Very well and love the impact windows.

I am what in the customer service industry is called a "challenging" customer and this company met all my expectations and then some. I strongly recommend this company.

I called Dependable Shutter and Glass to ask for someone to come to my house to fix a pre-existing shutter that was jammed. While the lady who took my call was very professional, she nor anyone from the company called me back on consecutive days. Once they told me they'd call me back by the end of the day, the next time they said they'd call me back by the end of the week. No one called back either time. I've since had the problem fixed.

It was not really nice. The price was pretty comparable. The work was very good until the last day when due to a scheduling issue, they had to rush and do 2 days of work on the last day which resulted into very sloppy finishes and lack of attention to detail. There was also a miscommunication as to whether or not we were allowed to keep our old doors and windows and we were told that we couldn't and we felt that was not correct. It was stated on the paperwork that we were able to keep it.

$150 later, we were told all was fine, and the shutters were lubricated. Inspection by us afterwards, debris in tracks was untouched, no evidence the shutters were even closed on one side of the house, rollers that crumble to our touch were not identified, etc. waste of money. Back to the drawing board with another vendor. I would not use them for anything.

I contacted the provider for hurricane storm panels as in their description it says that they do that type of installation. I called them and apparently they do not.

The install was surprisingly fast. Their installers were very quick and left everything very clean afterwards. We have some issues with the manufacturer with some of the windows but DSG took care of everything and we were always informed. Even the owner stop by to inspect the quality of the job.

I called to schedule a maintenance service on my accordion shutters. After being given a quote (which I thought was reasonable) and scheduling the appointment I was asked how I would be paying cash or check (no problem with that). I was then requested to provide a credit card number (I did not think that was reasonable and declined to provide one), and was told the appointment could not be scheduled without providing one. I was told the card would not be charged but I have never had to provide a credit card as security to have a company come to my home and provide a service and I don't intend to start now. Just be aware if you want to do business with this company be prepared to expose your credit card information.

I could not recommend this business more highly as they were a joy to work with and gave us VERY valuable information about keeping our newly purchased condo safe. From the initial visit by the salesman, Chad, who recommended many options to us, to the survey of the windows, and then to the installation, every contact with Dependable was professional, friendly, and ON TIME!!

I got three proposals for hurricane shutters. Dependable's price was in-line with the others, and, in my opinion, for a significantly better product than I was offered by their competitors. From the beginning their professionalism impressed me. I paid a deposit on May, 22, 2014, and they started the process. A rep came and measured. Another rep came to review the measurements and determine if there were going to be installation issues. The office staff called numerous time to update me on the progress of the project. The permits were pulled, and the shutters were installed on June 30, 2014. My wife was there for the one day installation. The installers were professional and nothing was left behind. A week later I noticed one installed screw that I did not like. I called them on a Friday, and they fixed on Monday. Very positive overall impression. Quality product, professional, on-time, courteous, definitely worth your time to get a quote from them.

Poorly. First crew had problems with installation and simply left. I called and spoke with receptionist to get someone to call me back. No callback after 1.5 hours until owner called me back. He said there was an issue w/ the installation and the installer was frustrated. Receptionist rude. Scheduled 2nd attempt of installation. Seemed to be "best installer" and pleasant. Assistant also knew what he was doing. Had to have additional "parts" delivered from Ft. Lauderdale mid-job, extending the day. When I saw they were leaving I went out and saw that there were screws sticking out of metal, which they did trim, and mess on pieces of metal behind railings which I was told would clean up after a few rains -- yeah right. They look like a 2 year old with fingers in paint slobbered on these slide pieces. I asked for financial compensation since it took 2 days; that means 2 days off of work for me. They agreed to a 1 year check up. I called to find out when the completed job inspection job would be scheduled. I was told they simply forgot to schedule it. New engineering drawings were needed so told that someone would be dropping off to me on a Saturday. Never came after staying home. Was called and told that the person would bring the papers on Sunday. Showed up at approx. 7pm, after staying home all day. The inspection by code enforcement didn't go well because Dependable forgot to tell me that I needed to be home to let him in to inspect the 2nd floor. Had to reschedule code enforcement for another day when I was home. This was way too much work for me and feel Dependable should have taken better care with this job. Staff had no sympathy or understanding for my time at all.

They called me within 48 hours and scheduled right away. They provided a great service. There was nothing in the way of additional costs. The young man that they sent out did a great job. There was a bit of trouble with the shutters as they hadn't been oiled in several years. Everything is in good working order now. I will use them again.

They not only performed the work intended but they also found the spot where my living room window was leaking from. They fixed that also.

They were great. They were punctual, knowledgeable about the product, and we had a great experience with them. We had no issues with their pricing, and there were no issues scheduling with them.

I called about getting glass replaced because the impact glass in my slider shattered. The woman told me they don't do repairs that are less then $2000.

After installing, they needed some adjustments. They ordered some parts, came back and corrected the problems. Since then I have had no need to use the shutters when I do, I will know how well it went.

The estimator came out twice to satisfy our inquiries. The engineer came promptly to configure the measurements. The office staff was cooperative with our home owners association documents. Within three weeks our shutters were up and passed city inspection. Job well done!
