This will be my painting contractor of choice for future residential painting jobs. Steve Ferreira made possible all of my scheduling needs. Two man crew led by Cesar Rodriguez Etal made precision painting the standard operating procedure. Cesar minimized ecosystem and real state collateral damage. Cesar was organized, dedicated and performed his duties as precise as the latest Iphone model. Cesar displayed precision craftsmanship at it's best. Cesar would correct his own mistakes prior to the customer pointing out any wrongdoings. 2.5 days job with good weather.

It went great! After meeting with Stephen we immediately knew they were our painters! Hired them on the spot. After waiting for our new stucco to cure, Stephen's painters came out as scheduled and within 2 days had our job done as promised. Our painters, Cesar and his helper were professional and responsive to our needs (we are really, really picky). The job was done great with no overspray, drips of paint on our new concrete or pool patio pavers. These guys were great!

Not well ultimately. 2 workers. Started ok but a little messy. Recently had new impact windows & glass doors installed, that's why new exterior paint job. Discovered after job that windows & glass doors have tiny dots of house paint on them. Will have to scrape windows & doors with razor blades, which will take forever. Worker also did off the book work on next door neighbor's house in the middle of the day for a few hours instead of working on my house, resulting in workers at my house until 6:45 pm. I didn't find out until my neighbor happened to mention it the next day. At least 4 exterior lights not working after the paint job also. Cannot recommend this company. Sorry I found this company on Angie's List.

I chose Certa Pro based on its ratings on Angie's List, and also picked two others. Certa Pro answered my call immediately and we scheduled an appointment for an estimate. (The other companies called a week or so later, and I never called them back because I was so impressed by Certa Pro.) After getting detailed information of what would be done and exactly how it would be done, I scheduled for the project to start the following week. The work was done efficiently and thoroughly, and I even had neighbors coming by to check the quality of the work as it was being done, as they were looking to have their house exteriors painted as well. During the same time that I was getting my house painted, I had another company scheduled to paint my exterior fence, and the other company did such a sloppy job, I had to fire them before they even completed it. Certa Pro advised me that they also painted fences, and so I hired them on the spot to paint the fence properly (unlike the first fence painters) as soon as they finished the exterior of the house. That job was completed immediately following the house painting, and I was very pleased. I would highly recommend using this company for painting projects around your home. I am so used to getting sub-standard work completed by people I have hired in the past in the south Florida area, and was pleased to finally do business with an honest company.

We can't say enough great things about them because our experience was fabulous from start to finish. Rich (estimator) came out to see us to give us a price and he is a professional, knowledgeable and personable company representative. He's just an awesome guy all around; he was very patient and answered all of our questions; he kept in touch with us and communicated with us about the status of our project. What can I say? Sometimes you meet people and you want to see them be successful in life. Rich is that guy. Anyway, we signed the contract and then decided that we wanted to have impact windows installed because it made more sense to do that first before painting the house. So the paint date got pushed back...and pushed back...and pushed back due to delays with the window vendor. CertaPro worked with us and were super patient and waited until we were ready to go. I happened to be home one of the days that the painter was here and I appreciated the fact that he asked me questions about how I would like to have the job done instead of making assumptions of how it should be done. The painter took his time and was very detail oriented and cautious about being neat. This was an amazing experience with a contractor. We are so happy and our house looks great. Called company & spoke with Steven Ferreira. Steven set up appointment immediately and arrived punctually for scheduled appointment on 8-5-15 . Steven provided quote for work the day of the appointment. Did not rush and spent time answering questions and explaining his company's service. He also provided a copy of liability insurance, certificate of competency and direct contact number for follow-up. Steven followed thru on a regular basis to see if I had any additional questions. He responds quickly to inquiries and is very professional.

Stephen Ferreira was the sales associate and Sandoval was the worker, he did a very professional, excellent job This is our fourth time using this company and we continue to be happy with their work

I received a call from two representatives yesterday with this company. The first gentleman I spoke with was very courteous and got the basic information needed for the job and let me know that another gentleman would be calling me as he handled my part of the county. The second call I got from this company was very off-putting. I reluctantly agreed to take an appointment but have now cancelled it after sleeping on it and making sure I am not being too sensitive. The second gentleman wanted to know how high painting my house is on my list of priorities for my home. When I questioned him he let me know that if I didn't plan on starting for a while then he wouldn't make coming out to my house for an estimate a priority and rather than come out in the next couple of days he would wait until he was next in the area maybe next week or so. When explaining to me what would happen and a time-line for his appointment he asked if I would be able to give him an answer while he was at my home as to whether or not I would utilize his company's services. I told him that I would not give him an answer right away as I have several companies giving me estimates. He then proceeded to give me instructions letting me know that when I made a final decision to let them know right away whether or not I made the decision to book with his company because if I choose another vendor he wanted to make sure to take me off the list. I am not sure what kind of customer service technique he utilizes but I was very put-off by the entire experience. I cannot imagine asking a potential client about their list of priorities (as if that is anyone's business but my own) just so you aren't inconvenienced. It felt like he was doing me a favor by agreeing to come out quickly. And then giving me instructions on how to handle a decision I will be making is quite arrogant. So rather than deal with the poor attitude I am cancelling my appointment tomorrow and will be using another vendor. *As an update: I have received both an email and a phone call apologizing for the miscommunication from this company. Going forward I would consider using their services for future work. Sending a thoughtful email satisfied me enough but getting a phone call as well was over and above. They have redeemed themselves regarding customer service in my opinion.

Stephen Ferreira came to my home promptly after receiving my message per Angie's List. I received the estimate the following day. I asked that he be patient as I live in an association and had to wait for approval. We were able to schedule the job easily. Juan came and pressure cleaned the house the first day. He came back the following day and worked diligently for three days until he completed the exterior. On Monday, Juan came and painted my master bedroom (quite a large room) and completed the rest of the work on Tuesday. His work is meticulous and methodical. After the job was completed, Mr. Ferreira reminded me that the there is a two year warranty and asked that I call if I need anything done. I am extremely impressed with this company and will be calling for any additional painting needs. I will recommend CertaPro Painters of Broward County to all of my friends and family.

Exceptional. They came and worked with laser focus every day. They were neat and clean and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend them and will hire them again.

Working with Stephen and the CertaPro team was extremely easy from start to finish. They responded in a timely fashion to all inquiries and concerns and did a great job painting the house. I would recommend them to everyone!

Excellent job all around. It started with Angie's List: I only shop contractors with a long, stable quality record and CertaPro is at the top of Angie's List. Stephen Ferreira was our contact who met us at our home and went over our needs. He proposed their standard house painting process which includes pressure wash, prime and then two coats of paint. Fine. He left us with paint samples which were helpful in that they were arranged in "families" making it easy to select base and trim color. His packed he left also included their Certificate of Liability Insurance and Broward Certificate of Competency. He then brought out samples and painted them on a few areas of the house so we could see the proposed colors at different times of the day and appreciate the finish (satin). We accepted the contract price (not cheap, but reasonable). and before our agreed scheduled date we decided to also have the roof pressure washed. Our painter (yes, only one) was effective, efficient, courteous, conscientious, very professional (a good painter for +10yrs) and a really nice person. He showed up on time, policed the area at the end of each day and communicated with us so we could plan for the ability to come and go. Our house is 2-story, so pressure washing of roof and then exterior took about 5 hours. They actually asked if they could start a few days early! He then started painting on Monday. We had no rain the whole week, but breezes got up to >15 mph at times. He was able to handle this even when spraying and there was NO overspray on the house or yard or roof. Regarding that, he knew his capabilities and that of his equipment, so knew when he had to roller or brush instead of spray. His attention to detail was terrific: perfect cut in lines around windows, etc. He completed the job by staining the concrete pool deck (two coats, too). He finished this Thursday afternoon, a day sooner than I expected (perhaps they assume to lose a day due to rain). They left me with some touch-up paint for each color and application and each of those containers were clearly marked with manufacturer (Sherman-Williams) as well as the color blend. They then assured me to call if I have any further questions or issues with the work. I will contact them about one roof tile knocked loose from pressure washing, but my assumption is they will be first class about fixing that. I will edit my post if otherwise. So.... yes, use them. And I would ask for the painter we got: Sandoval, although I have no reason to believe their other painters are not good, too. UPDATE: just as I expected, they immediately sent Sandoval out to repair the roof tile. Well done!

CertaPro completely pressure cleaned the exterior and applied a top quality paint job. Steve Ferreira provided a good fair estimate and his workers starting the job promptly once our colors were finalized. Jose and his crew applied a good quality paint job with attention to details always keeping me informed, and cleaning up after every day. I am very satisfied with the results and highly recommend them.

The painter arrived on Monday at 9am. He pressured washed entire house including roof and he did all concrete areas outside. It took him the whole day as he was very thorough. The property looked 100x better just from this. Then, the painter patched up all cracks and holes. Prepped the house for painting. Again, I can not stress how thorough and careful he was in this process. Then, on Thursday and Friday, he completed painting the exterior of the house. Only one painter worked on my house so he did the whole job from Monday-Friday. The whole process was great from start to finish.

Everything was great. From the walkthrough with the salesman to the completion of the last details. CertraPro painted my house exterior. Their painters were very accommodating, professional and committed to deliver a great job. Just great experience, good old fashion service.

The job was completed on time with absolute professionalism. Great attention to detail!!! (and I am picky as h***) Work site was always left clean and neat. All workers were polite and professional.

From the initial visit, with estimating by Stephen Ferreira, to the completed painting work by Cesar, the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Cesar's high quality workmanship and attention to detail was very satisfying. Some areas that I originally didn't give much thought to were brought to my attention by Cesar and the overall job was great.

Excellent customer service from beginning to end. Very professional. Initial job cost estimate was done by Stephen Ferreira who provided all details necessary for the job to be done (certificates of insurance and competency for the Homeowners Assoc. permit). The Company did not require any deposit or funds until satisfactory completion. Job was done by one worker (Juan) who was very knowledgeable, courteous, and hard working. Even though I had obtained other estimates from competitors, my mind was made up during Stephen's initial visit. I would use CertaPro painters again and would highly recommend them to others.

The service went well. Two painters came out for the service and completed the exterior in about 4 days. They were very friendly and did a nice job. We had no issues with their work. They could have done a better job with the cleanup but it was not the cleanup job.They did break a few pots that I just found recently. Steven was very easy to reach and great at coordinating the project. He was great at letting me know if there was a delay and kept me up to date on the project. He did a great job of doing the final assessment and found something he did not like about the job. He called the masonry himself to have them come back out to correct the issue. He was one of the key attributes of the service. I did have a follow-up meeting with Steven about some of the issues. He has been out with the paint supplier to review the issues. We are just waiting a response. He also address one item of damage. Very positive experience so far.

The service went very well. They did a great job. One painter came out and completed the job in 4 days. He was polite and respectful. He was also efficient and neat in his work. He was great with the cleanup after the job. They used high quality paint from Sherwin Williams. The pricing was competitive. The rest of the staff was efficient and friendly. They had great follow up after the project. They made scheduling very easy.

The work started on time and we were kept informed of the progress of the job and any delays (had to stop one day due to rain). The job was completed on time and they did an quality job. We would recommend them to anyone and would use them again in a heartbeat. Very professional and knowledgeable.

My wife and I have all good things to say about the way our house was painted. Steven is a nice guy who was very patient in helping us with selecting our color and explaining the whole process. Sandoval was our painter and this man really cares. Sandoval went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect and we were happy, Very clean and careful. Thank you for doing such a great job.

I would highly recommend Stephen and his crew to prep and paint your home. Stephen came out for the initial walk-through taking notes. He is professional, friendly and easy to work with. He promptly returns calls and is always pleasant. His painter, Sandoval is a pro. He brought all of the paint samples I had emailed beforehand and was very patient as we toured the house and he applied the samples. He prepped all of the walls including a great job removing an old phone jack and repairing the drywall in the kitchen. He was willing and able to accomplish anything we asked. He painted every room including all the crown molding in a different sheen. Top notch work. I also had a decorative pattern done in the dining room by Fernando who did a meticulous and beautiful job. He is an artist for sure. After all was completed Stephen called for a recap. Only one very minor mistake happened and he was again professional and pleasant in getting it resolved. I highly recommend Certa-Pro!!

Juan is a rock star!!! Professional, prompt, neat. What more could a person ask for? Very competitive pricing and the work is superior.
