The work was good. The technicians I spoke with were knowledgeable. They were professional, on time, and the materials of the shutters were fine. They were certified in the installation of hurricane shutters and were able to provide all of paperwork. They also provided maintenance services for the shutters and that has been very good as well. In general, we were satisfied with what we got.

We had really bad shutters prior to the installation. Being in a hurricane area, it is a wise investment for these type of shutters. They did what they were supposed to do. They came back out to open, close, and show us how to use the shutters. They did a good job and I would use them again. I have recommended them to others and I would refer them to others.

Everything was fine. They come out once every year and a half for regular maintenance. We chose them as they were one of companies that were recommended to us through our condominium association. We have has no problems with them at all.

So far I am still waiting to see if anyone will return my calls, but with four (4) separate calls ignored, the unspoken message they are sending me at least is "We got your money, you got your shutters, now go away and don't bother us with any problems they have" This is not a satisfactory response, and I am now giving them a F rating. Update 8/15/13: After seeing the review, the owner called me promising immediate results. After a few questions, he determined the employee that was at fault, and he is being dealt with. The repairman was out within 2 hours, and repaired the problem. I am restoring my grade back to A.

Dependable Shutter was very prompt and responsive to all our requests - first providing an estimate on shutters around our house, and secondly, about installing impact windows and doors instead of shutters. Unfortunately we decided to contract with a different company.

The quote was prompt and responsive in mid November. They had to order shutters which took two months. We had to keep calling them....they did not tell us when the shutters would be ready. Finally they installed them on February 1 after we called them inquiring when installation might occur. The installation itself went smoothly and was done in one day. However the final inspection was not done for some time. Again we had to call and call. They did not pull a proper permit and had to redo some paperwork. We spent several days waiting for inspections that never materialized...they had not called them in...and they did not have a completed permit which they failed to tell us. On April 1 we did get a satisfactory inspection. The work done seems fine. However they failed miserably to let us know where things were. The installation took a day....the rest took five months!

call them for service and repair some accordion shutters, they schedule it and told me the service only will be 250 $ because is a two story high home and the repair possible can be do it at the same time if not they will provide with a estimate of the repair. they schedule for around 12 AM and came at 9 AM i was in home so was no problem for me but came little in a hurry and they guy didn't know that he had to try to repair my shutters but took the info what he need and suppose to call be back with an estimate. wait for a week and did not call me. i call them and they told me they will call me back, didn't do it. i am kind of DYI guy and i end repairing the shutters myself. and let me teel you they look intimidating but is kind of lego it was pretty easy, just take pictures and notes what are you are disassemble buy a silicon base lubricant apply to all parts except the bottom rile and put everything back even the blades that were separated they are not broken, separate them completed and but them back.

THERE WERE SOME TECHNICAL PROBLEMS WITH THE SHUTTERS, BUT MANAGEMENT DID WHAT WAS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE JOB TO MY SATISFACTION.

i have used them, very successfully, for several years to service and lubricate my hurricane shutters. Update: As I said, I have used them and given referrels for them. When I needed to get a quote for some new doors, was VERY disappointed that their quote was more than double what the next highest quote was. No idea why so high all of a sudden. Too bad, because they do good work.

Gentleman was very professional, seemed to know his job, estimate was just way too expensive.

I’ve since passed two inspections without issue. They worked very quickly as well to complete the project.

This company did not perform a good job. I was not satisfied at all with the service. Their treatment to the customers is awful. The person who did the work was not capable enough, and he had personal issues. I think they should not to be hired. I have no good opinion towards their responsiveness or quality of work.
