Accu-Temp

The service was excellent. They were excellent. I was very happy with the service. I had asked him at that time to give me the length of time. I knew it was an old air conditioner and so he told me about it. I asked him for the square-footage and stuff approximately to replace my air conditioner and also they would need to add some duct system work in there, and he was happy to do that at the time.

The service turned out fine. We were very happy.

Everything went fine. I was happy with the service and signed up a little contract with them. The cost was included in a package. That package was $140, somewhere in that range. What stood out was the prompt service. It was very good. It was done promptly and professionally.

That was so great, absolutely great. It went basically well. They were great in terms of courtesy, efficiency, price and reliability. They came out of their way to help us in any way possible.

They were really nice and helpful. They gave me the numbers that I wanted at that time.

I called Accu-Temp because my parents recently had to replace their AC unit. I was there when Accu-Temp installed it. They had gotten 3 quotes from different companies; Accu-Temp was the lowest quote and had the most professional installers. Very courteous. Came in, did the work, and left when it was done. I was also there when the city inspector came by to look over the unit and he commented that whoever installed it had done a great job. So far, no problems with either their unit or my repair. I also appreciate the fact that Accu-Temp is not afraid to say they are a Christian company in their advertising.

Accu-Temp is really wonderful. They always call as a reminder before scheduling your annual and semi-annual services. My A/C is original from 1997 and it still is running like a champ. They have been keeping it going for over 10 years now and I am glad that Chuck and his team take pride in their work. Chuck rides along and checks on things. He is a great owner/operator and will tell you it straight without trying to oversell like others do here in town. Give them a chance. You will be glad you did.

After the initial check of the unit the owner Chuck came to give me an estimate on a new inside and outside unit. Chuck explained all the details showed me all the paperwork and how much it would cost, he even brought a portable unit so my family could sleep comfortable. The next day the men came to take out the old parts and start putting the new one together explaining what they were doing and cleaning up everything as they worked. After everything was installed they cleaned up, gave me the paperwork and explained the last details. It was a new system and it works great, my family and I are happy that it went well and took only a half day to install.

I called on a Sunday morning. Shane immediately called me back and was at my house in less than an hour. He quickly diagnosed the problem (bad thermostat). He had the part with him, installed it, and the Air Conditioning unit was up and running in less than an hour. He was friendly, professional, knowlegeable and showed up almost immediately. I would surely use this company again and recommend them to other people.

Excellent service, fast response times, always follow ups for my semi-annual services on time which is refreshing unlike some other contractors I have dealt with for other issues on my home.

The technician, Shane, showed up early! He was professional and easy to speak with and ask questions about the system. He quickly identified the problem with my unit, which was a contact in the heat pump no longer functioning correctly. Shane let me know what he was going to do and I was able to go back to my work while he completed the service. When Shane was done, he summarized what he saw in my unit and asked if I had any other questions. All charges were fully explained and there were no surprises or hidden fees. I also was able to use the coupon that I found on Angie's List, which is how I found them to begin with when I needed A/C service. I explained to Shane that I called them based on them being the highest rated A/C service company in my area on Angie's List and he told me that the reviews are so high because that is the way the owner of the company does business, and also the reason why he chooses to work for this company. All in all a great experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend using this company for your service needs, as I will in the future.

Our condo maintenance supervisor recommended Accu-Temp and we are glad he did. They gave us a straightforward estimate, in person, and explained very thoroughly what they were going to do. The service tech got here on time and did a great job. In addition to a standard installation, they coated the heat pump that they installed on the roof of the condo. (The condo is on the ocean.) They also installed an overflow container under the air handler with a float switch. (This wasn't done with our original system.) We were very pleased with everything. We are confident that Accu-Temp will give us great service over the life of the equipment.

They did the service on a weekend and they let us know the system needed replaced but they put freon in to get us through the weekend. He did give an estimate for a new system. They were very nice and cordial to work with.

The service was excellent. I would hire them again in a minute. The two guys that came were absolutely professional, extremely courteous, and they were super nice. I mentioned them that I may replace my air conditioner in the next few years and he walked me through the process of what would need to be done.

I have used them twice a year for two years. They keep track of when maintenance is needed and they will call to schedule. They always show up on time and they do a great job. I have no problems with them. I would highly recommend them. They came out right away one time when lighting struck the air conditioning unit.

The service was very good. I was happy with the service they provided. I did find a less expensive quote for another contract from a different service provider. The guy from there was very knowledgeable. He really knew the in's and out's of the Carrier system. One of the reasons that I made a change was the yearly contract from other service providers included two services instead of one.

They were professional. They did a good job. We found a lower bid and went with a different company.

They had to install a new heat pump initially and they have came since that time to do maintenance. They are very nice people, they come on time, and they contact me when service is needed.

Needless to say I will be calling Shane for all our heat/ac needs.

We discovered in the evening that we were not getting any heat and I called Accutemp and tech arrived early afternoon the next day and and did tests for leaks and discovered part was rotted out. He gave us an estimate to replace item but also said the unit was past its lifetime (13 years old). Normal lifetime is 10 - 12 years here in Florida. I then asked for an estimate for replacement. He brought out a chart marked good - better - best and explained thoroughly the difference between the three choices and also said financing was available at a low interest rate. No pressure was placed on us to replace unit and he said the decision and options he provided were up to us to decide. This company has been consistent in providing service within 24 hours and tech is well trained and very patient with all the questions we had and did not leave until we were satisfied with all information we needed.

We arrived at our vacation home late friday night to find three was no electricity due to a lightning strike on the electric pole near our home. The power company fixed the electricity during the night but the AC fan would not blow air. I went to Angies List early Saturday morning and found Accu-Temp, which is well rated and located near my home. I called and spoke with Chuck, who is the contact on Angies List. He said a technician would arrive in about 1 hour. He said the serivce charge to diagnose was $59 and asked how I heard of his company. I was happy to tell him I saw his good reports on Angie's List. Shane arrived as planned and explained the service charge and quickly diagnosed that the problem was a burned out relay due to the lightning strike. He explained that the relay part was no longer available because the unit was very old but he could install a contactor in place of the relay. The charge would be $165. I agreed and he completed the work. Then I asked Shane to check the coolant level and he found the coolant to be borderline low and suggested it be recharged. The cost was $85 and I agreed. He finished quickly and we settled the bill, which included a coupon for Angie's List members. The whole process took less than 3 hours from when I placed the intial phone call. My AC unit is very old and will be replaced in the near future. When it is time I will definitely call Accu-Temp first for quotes to replace it and I will call them if/when I have other AC serive needs. I will also recommend Accu-Temp to friends and neighbors in Flagler Beach.
