Description of Work: Champion installed complete A/C with heatpump - ductwork, indoor and outdoor components etc. - in my 1,300 +/- square foot house. When we bought this older home there were thru-the-wall units only. I am very pleased with the job. Scott Jakob does what he says he will do. That means alot. Every company talks a good show, but it is actions that count. He lined up the plans, permit, coordinated with the electrician, (This 1955 house needed an electrical upgrade), and with the City of Hollywood inspectors. Everything worked out without a hitch. The price was reasonable. My net cost was $6,500 after a $585 rebate - from the State as I recall. This did not include the electrical upgrade to my older service. I hired the electrcian and he and Scott coordinated well together. In short, Scott is a reliable and professional guy who conducts himself the way I wish all busineses did. His employees were good as well.

I found them through Angie's List. I spoke to a few companies and Champion Air had the best price and they were the easiest to talk to. They are a small company. They are very responsive. They also are willing to give me the FRML rebate up front. Two men came out to install the A/C. They took their time and they did a very good job installing it. They were very thorough. Also they answered all of my questions. I did have a couple of problems with the thermostat a couple of days after they installed it and they came out immediately to fix it.

Technician came out and fixed. Problem re-presented itself two days later. They sent a technician back out the next day, who fixed the problem without additional charge, and it seems to be working fine now.
Description of Work: Air Conditioner was leaking water. Technician cleared out several clogs in the drainage.

I was very pleased with the employees showing up on time. They offered me a decent estimate which I felt the price was good compared to other companies.
Description of Work: I had the duct work replaced in my 2400 square foot home. The company redirected the condensation unit as well. They disposed of the old ductwork and debris upon completion.
