Description of Work: I had 4 different company's come and look at my house they were Termiix , Orkin, Al-Flex and Dead Bug Edwards. I have a two story older wood frame home , set back from the road ,and have had tenting nightmares in the past with different companies so much thought and research went into my choice this time. I decided on "Dead Bug Edwards" Of all the representatives from different company's Ben Shields was the most knowledgeable about everything to do with "Termites" , explaining complete process, giving written material to back everything up and make it as simple as possible to comprehend and prepare for the tenting of my home. The pricing was very fair with no hidden cost (as some company's have the big sale pitch which is not so honest in the end). The tenting crew that came out were very carefull and professional taking care with all the things in and around my home and yard. Everyone ,Tracy and those in office very helpful working to make scheduling work. I was very thankful I went with this company and will certainly use them again in future and recommend them to others.

+ -1 moreAs I wrote in the above, the operation went as planned and very pleased. Remember that plants around your home within 18 inches may be covered by the tent and die. Also, read all the literature given by the sales rep as far as preperation and to do before the tenting day. Food and medicines are a big thing, as well as ventilation (open all doors and attic access, and dresser draws and windows) so the viling gas can circulate.
Description of Work: Had a number of estimates for tent fumigation of house and DBE matched all with a lower price renewal. Their sales rep, Kevin, was professional and answered all questions. The crew was there on time and very helpful. Also, the take down date was done on time, very important. They actually work for the company and are not contracted out. I like the fact it is a family run and wened business. So, if you have a problen with drywood termites, give these people a call.

+ -1 moreThis is a family owned business and Bruce Edwards came out to go over what would happen, how it would progress, and provide special plastic bags for those consumable goods to be left in the house during treatment. They answer all questions fully and completely, which jibbed with our research. The crew arrived precisely on time, was a marvel of efficiency in tenting both houses, and completed the work exactly as promised. The cost was well below that quoted by a major national firm and we couldn't have been happier with their service.
Description of Work: They tented both our house and the other half of the duplex to gas fumigate dry wood termites.

Description of Work: I just bought an old house and wanted it tented immediately, before I moved in with my dogs.I called several places for a quote and the all seemed to want to spot-treat the house despite the fact that I was asking for a TENT.My son recommended "Dead Bug Edwards" and I researched them on Angie's List. The reviews were great and they were willing to TENT. On the day and the hour we agreed to ... they were at the house. They wrapped it up like a big present and pumped in the gas. 2 days later the tent was off but the doors where sealed to give the gas time to disipate. On the 3rd day a very nice lady showed up with a gas reader and bravely went in alone. She gave me the "all clear". I gave her the final check and we parted all HAPPY. I stongly recommend this firm.

+ -1 moreI have had them for a long time. They come out to check my termite contract; they come out once a year to check and see if the termites have come back. I pay a yearly fee. It's insurance so if the termites come back they replace any damage and take care of everything for free. They automatically come out and check. In terms of price, they are the same as everybody else. I do not think anybody else is cheaper than they are. I am still using their services.

+ -1 moreThe work was completed to my satisfaction and tiomely. Do not wait until the last minute to package the perishables. Be certain that someone knows how to turn off and on the gas. And that someone knows how to light the piolet lights.
Description of Work: I was given an original estimate in June or May. I wasn't able to have the work done until September. The contractor honored the estimate that had expired. When the contract was signed, I was given written and oral instructionss about protecting my food and medicines. I was provided with teflon bags to wrap it in. The work force showed up when scheduled. I wasn't permitted to enter the house until it was certified free of gas. That happened within 48 hours of the house originally being tented.
