It went GREAT!!

Awesome experience. For many years I had searched for a reliable, affordable, honest and competent Handyman. Scott's the man!! He called me to confirm his appoint the day before as promised. He arrived on time. The job took longer and was more difficult than we both had anticipated. Scott completed the job and still charged the same price he quoted me. (Now who does that???) I was extremely pleased and will definitely use Scoot again. I also will recommend him to my friends who also find it difficult to find good service.

Showed up on time, very polite, reasonable rates, answered his phone and/or returned calls ( VERY important), returned all unused products without my asking, did a couple of small additional things for me without slamming extra charges, gave me a receipt, and most importantly, hauled all old wood away and CLEANED UP ( almost unheard of these days)! I will be calling him again soon to repair my gate and bury sprinklers. Toni

He responded to my call quickly and was able to provide an estimate the next day. His price was competitive with the other providers I contacted. He completed the work quickly and everything looked great. He also provides handyman services and was able to install a new garbage disposal for me. I would definitely use him again for the same type of services.

I had some roofing issues which Scott worked on and then he removed the prior damaged drywall, replaced the drywall, textured it, and repainted everything. The nice thing about Scott is that he doesn't just do one things where you then have to get another person to do the other part of the work. Scott can take care of many things and he does a great job. He did inside repairs on my house which looked completely original as if there was never a problem when he got done doing the work. Will continue to work with Scott in the future!

I've had roofing problems ever since I bought the house about ten years ago. The house is quite large with multiple flat and tile roofs. I have had no less then ten different roofers over the years, even completely re-roofed the house and it still leaked. Scott who's had over 20 years of roofing experience is the first person to eliminate my multiple leak issues. I can't tell you how many times I had dry wall repairs done over what I thought was corrected just to find out that it wasn't. Scott had great knowledge of leak problems with the experience to isolate and correct the issues. He replaced over 600 tiles, removed and replaced rotted framing wood, and provided mortar work. He treats your house as it if was his own and he's very effective in what he does. Will use him going forward for sure!

I had a few windows that needed replaced and a broken door. Scott replaced the windows and got the door refinished and working properly. He did a great job with these things and has done many other projects at my house. I would feel comfortable referring him to any of my friends or neighbors, joy to work with. Very honest and fair.

The soffit on the back on our house was rotted. My husband was going to replace it, but it was hard to find were the rotten wood ended and how far back into the roof it went. Scott replaced all the old, rotten wood with new wood. He dug in a repaired what wasn't visible, He painted everything so nicely, we couldn't tell a repair had been made. After he finished that my husband asked him to install gutters for a rain catchment system. Scott installed the gutters and helped with tips for the final design. We were very pleased with the quality of the work. We also noticed the following: Scott does not profit from the purchase of the materials. He turns in the receipts and you can see how much he pays for everything. Unlike other repairmen that quote everything together so they can add a charge to the cost of the materials, we didn't get that. He took his time and made sure the work looked perfect. He prepared and painted the new area and left his work area cleaner than he found it. We feel comfortable with him working here while my husband was at work and I was home alone with the babies. He was very flexible and worked around our schedule. He didn't mind our pets

While Scott was here working on our windows, my husband was outside trying to get our sprinkler sytem going. My husband asked Scott about our well pump, it hadn't work for many months. We thought it was dead and needed replacement. It is 30+years old, same as the house, and we didn't even know where it was located. Scott gave my husband ideas as to where to look for it and how to test it. After we got his quote, we ended up giving him the job. My husband had gotten all sorts of repair materials the Home Depot employee had recommended , none of it was right. Scott dug a trench, found the well pump, repaired with the right materials, and had it running in what seem like to time! no need for a new pump! Scott has become the go to repairman for both our home and our rental.

We have part of our garage converted to a storage room. Every time it rained water would sip in and we didn't know where it was coming from. Scott identified the problem right away. The water was coming in from the bottom of the door threshold, sipping from through the concrete another repairman had used to set the the door higher up. He tore down the concrete, replaced it with the appropriate type and rebuilt the bottom of the threshold. He also did some repair to the door frame. We have not had any water coming in at all! This is after years of having to run in, peel back a portion of the carpet and place towels to absorb the water we knew would come in. Scott's prices are so reasonable, We've been taking things from my husband's to do list, and having Scott work on them. He also takes pride in his work, so we know the final results will meet or exceed our expectations.

Scott's repair was priced just right. I don't remember exactly how much we paid, but I know it was a fraction of other quotes. He took his time finding and sealing the leak. While he was up on the roof he pointed other things we may want to do in the future to prevent leaks and roof damage. Scott was prompt, very clean, very detailed in the work he did. He is a perfectionist and it shows. Through this rain season we have not had any roof issues or leaks whatsoever. He is honest and trustworthy. My husband and I feel comfortable with him working and doing repairs (he has done several different repairs for us) while me and my children are home alone.

We have two large pane windows in the back of our house. They were designed very poorly water runds down and the wood keeping the glass panels in place was rotted and the glass was sliding down. Scott removed the glass panels, replaced and painted all wood around it. Put them back and left everything around it (the inside and out of the house) looking as if he was never there. He did a fabulos job! My husband is a perfectionist, and so is Scott. So my husband was really pleased. Scott takes pride in his work. His craftsmanship was evident in this job.
