Steve was punctual, very nice and quickly fixed two issues we had; repaired Chaise and stained a coffee able corner where our Doberman had chewed.

He did a beautiful job, as always. He has repaired approximately 10 antique pieces for me; chairs, wash stand, tables, etc.

We've had two matching Ethan Allen recliners in our living room for 20 years that we love. The flip up foot rest wouldn't fold in cause of a broken frame. Steve came in, on time, took the chair part and had it back in less than the 2-3 weeks he told us. On the return visit for reassembly, I needed him to come early at 730am so I could get to work on time. He came 10 min sooner, which turned out great cause I had to leave sooner than expected. Left the place clean, tidied up. Good guy.

Steve couldn't find the crack in the wood, but he did make the sofa sturdier and I was good with that, however, I would have liked him to actually find the crack. He charged me $225 to reinforce a sofa I just bought for $400. It took him approximately one hour to complete the job. I'm an attorney and I only charge $200 per hour. He actually said that he was giving me a discount. He is a very nice and punctual guy.

Did a good job but I would never hire again because his prices were outrageous. Even charged my helper $20 to fix a tiny crack.

Stephen repaired a damaged headboard. He did a great job. He made a second trip out just to make sure I was completely satisfied with the finish. There was some difficulty with the lacquer taking hold but he managed to work his magic!

Excellent job! Made the initial visit and gave an estimate of 10 days to complete as he would have to take the mirror to his shop for repair. He provided a separate price for repairing the mirror and adding the casters. We opted for both items. He was on time to the initial visit and very polite! He took the mirror to his shop and re-glued the frame and reattached the wooden back of the mirror and called us after 5 days to arrange a delivery of the mirror and install the casters. Again, he was on time & very polite. The mirror looks great! I will call him again if I need repairs. I was pleased with the work and the way we were treated.

Steve did a great job of cleaning and restoring the finish on 5 Thomas Moser chairs, a Moser sideboard and table (none of which had been restored since they were new 25 years ago), and an early 19th century rosewood chest. His work is meticulous and precise. The furniture was transformed

Steve was great- he made every effort to get out to me very quickly, and was great at keeping in touch until he was able to come for an estimate. My door was back to me within a week, and although he was ran a little late, Steve called me during the originally scheduled window to let me know that he was running a bit behind. I thought that the price was a little bit high, but I did not receive any other estimates so it may have been competitive without me knowing; overall, the door turned out perfectly and I would definitely call again if needed.

Steve enthusiastically and meticulously saved the 18th century china cabinet that nearly collapsed after our move. He is a true professional and is passionate about woodwork. He took the top of the cabinet to his shop and 8 days later returned with the restored and greatly strengthened piece. He then reassembled the cabinet. He also saved (and beautifully polished) a three tiered table, the wheels of which were holding on my threads of screws. Lastly he reassembled a mid-19th century secretary, repaired some veneer and brought it back to life. I have other projects for Steve and am looking froward to having him revitalize some more of my furniture.

Steve was punctual and to the point; he examined the furniture and informed us that the damage was not repairable. His response was forwarded to the company from whom we purchased the item.

He was great. It was refreshing when he did what he said. (Showed up on time, called when he said he would, etc.) Went above and beyond. Even helped me move the large top part from the garage to the office so it could be installed after his repairs were finished. The work was affordable and he was trustworthy. Unless you're afraid of someone that looks like Woody Allen and must communicating by email, he is the right choice.

We have four captain?s chairs that are 55 years old. Over the years the finish aged with dirt and old varnish. We called Steve Turok at AAA Furniture Hospital. We left a message and Steve called back within a couple of hours and arranged for a time to look at the chairs. He called the day before to confirm and arrived on time. We talked about the options. He gave us an estimate and arranged a time to do the work. He called the day before the appointed day to confirm and again was on time. Steve did excellent work. The chairs look great and we are extremely pleased with the results. I suspect we could have found someone to do the work at a lower price but he quality of the work and our satisfaction level is well worth the cost. We would certainly use him again for any future furniture repairs and would recommend him to others. Thanks Steve.

Steven did a great job repairing the base of my dining table, reinforcing it, and went so far as to reinforce the workmanship of the manufacturer of this base. He was professional and punctual, calling the day before our appointment to confirm and I also appreciated that on the day of the scheduled repair job, he called to let me know he was on his way. I had a chair with a broken spring that I asked him about repairing as he was packing up to go. It was no problem. He repaired it expertly and pleasantly right on the spot.

Mr. Turok did an amazing job repairing the damage. You can't even see where the damage was after it was repaired. Good quality and profesionalism. Will definitely use his service again if needed.

We called several weeks ago and the provider returned the call promptly. He would have come to our house to pick up the chairs but we felt we could transport them down to his office which we did. He was delightful to talk to but even better he did a great job and had the chairs ready for us when we returned from vacation today. We didn't compare prices with anyone else but we were so happy with the work, his responsiveness and availability, we felt we were ready to go with him no matter what. I have an expensive sofa bed that had been damaged during two moves. The damage assessor sent by the moving company told me that it couldn?t be fixed. I called AAA Furniture Repair Service and they made a timely appointment and showed up on time, calling to let me know the ETA. Steven did a great job assessing the problem, explaining what had to be done, and executing quickly. I will definitely call them again if I need any furniture repairs.

I called and left a message, believing it would be some time before I received a call back I put the phone down going about my day. to my surprise when I checked the phone a gentleman by the name of Steve had called immediately after I had hung up, leaving a message and explaining he was out in the field and would try back at a particular time, by the time my second voice message began to play it was him again at the time the first message said he would try back informing me that he would call the following morning and like clockwork he did. When speaking to Steve I explained that I lived in an unincorporated portion of my city he advised that he doesn't usually travel so far but for a Angie's list customer he would be more than happy to do so. We schedule an appointment for the following Friday between 9-12 for which he was prompt. Upon his visit he realized that he never walked with some needed parts to repair the drawers, but this was due in part to my not describe the problem to him correctly over the phone so he would have to make a second trip out in order to correct the problem, that is why for those who are wondering the cost was in the 300$ price range. Steve was so great he looked at all the other drawers in the house stating if he's already here and he's only charging for the trip more or less let him take a look and come back and repair everything one shot saving me any future trip cost. This gentleman is so professional and considerate of ones time that he called a half an hour before he was to arrive for our second appoint to inform me that he was still about 20 mins out and wanted to apologize because he would be late, he showed 5 mins late not late at all but was very apologetic. He repaired the drawers on my 15 year old solid oak armoire not just putting on new tracks but going the extra mile to add to the existing work that he showed me the delivery company never and should have taken care of when I initially purchased the piece. Thrilled because one I didn't want to part with it, and I know no matter how much I searched high and low I would never find a piece like that again. He arrived promptly and really knows his furniture. We thought the chair leg that was broken might not be fixable but he reassured me that it was. He returned the chair one week later and it's beautiful. He also checked all the chairs we have to make certain that none of the legs were lose or broken. I don't hesitate to recommend him. Service was provided in his shop.
