TEN YEARS and I have NEVER EVER had to call them back after they performed work.

I called them for a plumbing job on rental prop. Had installed a new kitchen. The first time out- no problem. I went to check on job the next morning and job was not done properly. I called technician and he was annoyed that I called him. He said he would have to charge me time and 1/2 to come out as it was now considered an emergency. He came out and ended up not fixing it properly. I got the kitchen man's handy man fix it and paid him cash. |I paid docs plumbing with my credit card. I was done with them. A few weeks ago I am in my car and Debbie calls me asking me for a credit card for the work. I told her shec was paid already. She said she knows I had but they lost my credit card info and forgot to charge me. I told her I was in my car on freeway and could not do this at this time. She proceeded to call me back at Inopportune times while i was in car-which is how I make my living- or during school pick up when I could not help her. i asked her for an invoice twice. When I did not receive this I phoned her office to ask again, I was told twice by a woman that she was at lunch. I asked her to verify my info- she then told me that she had my email wrong. She said she corrected it.!i waited. Couple of days and did not get it again. That evening I got a phone call from some man - Indian decent telling me I owed this enormous amount plus collection fees. I tried to get him to listen to me and he insisted on screaming on top of me so I told him never to call my home again and I hung up. |I cannot pay this without an invoice as it needs to be verified that Iit was not paid. The bank that I used to pay has gone out of business and I have no other way of verification. |Very disappointed that they chose to treat me like this. I never said I would not pay- I said I |would b happy to pay just give me an invoice. To date no invoice and no communication. |

They noticed that the previous plumber had not repaired pipes properly- Doc's corrected the problems in the attic

At 0830 I called Docs & asked Vicki to send someone to trade out a toilet. At 0930 Gary showed up, did a perfect job, & left. That was it. No muss, no fuss.

I have been using their services for about 25 years or more. They have always been fine and there have never been any problems. I have always received good service and they have been around for a while.

They are terrific! They are fast and do the jobs very well.
