Mr. Lovett is very professional and knows what he is doing. He came out on short notice to give me a quote which I appreciated. He did a great job repairing window ledges, adding stucco and then painting the new plaster to match my existing color on our house and trim. He is very thorough and cleans up after the work. I could not be happier with the work he did.

James was professional and got back to us right away. Quoted a price we were very happy with since others never got back to us, we gave him the job. We trust the reviews we read on Angies list so we knew it would be fine. He gave us a starting date that he kept to and refused any money upfront until he was about half way done. He wanted us happy and we were. The work was professional, friendly and we trusted him to come and go as he needed. He added wood where needed and charged us minimal as he had some on hand. We now have a beautiful new ceiling, outdoors, where raccoons and rats were getting in. Very happy and satisfied. Would hire him again in a minute for more work as we need it.

We hired James Lovett to remove paneling and to plaster the walls and ceiling in one of our bedrooms. James’ work was professional and of the highest quality. He finished the job in a timely fashion, and he was careful to thoroughly clean up after he finished. We would hire him again for future projects.

Excellent. James dug everything out, addressed the water problem, re-stuccoed, sealed it up and painted the metal support beam. The work turned out to be a bit more involved than we first thought, so we agreed to a slight price increase, which was fine. All of the work was very professionally done. He also power-washed the sides and back of the home

James worked very hard to get my home looking like a new house on the outside. He came everyday until the job was done. He is very experienced and pleasant to work with.

He said he would be out to fix the repair and never showed up. He also did not respond back when I tried to contact him.

After having had hurricane shutters removed from all the windows of my home, I hired James to do the patchwork. He was careful to fill in all the holes with cement and remove existing nails before applying stucco to surrounding areas. He noticed several unfinished areas around the perimeter of the house as well as the front door landing and fixed these without charging me extra. I would recommend James to anyone who needs stucco work done. He is a hard worker and does a fine job.

James Lovett repaired cracks with reinforcing mesh screen and replastered areas. Also, he placed plaster along the space between our garage's cement slab floor and the settling asphalt driveway without even asking! It looks much better now. We finally painter the planter boxes with the paint he recommended and it all looks great.

I have been a home owner for 30 years, and James is the only contractor I have hired on the spot. I could tell from talking to him that he takes much pride in his work, and will do what needs to be done to make your home look the best. He did not let me down. He went above and beyond in the initial issues on the house I saw and dealt with some structural cracks and other areas I didn't know about. I removed wood paneling on my newly purchased house (house from the 70's) and it was unfinished underneath the paneling. I hired James to stucco these unfinished portions. His quote was in line with other quotes received (it was initially a little high but he brought it down), and he had great reviews, so i hired him. I was not disappointed. James had stated that he usually does not stucco how the rest of the house was done, but that he could match it. James was able to match the stucco with the rest of the house perfectly. He also put a border around my garage that looks great. James worked hard and finished in a reasonable amount of time and cleaned up when he left. He was a pleasure to work with. He also has great stories and has led a pretty interesting life. I definitely recommend James for any stucco work you need done.

James Lovett, the Owner, arrived on-time, prepared to do the job if an agreement could be met on price, we did. Though my walls were drywall, they are now plastered. Mr Lovett ripped out the damaged drywall area, applied bonding agents, a scratch coat, and several finish coats to get the walls to a smooth texture. Unlike a skim coating process, this process requires NO sanding, except some minor touch ups once the walls are primed. Looks great, very pleased.

He was punctual and did very high quality work on some difficult to match stucco detail.

I called James about a quote on some stucco work and exterior house painting and he came over the same night after work. He was on time and I had a good feeling from him the moment I met him. We walked around the house where I pointed out what I thought needed to be done and he pointed out many other areas that needed stucco repair. He gave us a quote but we had a corner of the house that was crumbling and he said that depending on what he found once he got to that part, it could add a little more to the price. He said that once the house was pressure washed, other fine cracks would appear to repair, and he was right. We discussed the start date and because we were leaving for vacation, we pushed back the start date to when we were back in town so that we could be there at the beginning of the job (and have time to move our tortoise enclosure away from the back wall so he could work). He started on Aug. 25 and finished Oct. 4. When he started, I asked him if he wanted some money up front and he said not yet, he would let me know when he needed me to give him some. Now that is quite trusting! We did discuss when he would need some money for materials and that he would need about 1/2 close to the start of the stucco work and when he wanted the rest. James worked during the rain, he worked late nights and one night during the pressure washing stage he was even there until about 9pm! He laid out tarps and wood and cleaned up every night before he left. While pressure washing the house, he went above and beyond and pressure washed our awning! He primed the house, did 2 coats of house paint one color, 3 exterior doors a second color and painted all the trim a third color. The house looks great! He would call when he was going to be late and when he couldn?t make it because of other quotes or jobs he had to tend to. I was very impressed with how communicative he was. I would see him when I got home from work and we would chat a little bit. I felt like I really got to know him and feel like he could be my older brother, he was that kind. He said he used to have a team of people who worked for him but that he couldn?t always find good help. James did all the work on our place himself. This did result in him working at our place for over a month (on and off, depending on the weather and other customers) but he was excellent. I highly recommend James. He takes pride in his work. If there is anything in the future I need that he can do, I am definitely calling him back over.
