Description of Work: We had a small leak in the roof over our dining room and had 4 companies come out to give us repair estimates. They ranged from $600 to 1,200 to repair the leak. Lloyd Dean from Better Builders then came out and examined the problem. He determined that the leak was from a previous small patch job that was now leaking and he fixed it with some tar. FOR FREE!! He would NOT charge us. The roof has been great ever since. We recommended him highly for his skill, promptness, and honesty and will hire him for bigger jobs when we need one.. Great job!

Description of Work: Workers replaced carport roof and woodrot underneath, made improvements on wood that was already there by cutting it properly in the front of the carport. Workers accidentally took handrails off lower deck (the boss meant them to do upper deck) but they were replaced the next day free of charge, with apologies - and they looked better than the warped ones the took off! For no additional charge, Lloyd Dean rebuilt the fencing along the edges of the master deck to code so it was a safe area. Master deck off bathroom roof was redone with an improved surface and color, now it is a safe and inviting space to be when weather permits! In addition, Lloyd Dean offered to fix a few damaged shingles on the roof that Apache roofing (who did our main roof two years ago) refused to fix because they said it was caused by a rodent or tree branch but not from faulty construction. Mr. Dean kindly did this for no extra charge. I couldn't have been happier with the work, professionalism, kindness, and clean up that this company did. I would highly recommend them!

+ -1 moreUpon introducing himself, he gave a firm handshake and a kind smile. He was very honest regarding what he saw wrong and what could be wrong once starting the tear off. I felt when he left he was very professional and most of all HONEST!! He did a wonderful job. I have absolutely no complaints regarding this company. I know that it is hard to believe that there would be no complaints, but at least give this company a chance for an appraisal. I have already hired him for a indoor remodeling job I have.
Description of Work: I had my roof totally replaced. Complete roof tear-off x 2 layers of roofing. Replaced all bad plywood. Installed tar paper, reflashed, replaced sewer gas pipe covering. Installed new entire roof with architectural shingles by himself. Installed ridge vents. Removed all debris (including dumpster used during work). Left site/area in same shape prior to work.
