I called James to come out and give me a quote, he came out within a day to give me a quote and started a week later. His price was fair, although he did change the rate once he was out as he had to do extra work. It didn't increase by a lot and he did inform me that the rate could increase depending on what he found when he opened up the wall. His work looks good and I would recommend him to others and i would use him again.

James Lovett came when he said he would. He worked neatly, he did not hurt any plantings in the yard. He even tried to keep working during a thunder storm. But the rain was too hard. He covered the entire area with a tarp. He returned the next day and completed the job. I was extremely satisfied and would not hesitate to call him again if needed.

Overall, happy with the work. He did a good job matching the new stucco texture to the old one. He was not very knowledgeable in pulling permit procedure and cost estimate. He increased the price twice in mid work.

I called James Lovett for a quote and he came the next day to look at my house and give me a price. Within a few days he arrived to repair all of the areas on my house that needed stucco work. I was so pleased with the quality of his stucco work that I decided to have James and his crew paint the exterior of my house. They pressure washed my house, plus my driveway and sidewalks. The painter really took his time and did a wonderful job. He even helped me pick colors when I couldn't decide. My house looks better than it ever has and I have received so many compliments from my neighbors. His prices are good and the quality of work is amazing. James is very friendly and nice to work with. He takes pride in the quality his work. They cleaned up every day so we barely knew they were here working. I would definietly work with James again in the future and I highly recommend James Lovett and All New Look Plastering and Painting.

I have hired lots of trade persons to do work on many projects in the past as I have re designed two hotels and several botique apartment bldgs. The person I had used in the past was not available so I checked Angie's List for a new person. Normally this is a roll of the dice to find a decent trades person, but this time I hit the best. James did such a good job the other trade people on the project were so impressed that they wanted to know "who did this wonderful job". I don't know how anyone could find a plaster man that could do a better job. He will be #1 on my list for plaster work.

James did a great job. We are happy with his stucco work on the fascia and soffit. My husband had asked him to do a little extra work around our door which he did for a nominal fee. We would definately use him again.

James Lovett and his workers came when they said they would. showed up every morning at 8:00 till work was finished. If I saw something I wanted touch up on they immediately fixed it. I was very happy with their work and would definitely recommend them.

We would highly recommend James. He showed up on time, worked hard, and stayed late each evening to get our house done. He took the extra time to do the job right. He even fixed a crack that had been missed during his initial estimate, and he did not charge us extra. He took care to protect our pavers with tarps, and he left his work site clean (including taking out our garbage for us).

A very good experience. James is an extremely hard worker. He showed up when he said he would and worked until sundown. The job took 3 days. I live on a zero lot line, so he was working on my neighbors property. He was pleasant, professional, and neat. His cleanup was so good that you didn't even know he was there. My neighbor was thrilled! I had a leak into my garage whenever it rained. I thought it was coming from the cracked stucco outside the house. After James started removing the stucco it was apparent that the leak was coming from where the 2nd story meets the 1st. He went all the way up to the 2nd story, replaced the water damaged beam,cemented the area, replaced the exterior and interior wall, and replaced the stucco. It was a lot of work and he did a great job. No more leak! I have another leak on the opposite wall and have asked James to fix that also. Will keep you posted.

James responded to my call, showed up as promised to give me an estimate. He showed up with his crew to do the work on the date promised, on time, and finished the job in three days. His workers were skilled, James performed a lot of the work himself. They cleaned up every day and left the place looking good. They were very professional.

James did a wonderful job and made the house like new. He was prompt, professional and easy to talk to when he described what needed to be done. He always did what he said he would do and when he said he would do it. Even my neighbors complimented on how well he did the job as it was going on. I will definitely use James again and heartily recommend him based on the work he did for me.

While chipping away the old stucco James noticed a potential issue that was outside the scope of work he was hired to perform. I appreciated that James brought the issue to my attention and provided solutions rather than simply cover it up without informing me. The quality of his work was excellent. He protected my sliding glass doors and patio with tarps while he was working. He thoroughly cleaned the work area when the job was complete. Highly recommended!

We highly recommend James Lovett. He exceeded our expectations with the high quality of his work and his attention to detail. We could see right away that James took a lot of pride in his work. As he explained how the work would be done and then executed the job it was obvious that he only wants to give you the best quality. If you require stucco repairs, James is your man. James and his crew are true craftsmen. Having construction experience, I am self sufficient when it comes to home repairs. Stucco happens to be out of my realm, therefor, I had no choice in calling someone. I am picky and very critical of people's work. Even though he is hard at work, he found the time to talk to me and stop by promptly for an estimate. Also, a big plus, you get someone that speaks English.

Mr. James "The Stucco Man" did an excellent job. A true professional and knows what he is doing. He left the area where he worked cleaner then when he started. He protected the floors and childrens toys in the work area, which I really appreciated. I lucked out finding him and he is definately my go to man when it comes to Stucco.

Mr. James is the real deal! He is a very honest and humble man and when he says he takes pride in his work he really does. He came out to give me a quote and while we were talking out front a snake went into my garage and he stopped what he was doing to get it out for me. (Since I am in a wheelchair) Originally he was just going to cover up the brick with stucco and put bands around three of my windows. He stated to me that he didn't trust the brick that was there so he was going to go ahead and chip it all off and do the job right. This extra labor was not foreseen or quoted in the price but like he said when he does the job he wants to do it right. When the job was done there wasn't one spot that he had to go back and redo because he did it great the first time. I promise you will not be disappointed with his craftsmanship. Also after the job was done I made a new friend, he has some great stories and just a genuine hard-working man.

Job was completed to my satisfaction.

If you need stucco repair, or your homes stucco redone, call James with new look stucco and plaster. I contacted New Look Stucco and Painting, which I found on Angies List, and we scheduled a time for him to give me a quote. I walked him around the house, showed him the areas that I knew were an issue, he saw a few things which he pointed out and explained to me how it ended up happening, and I asked for a quote to get all the stucco fixed / repaired, and paint. After seeing everything, he gave me a quote which was a good price, and I asked him if that was for a "GOOD" job, or if it was just a quick fix / paint and move on. James was quick to explain to me that he doesn't take short cuts, and that the price he gave me was for a good solid job, and boy was he right. He started out by pressure cleaning the house bare, and got to work with the stucco. He spent two days just tearing out areas that were no longer solid, breaking the stucco off and leaving bare wood / concrete in a lot of areas, if it was only a little loose he took it off (no shortcuts). I couldn't believe the amount of my house that was bare, and was amazed that he found all of this on his own and took the time to make sure he fixed it. By the time James was done removing old stucco from the house, there was about twice the work I originally though there would be. When James would find a really bad area, he would be sure to show me what he found, and tell me why it got like that and how I could prevent it in the future (re-route drainage, add concrete footer, etc)... about 1/2 way through the job I asked how we where doing on the price and he told me that he gave me a quote and he was still working on that price, but that he did find more than he was anticipating. His skill with stucco is amazing, a couple of times I would go outside and talk with him while he was doing the stucco, and he made it look so easy I couldn't believe it. Anyway, in the end, the house (built in 1955) looks better than I've ever seen it, and probably more solid than it was even when new. James did things that we didn't discuss in the quote and I hadn't asked for, like building the stucco out on the step outside the sliding glass doors, 24 feet worth, to make them even all the way accross and straight, and climbing up on the roof and repairing some of the stucco on the chimeney. I've used a lot of tradesman over the last 10 years remodeling the inside and outside of my house, and have never found someone to do work that I thought gave me way more quality work than I paid for until now. If you need repairs on the outside of your house, or you want the whole house restucco'd, New Look Stucco and Painting is the one you should go with. He is a good guy, enjoyable to talk to, and gives you good quality work for your money. Trust me, he is well worth giving a call.

I have had problems with the stucco on my house for a number of years. The key problem with the stucco has been due to the use of poor materials and poor workmanship when my house was originally constructed. I had a number of companies come by and provide estimates of the repair work, which essentially entailed the knocking down of the existing stucco, re-applying stucco ( properly this time ) and re-painting the exterior wall. All of the possible contractors came from my research on Angie?s list. Most of the contractors I contacted, pre-diagnosing the issue and recommending solutions. Some of the contractors I contacted never even returned my calls. When they did come by to look at my wall, the prices were shocking. James Lovett (New Look Plastering & Painting Inc) came by and gave me an honest assessment of the damage he saw and provided me with an estimate of the work that needed to be completed. He then showed up on the date that was scheduled and began work on time. He worked around the weather, dodging rain showers and getting the work completed on time. When the damage inside the wall exceeded his original estimate, I never felt as if I was being ?taken for a ride?. James? explanation justified the need for additional materials. I spent about $6000 or $7000 on that service. They were excellent. They were very thorough, very clean and they did a good job.
