They were honest and told me what the problem was and told me to buy a new washer because the fix was not worth doing. I bought a new washer. They also answered my questions about which washer they recommended. Two very niece guys.

Received a call shortly after posting service request. They had a tech in the area, and said he would call within a 3 hour window. Only one hour later, tech called and said he was on the way. He diagnosed the problem and had job completed within one hour ! Will definitely keep this company in mind for any future repairs.

Very polite/professional. Very efficient at repairing the blocked dryer vent and fixing the washer. Very impressed. Will definitely use this company, again, and highly recommend them.

Two year old refrigerator, and the main control panel went bad. The tech, Washington, was a pleasure to work with. He diagnosed the problem immediately, ordered/installed the part the following day. Washington was very professional, knowledgeable and quite efficient. He arrived on time for both visits. I highly recommend AAA Century for any appliance repair!

The entire experience was Great and they were the most professional service I've experienced. They repaired the refrigerator on the SAME DAY I CALLED! The technician had the parts on his truck, and was able to defrost, and repair, within and hour. They honored the Angie's List $15 discount. The $45 diagnostic fee is worth it because they will be able to repair your appliance and they will deduct the fee from the cost of the repair. Overall, they were a great company to work with.

Washington, the technician, is very professional, personable and thorough in diagnosing the problem. Parts were ordered and installed with a thorough inspection. Washington went above and beyond to ensure there were no leaks in the water lines outside of the refrigerator and helped repair another minor issue. Would not hesitate to hire again.

Came out the day after I called, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and installed when it came in-great!

My fridge had been freezing contents on and off over a year. Recently it became worse, almost everything in my fridge was frozen to some degree. Cans of soda on the top shelf would freeze and explode. I put off calling for repair because I was sure it would be too expensive or I would get ripped off. I was about to just buy a new fridge, but decided to give repair a shot. My fridge is only 5 years old and it seemed wasteful to replace it so soon. AAA sent a technician the day after I called them. He spent about 30 minutes investigating the fridge and looking up info on his phone. Finally he came to the conclusion that the mechanism in the fridge that closes off cold air after target temperature is reached was not closing. He quoted me $280 for parts and labor(including the service call). I was happy that the price was so reasonable. I paid $100 up front and he placed the order for the parts. The following week, I was contacted and told the parts had arrived. A technician came out early on the next day and installed the new parts. He showed me the removed part and how the plastic door mechanism had broken. This took less than 15 minutes and the fridge has been working great ever since(waited a few weeks before reviewing).

My bottom freezer (LG) had frost all over the place inside. The first service man came late. I asked why he didn't call as the company states. He said he sent a text. Well, texting is not calling and I never got a text. (8/15/18) He looked at my freezer and within a minute declared that we must be leaving the door open. I told him that only 2 adults live in my home and and there no children or elderly and we do indeed close the door. He basically told me that he sees these situations all the time and he knew what he was talking about. He suggested we defrost the freezer. We paid the $19.99 and out the door he went. 3 weeks later (9/4/18) after we defrosted the freezer we had the same problem and called again for service. The same service man came. Now he said we needed a new gasket and new rails. He said it would cost me $424. He required a $100 deposit. They do not itemize labor and parts. AAA Century only gives a total price for the job. (This is the main reason I will NEVER call them again.) A few days later I got a call that they had to order parts that were on back order and it now would cost me $100 more and take weeks to get in. He said the job would take 1 - 2 hours. I called and asked that this service man not return for the service when the parts are in and that they would please send someone else. This guy was dismissive and with attitude. (Mardey is his name) So, today (10/5/18) my freezer was repaired. This second man was to be at my home at 9:30. At 8:40 he called and told me he would be at my home in 10 minutes. We had to scramble to empty the freezer. I guess early is good (but is it punctual?) but we thought we had the 40 minutes that in the end we did not! The cost of the repair was to be approx. $630. In addition, the whole job took less than 30 minutes. I thought that that's a lot to pay for the job but their policy is not to break down parts and labor. I called the company to get specific numbers on how they got the dollar amount. I spoke with Missy. (sp?) At first I found her very defensive, then she tried to get me to let her just send an email with the numbers. I said no that I'd rather be able to ask questions on the phone. So she spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me, to her credit. I found her to be curt at first but at the end she seemed more fair to my plight. The biggest problem was that I thought that the first guy was ordering 2 pairs of rails, not one pair. Of course, on my service order invoice it just says rails. I believe that on the invoice they write very general terms with only one dollar amount for the "job" and it is up to you to figure out how much the parts are and how much the labor is. The repair was quoted by the first guy to take 1-2 hours and today it only took 30 mins. max. So, it took from 8/15 to 10/5 to do a 30 minute repair and it cost me $630 of which I do not know the breakdown of parts and labor. This is my first negative review in many years of using Angies List.

At first I was impressed. I called, they came out same day (that afternoon) and took a look. Sort of. Points for picking up the phone and seeing me on the same day. That's where the good news stops. While speaking to the tech I clearly explained specifics: purchase date, warranty info, etc. He indicated that he deals with LG all the time and that they are authorized to repair LG's. Unfortunately, he didn't look at the fridge. He simply listened to my description and wrote up an estimate. Minus one letter grade for not even pulling the **** fridge out. I asked how long it would take to fix and he responded between 2-4 hours. He also said the parts would arrive in 5-10 days and are back ordered, meaning god knows how long. Next, he drops the estimate: $1050 to replace the compressor and filter, add a service port and recharge with refrigerant. Didn't bother separating labor and parts either. So I pulled out my laptop and started digging about online. Turns out yes, parts are generally back ordered. Also turns out that the parts were between $400-$500. He says the cheaper parts are not good product and should be avoided and I get that. What I don't get, is the $125/hr labor charge. So I called up LG, and it turns out this company isn't even at the top of their recommended list. I get 3 other names from the LG web site and set appointments. Every other tech pulled the fridge out, opened the back panel and gave it a thorough inspection, whereas these guys were content to take their service call fee and leave me with an over-inflated estimate without so much as moving the fridge. As of right now the work was awarded to someone else (at half the labor cost) who actually took the time to INSPECT the appliance before handing me a grossly overpriced estimate.

perfect, the tech was correct, however the part was covered under my warranty... so i had to call the manuftr.

The refrigerator was fixed by replacing the cold control. However, the part is available online for about $25 and it took the repairman about 30-45 minutes to do the repair. The charge was $238.50 WITH THE ANGIE's LIST DISCOUNT. This seems to be WAY too much.

Excellent. The technician was honest in that the cost of the repair would be close to replacement. I absolutely recommend them to everyone who needs appliance repair. Very honest!!

We followed his advice and just paid for the diagnostic visit.

After discovering a leak beneath by ice maker and that my fridge/freezer was not cooling properly, I called AAA Century Appliance. The repair person came out the same day and was able to diagnose and repair the problem for what I believe was a reasonable price very quickly--well under an hour. I was very satisfied with my experience, and am happy to have an excellent appliance repair company to turn to the next time I have an issue.

My fridge decided I needed a baby pool in my kitchen, so it sprung a leak in the water filter casing and continued to **** water even after I turned it off and unplugged it and shut the water off. I called and had a gentleman out the next day. He didn't had to order the part so it took 2 more days to get it but was back and got everything taken care of 2 days later and it is working perfectly. The service was great. The gentleman was very helpful and got everything taken care of and cleaned up

The tech came to diagnose the problem with the washer machine and told us it couldn’t be repaired. No charges

Fast smooth efficent and professional

Discovered my fridge/freezer wasn’t cooling at 10pm at night. Sent out a broadcast for recommendations and AAA Century was on the list. Put in an appointment request, got an early morning call back and they had immediate availability. Appointment coordinator and technician were professional and friendly. Will keep them in my “Rolodex” for the future!

Washington, our technician was a real pro and went out of his way to see that the appliances were fixed properly. He had to order a number of parts to fix the wine cooler. When one would arrive, he would come out and put it in then he would check back to see if that fixed the problem. He did this a number of times and other than the first visit, they never charged for additional service calls to fix the problem. Since the wine cooler was an obscure brand and there was little to no factory support he had to just try different part replacements till he found the right one. Can't say enough good things about AAA Century Appliance. Going forward, they will be the one I will call.
