We had a lot of stress trying to figure out our moving from Florida to NJ, too many phone calls from too many moving companies and then we talked to John and we felt comfortable making a decision and now we know we made the right one. Cornelius and his crew are the best, they did their best to accommodate our needs, they were prompt and courteous and careful handling our stuff. They picked up Thursday in Florida and delivered Sunday in NJ. We could not ask for a better service. Five Stars to Agility.

First let me say that moving a house full of furniture 700 miles on short notice is about as stressful as it gets. I hopped online to research moving companies and and try to obtain some guesstimates. Three companies contacted me within two hours. I spoke to each of them but the one that stood out was Agility. I spoke with a gentleman named Angelo. I say gentleman in the literal sense of the word. This man was patient and very helpful. He was able to spend some time with me on the phone. We discussed the logistics of the move, how he and his company would be handling the entire move from start to finish. He then sent me a detailed written estimate via email that explained the costs and listed each and every item that we were planning on moving. This move was a particularly difficult one for us. The house we are selling is our vacation home and is 700 miles away from where we live. What adds sentiment to this is that my daughter lives in that area and we loved having the house close to her. The saving grace to this is that she has been a huge help. The buyers made us a good offer but want to close in two weeks, on December 23. Scrambling to sort all of this out two weeks before Christmas is crazy. It would be hard enough if we were there but trying to coordinate this long distance was very difficult. After speaking with three different movers, we decided to go with Agility. Most of that reason was because of Angelo himself. I felt very comfortable with him. During one of our conversations he directed me to the Federal Department of Transportation website where I was able to view Agility's records and ratings with the FDOT and that of the other movers we were considering. Agility's ratings and records spoke for themselves. After researching reviews, seeing these records and then getting a written guarantee that I would be allowed to cancel the contract at any time with no cost to me, I was way more than comfortable going with them. As it turns out my wife and I didn't need all of the furniture that we were moving and storing because what we are doing is selling the vacation home in NC, selling our home here in FL, and slightly downsizing into a new, smaller home. With two houses of furniture, wall hangings, and chachkies that won't fit into the new house, my wife wanted just a few select pieces from each house. My daughter took the time to take pictures of what we didn't want up there to post on a couple of local social media sites to see if they would sell. Shockingly, the stuff sold immediately. In fact, she sold most of it in literally two days. Last night she suggested that we sell the rest in a weekend "moving" sale and whatever didn't sell she would take back to her house and try to sell it later when we weren't under the pressure to move out. The few remaining pieces that my wife wanted to keep would go into a storage unit close to our house there and I would move them down the same way I got them up there, via my trailer. So that left me with canceling the contract with Agility. Honestly, I was making the call to Angelo. Let me tell you, he was as nice about refunding my money as he was making the sale. In fact, I hung up the phone with him ten minutes ago. As I am writing this review my email popped up and guess what? He already refunded me my deposit. Folks, let me tell you that as a retired business owner, there has been no better customer service and customer relations than I have experienced with Angelo and Agility. If you are considering a move, whether it be long distance or local, you would be doing yourself an injustice if you did not take the time to speak with Angelo. Let me make it easier for you. His phone number is (954) 533-3197, extension 5007.

Moving in general is stressful. We moved from Ohio to Florida. Agility Van lines where professional from the first contact with Angelo with our estimate. Shane was great with emailing and calling to calm my nerves about pick up. The pick up and delivery crew of Alex, Kirk and Damion where so great to work with. They were professional, hardworking, and the communication of pick up and deliver was excellent. They went the extra mile to assure our move was successful and less stressful. We would highly recommend using this company.

They were on time. They packed my furniture quickly and drove 11 hours to the next stop and unloaded the furniture in the afternoon. Job well done. No complaints at all. Their staff stayed in touch with me prior to the move day finalizing all the details. Nothing was scratched or broken during the move.

Horrible. Worst experience of my life. Lies, Lies and more lies from the owner Shane. loaded my posessions and was to deliver in 2-3 days and I had to be at the new location when they arrived. I flew to Florida to be there and they didn't arrive or call. When I finally got through to them, they lied and said my things would be there in a few days. Well, finally after 25 days they arrived and demanded more money. I had to live for 25 days without clothes, medicine or any possessions because I trusted them to keep their word and deliver in 2-3 days. When my furniture arrived, it was broken, scratched and some missing. It seemed to me that they deliberately had caused all the damage. The men piled all the boxes into my garage and left. They brought in my antique furniture crushed and broken. Irreplaceable furniture. I am devastated. Worst stressful time of my life.

I am reviewing as the representative of my grandmother. She moved from Ohio to Florida in the past week. The movers arrived a day later than we were told. You can’t get ahold of anyone after hours at Agility, so when we realized they weren’t coming the day we expected them, we couldn’t reach anyone for help. When we finally got a call back, and after playing phone tag for several hours with Jimmy and Shane, who were both rude and not helpful, we just had to wait until someone finally showed up. She had paid a $1400 deposit to book the truck. She had to provide a cashiers check for roughly $1600 upon loading the truck, which was to be half of the remaining balance. They came with a 26 foot box truck to load a 3 bedroom house. Then they inform us that she actually only gets 1100 square feet of the truck, and her belongings took up 1700 square feet, so what began as $1600 owed at delivery became $3138. That said, the movers who came were both amazing. They were hardworking, courteous, professional, and treated her belongings with respect. I cannot say enough great things about these 2 young men. They loaded the truck over a 2 day period. Zero problems, zero concerns about their work. They left the house in Ohio the morning of July 2nd, saying that it would take approximately 2 days to deliver as it is a 14 hour drive, but they have a 1-5 day delivery window. It even says so on their website. Ok. It is now July 10th (8 days later) and Grandma’s belongings still have not been delivered. Shane states that they put her belongings in a storage warehouse outside of Columbus, which is about 1.5 hours east of here. He states that the delivery guys aren’t authorized to estimate a delivery range... though it clearly states 1-5 days on their website. Their website also states that they will not warehouse your items unless it’s your request. He also has backed up her delivery 3 times... with no end in sight. We’ve had to file police reports in 3 different locations, and have had to get a lawyer to help get her belongings back, because it’s interstate commerce.

The sales process with John was great. He took a detailed inventory of my home and faceted all rooms to make sure we didn't miss anything. Their price was a little higher than others, but he assured me that they would provide a full white glove pack, move, and unpack with direct delivery and guaranteed arrivals. My experience with John was so good I referred them to another family member and friend who were also moving. What a mistake! I booked the move a month in advance and 2 weeks ahead of time called to confirm dates and offer an earlier arrival if they wanted it. The first problem came when my friend who also hired them called to tell me the movers hadn't showed up yet (2 days late). I called Shane to confirm my dates again (as we had to be out of the house before our close date). Shane confirmed and reassured to us that there would be no problems. Sure enough, the week of the move they called to let us know they would be arriving a day late (which turned into two). When they did arrive, they showed up with less people than were planned and in a truck that obviously wasn't going to fit my 4 bedroom (with an office and basement home). The movers in the truck agreed with this assessment when they arrived so we called Agility to request reinforcements. Shane assured me they would "fly in additional resources to help" and that there would be no problem getting us out on time. Long story short- They did not finish in time, no resources ever came, and the night before my closing I still had a full truckload of inventory sitting in my garage, and Agilitys only comment was " I can try to get a truck out there in a few days", which was an impossibility with my closing being the next morning. I was furious and let them know this was completely unacceptable. I can't imagine a worse customer service experience than that of Shane the owner. I had to, at my own effort and expense, hire a second moving company the night before my closing , to fix the problems of this company. This was the =worst experience ever. As for my two referrals I gave them, they never showed up to one of the houses and the other had a saimilar nightmare experience as my family. This company is awful, the service is unbelievably bad, and you will be disappointed. Run AWAY!!!! (The only redeeming quality was that the two poor gentlemen who did show up to pack (Duke and Roviel) were incredibly nice and workhorses). But let me be clear- their attributes do not make up for the most awful moving experience I could ever imagine.

1. I was notified very late Friday June 7th that the move would not take place on June 8th as I originally requested but on the 9th. I actually had to call John at 3pm that day to confirm and received a late voice mail 2-3 hrs later. 2. The crew was late arriving on 9th June and I understand it was due to the weather but still after 5pm on 9 June. I was very understanding about this until the driver knit picked me about whether the picture frames were included in the inventory or not. Because of this delay we had to scramble to make a change in our accommodations resulting in late cancellation charges outlined below. 3. The crew could not finish the job the night of 9 June, understandably, but then told us that they would be at the house the next morning at 7am. We were there at 7am and by 8am they had not showed up so I called them. The foreman sounded annoyed that I was even calling him and told me he could not tell me when he will arrive. Finally, they arrived after 9am. 4. When I complained to Shane about this he felt that I was "knit picking" and that he could not do anything to help me and could not "talk to [me] any more" or did not want to talk to me about the issue. He was insensitive to the difficulties we were having and lacked professionalism. 5. Although I asked the foreman politely to use runners to prevent damage to the floor, the foreman only used them during the second day of packing at my insistence. This lack of concern for the possibility of damage to the property was evident also by other observations listed below. 6. After packing the truck, the foreman and the crew left without allowing us to make a final review of the house or being able to confirm what the approximate delivery date would be in order to adjust our schedules and hotel reservations. Literally, it seemed that they were running away from us to avoid any further contact. They left us holding items that we wanted to put on the truck. 7. There was no inventory of any items that were packed. Therefore, there is no way of knowing whether all the items were delivered. Again, in my many moves, the movers have always prepared an inventory of all the items the put in the truck and go through the list. 8. As a result of the lack of communication and delays outlined above we had to do a late cancellation in Savannah Georgia and in Miami, FL. 9. I asked for a full packed move. The industry standard from my 5 full moves in the military is that if the movers pack, they unpack. In addition, I have also confirmed this from internet reports about the expectations from a full pack move ([*** Link removed ***] When I complained to John about this he told me that the crew cannot "decorate" my house for me. This again reflects a lack of sensitivity for the customer's expectations. That comment to me was quite frankly insulting. 10. The two young assistants were on the phone constantly while packing and delivering the items which did not give me the assurance that they were paying attention to what they were doing. In fact, I observed them throwing box springs around on top of the frame. 11. One very expensive rug arrived wet and one of the boxes was wet and had dried up. This means that their trucks leak. I also observed when they arrive for the pickup that they had wet cardboard boxes and I was assured that they would not used wet cardboard boxes. 12. When I requested a refund for the late cancellations I was given a "settlement letter" asking that I submit no review in exchange for the money. I did not feel that was ethical. However, I still feel that a refund is the least they could do for me. Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing and I feel the whole organization lacks professionalism and dedication to customer service. This lack of professionalism comes from the top and is reflected at the lowest levels of the organization.

We had a signed contract with Agility on June 3rd, 2019. Our move was to occur on 6/19 or 6/20. They wanted the flexibility to arrange their logistics. As the move became closer and closer I left numerous voice mails and emails for them to contact us to get a final move out date. Two days before our earliest move date (that they provided) we received a call from the owner at 10:00pm telling us they could not get a truck to us and we would have to make other arrangements. this was the most unbelievable scenario one could imagine. The phone call from the owners perspective was professional because "at least he told us". Despite their "professional" phone sales people, promises and signed contract and showing up on Angie's list I strongly urge you to not work with this company. What a complete disaster. Many ratings on google and Angie's list were strongly favorable towards this company. Our experience was completely lacking in professionalism, accountability, and morality. what a horrible experience.

This company was dishonest about the service they could perform and then had horrible communication. Then condescendingly offered a blow up mattress and 200 dollars off the price while I still don't have my items 4 days after they where supposed to arrive. I consider them stolen at this point. Do not let this happen to you. Do not fall for the lies of the salesman.

If one were looking for a great mover to do a quality job i would not reccomend agility van lines, my move was from Maine to New Smyrna Beach, Fl. Although they claim to accept credit cards, my wife was forced to go get a postal money order upon pickup which in Maine was quite far away. The two gentlemen who showed up reaked of body odor and did not provide us with the rights and responsibilites handook for movers which is a federal guideline. The people who both picked up and dropped off my goods were not employees of Agility, or even the same individuals. The goods were transferred in boston into another truck, and sat not in transit for over a week. the vehicle that showed up was an antiquated allied van lines truck which had been crudely painted over with orange spray paint not a cleanly letter agility vehicle as is on their website. When i was called by their employees post move they offered me nothing for violating this federal law, providing the rights and responsibilites of a mover, which is designed to inform you of what to expect from the moving process. This document would have provided me with the knowledge neccesary to combat my lack of communication etc i received while my goods were in transit. I only got a response from managment after threatening to report my goods stolen to the police. Save yourself the trouble and call somebody else, anybody who honors what they say on their website(accepts credit cards) and federal guidelines(booklet)... Im going to contact the federal trade commision and the attorney general of florida in the hopes of preventing this experience for other unfortubate customers. I have yet to attain any compensation or apology from this company.
