He was great. They were wonderful. I thought there was something wrong with the fuse or the fan motor or if it needed blah blah blah. They came out within literally within 12 hours. I called them at night and they called me back in the morning and came out that afternoon. He started at the easy stuff first in case it was an inexpensive fix and it happen to be. So, he checked all the fuses and literally took one of the fuses I had and took a 55 cent fuse and made the fix. After all that, my total bill was nothing. It was awesome and here I was all upset. You just don't know if it is going to be the whole system or nothing. Super super nice and I like that he checked the cheap stuff first.

Excellent on multiple visits that they have come made to our house. We will probably need a new system in the next 5 to 8 years and we will be using Shade's for that also.

Our AC died in July 2015 and we hired Shades to replace it with a Rheem. On the day of the instal, Arthur told me he would submit our paperwork to Duke Energy for a $350 rebate. After not hearing anything from Duke for several months, I called them and was advised that our paperwork was never submitted. When I talked to Arthur, he said that our paperwork had gotten wet in his truck, so he disposed of it. We took care of the rebate ourselves. I was also told by Arthur that I should call him when we needed the filter replaced and he'd do the annual maintenance. The filter is a specialty item. Given that we have multiple pets in the house and we were still using the original filter that was put in when the AC was installed, I wanted the filter changed out so I emailed and called Arthur a month ago to set up an appointment and he has never gotten back to us. Our first year maintenance never happened. We ended up hiring another AC company to change the filter and perform the maintenance.

Everything was great. I will definitely use this company for my heating and AC needs.

Art is the owner and sole employee of Shade's AC and Heating. One phone call and we arranged for him to come out and look at my home AC unit. He came out on the third week of July, on the day and hour we'd agreed on. Not a minute late. He switched on the AC in the house, then we went outside ? in the rain ? to look at the AC unit. I held umbrellas over both of us. He tested the Freon in the system?there was none. He pumped some Freon into the system and noticed corrosion, caused by a leak, on the top of the accumulator. His on-the-spot estimate was $400.00 for a new accumulator, the necessary 7 pounds of refrigerant, and labor. Due to the rain, he said it would have to be a dry day before he came and did the repairs. The following Monday, July 20th, I went out to my carport ready to leave for an appointment. Art?s truck was in the condo parking lot. He had already completed the repair and replaced the coolant that morning. 45 days later and my AC unit is functioning properly. His bill was $400.00. It was money well spent. I can easily100% recommend Art at Shade?s Air Conditioning & Heating.

Art was totally professional and thorough. He left no stone unturned and along the way he found a shorted out cold weather heat strap that we don't need here, so he cut it off and capped the wires. Everything checked out great and he gave a lot of good advice on how to run the system. I highly recommend him!

I bought an Angie's List Big Deal for an AC Tuneup. The technician showed up on time, and performed the inspection/cleaning. I was actually not there when the service was performed, but my tenant told me everything went fine, and no problems were found with my system.

He came over in the middle of the afternoon to put in a new vent he told me about. His installations are clean, good price, good personal service, prompt, efficient, neat and presentable.

He came just in time. He found the problem in 30 seconds and fixed it. He gave me an honest answer and took a very cheap price. He was very nice and didnt complain about the crazy rain while he was working. I'll call him again next time for sure!

IT WENT GREAT , AS USUAL . I HAVE COPD AND I CANT GO WITHOUT MY AIR CONDITIONING . THE OWNER DOES ALL HIS OWN WORK , THATS 1 REASON I HIRED HIM TO BEGIN WITH .WHEN MY AIR GOES DOWN HE COMES ASAP HE KNOWS I CANT BREATH WELL WITHOUT IT .HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN PUNCTUAL EXPLAINS WHAT HES DOING .AND GIVES ME TIPS ON HOW TO KEEP MY ELECTRIC BILL DOWN DUE TO THE FACT I HAVE TO RUN MY AIR CONDITIONER SO MUCH .ALL I CAN SAY IS HES GREAT AND I WOULD NEVER USE ANYONE ELSE.

Arthur was great. We called him Thursday afternoon and he sceduled us in on Friday afternoon. He gave us a two hour window and arrived within the first 30 minutes of that time. He was quick, efficient, and even checked the outdoor system to make sure it did not need anything. We will defiantly call him for our yearly maintenance and for any issues we have pop up. They came out to fix the A/C and 8 days we started having the same problem again. The A/C started leaking and we contacted the SP several times and still have not received a response from them. My husband had to go into the attic and suck the water up with a shop vac. The water came through our laundry room ceiling.

Has another guy replace some switch that was acting up and casuign the main issue.

He did an excellent job with this repair, and he was especially creative in replacing some damaged duct work. We appreciate his great work and his willingness to work on a Saturday, especially Valentine's Day, and his price was more than fair. We highly recommend!!

I purchased the deal on Angie's list for an AC inspection. Shade's contacted me immediately to schedule an appointment. Technician was on time and gave me a good report. I had purchased the home a few months earlier and knew the AC unit was fairly new, but i wanted to make sure the freon level was OK and that there were no obvious issues. I got a good report and no further service was required.

He was timely.. Worked on getting it fixed and operational.. Best $65 I've spent since I bought this house. Love that I am not flying blind As this provider had good reviews.
