Description of Work: I purchased an in home, 2 hour computer tune up for my Mac computers. Prior to making the purchase I called the company to make sure their technician was experienced with Mac computers and associated software. I was assured that the technician was knowledgable on Macs. When I spoke with the technician to confirm our appointment I asked him again whether he was equipped and trained to handle the Apple operating system. I also asked him if I should buy specific anti-virus software. He reassured me that he had all the software he needed and there wouldn't be any problems. Unfortunately the technician who came to my home did not have sufficient knowledge and/or experience to adequately service my computers. In fact the first hour was spent downloading the newest Mac OS "Yosemite" with no other troubleshooting done. At that point I dismissed the technician and told him I was going to tell his manager that I was dissatisfied with the service. On the positive side, everyone that I dealt with at the company (including the technician) were courteous and genuinely committed to providing outstanding service. They offered to have their top Mac expert at the main office help me in any way he could via the phone. I appreciated their willingness to work with me but I am not comfortable troubleshooting over the phone because of my inexperienced with Macs. I ordered the service specifically to have someone evaluate my current setup and then walk me step by step through the process of restoring the Macs to their optimal state. I am simply not knowledgable and/or confident enough to know where to begin over the phone. Ultimately the service would be an exceptional deal if they had sent a Mac expert in the beginning.

Kevin is very knowledgeable about information technology and he can teach it well because he uses common every-day language (not computereze) and takes the time to demonstrate, or teach by hands-on methods. He also re-configured some links in our computers to make them more user-friendly. |We recommended Kevin to a neighbor who was also pleased with Kevin performance and professionalism. We will continue to use him whenever the need arises.
