All Repairs by Scott LLC

We have an aluminum patio roof that is comprised of several large interconnected panels. During heavy rain, water was leaking through the panel seams. I tried repairing the roof myself a couple times without success. I contacted Scott Meahl due to his positive reviews and roofing experience. Scott arrived at our home at the scheduled time to inspect our patio roof. I showed Scott were the leaks were coming from and without delay, he was on the roof evaluating the problem. Scott's knowledge about roofing was evident as he explained to me what I was doing wrong and how to fix the leaky roof. Scott quoted me a fair price to fix the leaks and started the project that day. Fortunately the heavy rain subsided in a couple days from the very wet weather we were experiencing and Scott was back on the job to seal our patio roof. A couple days later the heavy rain returned to South Florida and our patio remained dry. Thank you Scott for your roofing knowledge and hard work. It is much appreciated.

Scott was honest with the work and completed the job quickly and with integrity. I was worried we were going to have to dish out over $1000 dollars and to find out we were going to be saving a lot of money. If you want your job to be done right and at a great rate, call Scott.

It couldn't have gone better. I thought I would have the difficult expense to replace the pump. Scott came over within a day and opened up the pump and determined a part that needed to be replaced. He showed me how to do it if I wanted to do it myself so I could save money. He also offered to do it for a reasonable price if I didn't want to. I chose to do it myself and sure enough, I did it wrong. So, I called Scott again to come see what had happened. He was there again within a day and found my error and made it right. He also offered lots of free advice which is much appreciated. Again, for a reasonable price. There's no question that I'll take advantage of his services again.

I used him before and my first experience was an "A". He made an appointment and I texted him to remind him. He said he'll call me back in 3 days. I left a voicemail as well. Been texting him and he never responded, never got in touch with me.

Scott is very responsive, punctual and professional. His did a professional job at a very reasonable price. We actually had called another roofer who kept promising to show and after a week of promises never showed or returned my calls. The roof was repaired for $600.00 + $269.00 for supplies and the Drywall was repaired in 2 different places for $235.00 which included supplies. I would definitely hire Scott again. We are actually going to use him for other upcoming projects. It is so refreshing to have someone who actually shows up and does the job right.

Scott is very experienced with roof repairs and deserves every dollar having to work in the hot sun. His price was only 1/3 of other roofers' quotes that pay Angie's to be on the first page!

Scott does good work and is honest. It did take a few weeks to complete the work but that was due to it raining everyday in south Florida and Scott needing to prioritize more severe jobs for other clients over mine. This did not bother me because our job was not critical. Both the wife and I are extremely happy with the work he did and would use him again.

Excellent. Scott performed the repair in a single day, and was both affordable and flexible. He also replaced two shingles torn up by Hurricane Irma, re-sealed my porch roof, and cleared out the gutter. (Remember, this was for a "soffet repair.") If you need roof repair work (or **** near anything that requires a ladder), call Scott first.

Very nice man and shows up when he says. Was very careful to get all measurements and door alignment perfect. Did a super job on fit and finish including moulding. Very professional as well as a real nice guy. Would hire again any time.

Scott showed up on time for the assessment and emailed me his estimate a day later. We agreed on a start time and he was always prompt and kept me aware of each step as his work progressed. The roof is completed and we could not be more pleased with our experience. We are having him return in a week or 2 to replace a section of fence. ANOTHER A+ RATING for Scott !!

Scott was punctual and got 95% of the job done in one day, which was great considering he had to readjust the gate twice due to logistical and technical issues, and having to wait for post concrete to dry and further realignment of one post. He and his assistant worked hard and efficiently from early morning until the sun set under the watchful eye of my paranoid neighbors and myself. He did a great job adding wood bracing to my old fence gate and realigning it to move smoothly, setting multiple 8 foot posts and reattaching my old fence, and also setting a post for my vinyl fence, which was a chore given its proximity to the seawall. They brought all of the supplies with them which saved me a run to the hardware store. I paid half of the labor up front and all of the material cost up front, and the rest upon completion. price below reflects materials and labor. Day #2 was mainly for cleanup and fine tuning the fence. Great job guys, I will definitely hire Scott again.

Nothing was done as agreed upon. Didn’t keep the times that he agreed upon. Ended up costing me $1370 more then he quoted me and the work that is away from street view looks shoddy. How do you replace a roof and leave the damaged soffits? After he got the additional money he said he needed he left and did not return or answer the phone for two weeks. His two week end job went on for close to 6 weeks. I get angry every time I look at my roof. If you use this guy have witnesses or tape your conversations cause he will deny he said it. I.e. quoted me $350-400 for materials said it was closer to $700; quoted me a price of $2100-2200 for my roof and $2370 later the roof looks unappealing I have a trash pile of rotted wood in my yard paid $200 for wood that he didn’t buy or use. Most unprofessional business management receipts and invoice could come from anywhere and he wrote the most convoluted “contract” ever. The only good thing is my roof isn’t leaking and I was only in the hotel for five weeks instead of the two he said it would take to fix the roof.

Great. I referred Scott to my mom after he did a fence repair for me. Two other roofers tried, and failed, to repair the shingle roof. Scott fixed at, at a reasonable price.

All new under-deck supports & framing were built and securely attached to the seawall and the pilings. Onto this was built a new deck from 50 12' 2x6s. Overall quality, workmanship and appearance is very good. This project did require skills and knowledge beyond the norm for most handymen and this was reflected in their labor rate, but was well worth it for a job that needed to be done right and look right. You should expect to buy all materials needed and to pay for labor daily - not really problems as this ensures there is no mark-up on purchased supplies and no worries of slow-walking the job to increase labor costs as the overall project labor is estimated and agreed before work commences. Responsiveness and project timeline were great. Job was completed less than 2 weeks after initial contact, while actual work time was about 3 days. First day was for tear-down and all long boards were cut-down to < 6' and stacked neatly on the swale for bulk pick-up. Re-constructing the dock took about two days, one to rebuild the under-deck support structures and one for mounting the new deck boards. I am happy with the workmanship and am enjoying my new dock. Scott and his assistant did a great job (many thanks!).

Scott does excellent work. Fixed leak and repaired cement tile roof better than new. Scott removed the old tiles then set down a new membrane to thoroughly fix the leak. He then put down new cement tiles over the area and painted them with a silicon sealer. Scott also adjusted my gutters so that they would drain better. Very happy with his quality of work, would definitely recommend Scott if you need roof repaired.
