Technician showed up on time. Inspected the system and taught me what to look for... Tech said our system was fine and did not try and sell me anything .. Will definitely call them again if troubles arise...

Ron called the day before the scheduled appointment to confirm the time & date. He arrived within the estimated time and gave my water softener the tune-up (cleaning nozzle & venturi) I requested. Ron took the opportunity to tell me about the water softeners they install and how they are superior to the ones typically sold at home improvement stores. I believe my softener still has a few years left (it is 4 years old) but he was of the opinion that it would be better to replace it now before any trouble developed (soft sell). Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would consider using them down the road.

They came out at time scheduled by office, removed old unit, installed new unit, explained features and were finished in approx. 90 mins. All work done professionally and NEATLY (piping looked so much better).Thank you and will recommend .

It went great, they showed up on time, did a superb job of installation and the system works like a charm and is very nice looking. We are very happy and would definitely hire this company again. Our system is very impressive. The difference in the quality of the water is HUGE!

Technician was on time, very personable and professional. I purchased my water softener system from this company and have been pleased with the result. He did sell me an additive for 49.99 that the technician did not mention I needed last year; but overall, am very pleased with the company and the service.

Everything went well. The technicians were pleasant and worked very fast installing the new system. They cleaned up everything as well when finished and removed the old system and took it with them. Very pleased with the outcome and it is a better system than the one I had.

The service went as expected, he inspected and cleaned the parts and added salt. He also recommended a better quality and newer system that works better than the Sears unit I already have that is getting old.

I got the Angies Big Deal for a check up for my daughters system at her new condo for $39.00. Tech took it apart the unit and said it was shot and would be $700.00 to $1800.00 to fix or replace. I did some research on line and found it wasn't as bad as it sounded. I called Mat the owner and discussed what I found V what the tech felt it needed. Mat gave me several options. I went with a what made the most sense for the money. The system now works good. I will use then for service from now on.

After searching for a water softener company for quite some time with competitive pricing and one that I could trust, I received a Angie's List Deal in my email for a whole house system for $1,195. I knew I could go to Lowe's, Home Depot or Sears to buy one for less money but they don't specialize in water softener systems and I would have incurred additional cost for installation. When I saw this deal from Angie's List on my email, I jumped on it. Someone from the company called me the same day and it was installed a week later. I was a bit concerned when I paid for the unit online that the company would try and upsell me another unit for my 4 bedroom, 4 bath home. I was especially pleased when they told me the unit for $1,195 was just what I needed to get the job done. I could not be happier with the service, timing and the system for my 4 BR home. They tucked the system in a corner on the inside of my garage where it is hardly noticable. I would recommend this water softener company to anyone looking for a high quality, reliable water softener from an excellent company! They installed the system, adjusted the settings to accomodate the soft water my home needs and left the unit full of salt pellets. Hire them, you won't be disappointed!

The guy that came out was very nice. He implied that I needed a new water softener, but didn't pressure me terribly. However, he didn't test the water. I later had the water tested and it is working just fine.

It turned out that I need a new water softener but this company was great and I will use them in the future.

Our water softener system was about 18 years old and not in very good shape; needed repairs. We had also been considering adding a water filtering system in our kitchen for drinking water as we were spending quite a bit on bottled water. I contacted FL Water Treatment to look at the water softener system and because they were offering a free service call AND they had a good rating on Angie's List. After discussing the cost to repair the existing system along with the cost we had researched for the water filtering system, we decided to replace/upgrade our softener with a water conditioning system. Matt clearly explained the difference between the two systems and how it would impact our water (as well as any appliances/equipment that utilize water - like dishwasher, etc.). I also like that they build the systems locally. The technician arrived on the scheduled date, was very courteous, and went right to work. He completed the work within a couple of hours and explained how the system operated, etc. In going over the system it seemed to me that there was water leaking from one of the valves (it may have just been excess water dripping as he had washed down the area after completing the job). However, to be on the safe side, he replaced the parts to insure that there was not leak. I was very impressed with that extra effort and appreciated avoiding a potential service call. The pipes, electrical, etc. were installed neatly; much better than our old softener system had been installed (it was a messy installation). We have gravel in that area and he also washed down the gravel so there was no residual dirt, etc. from the installation. All in all a very professional job and a very pleasant experience.

Our house is three years old and we've never been pleased with the water quality, have been interested in adding a softening system for a while now. Searching contractors on Angie's list was the first step. Florida Water Treatment got our attention based on both the amount of reviews and the consistent high marks they received. The "bonus" was that FWT was running a special price on the installation of a system. We signed up for the special deal and were immediately contacted by FWT. After asking a series of questions (to ensure the system was correct for our house), the installation was scheduled within the week. So far, so good. As promised, FWT called the day before the scheduled installation to narrow our install window down to 2 hours. On installation day, the technician also called when he was 20 minutes from arrival (which was actually at the beginning of the 2 hour window). This is customer service 101 and always appreciated. Upon arrival, the technicians explained the details of the install (which in our case was fairly straightforward). The installation took approx. 1 hour and was completed very neatly. We then discussed the system operation and required maintenance (which is minimal to say the least). In summary, we are extremely pleased with FWT and the purchased system. We were really expecting some kind of "upsell" because of the excellent installation price, but that did not happen. It is always refreshing to hire a contractor and have that contractor do exactly what was expected without exception. Kudos to FWT for being that kind of contractor. Based on our experience, FWT is highly recommended.

I contacted FWT, and Hilary responded very quickly and got a service appointment set up with Matt (owner) to discuss options. Matt was very knowledgeable, and explained the different types of water softener systems available. He tested my current water, got information on size of home and number of occupants, and gave me a cost of a system for the home. Matt didn't try to push the most expensive system, but instead recommended a system that made sense for our home and water usage, which was refreshing. We agreed on price and terms, and Matt was able to get techs out the following week to install. The techs were very friendly and efficient, installing the new plumbing to run the softener inside the garage, and explained [the simple] operation of the system. They left me with the operation manual and warranty. I was not expected to make any payment towards the softener until I was satisfied with the install (which I immediately was). Matt and his team were great to work with, and I highly recommend FWT to anyone looking for a water softener.

Matt gave us a presentation explaining what FWT provides and explained the installation process. Two installers showed up; on time; completed the system installation in an expeditious and professional manner.

Prompt curteous and thorough. Installed tank, quickly and easily inside my garage. patientlyanswered my questions when posed with questions. Since work was completed support has been helpful and has even serviced our tank since install.

They are great. They are very responsive and reasonably priced. Their customer service department is great as well.

I feel these guys were very honest. The unit was a little pricey as compared to a lot of the retail units that are offered at places like Sears or Costco, etc... If the unit was a little less money I probably would have gone with the system. Overall I recommend them as to most companies I have dealt with. The gentleman who came out was very knowledgeable.

Here in Hillsborough County we get fairly hard water and quite highly chlorinated water, so pretty much as soon as soon as they installed the treatment unit we noticed fast improvement on our water quality. We have consistent smooth, soft water and we've never notice chlorine odor in it since it was installed and I never had any problems with it whatsoever. They were excellent to work with, very patient with us because it took us at least a couple of months to decide on which unit to go with and very patient in waiting for us to make a decision and very helpful in answering questions through that time and give very open and honest answers. They did an excellent job.

During my initial contact, Matt explained the installation procedures and the time required. The technician was on time for the appointment and the installation was completed as planned. The tech was very professional, explained options for placement and also explained in detail the operation of the unit. I am completely satisfied at this point and would recommend FL Water to anyone looking for a system for their home. We noticed an improvement in the water on the very same day. Should have done it years ago instead of drinking bottled spring water.

Matt Zarra handled all of our questions and thoroughly explained the system options. Very flexible on meeting times for initial review of our home and scheduling of installation. Installation was professional with no hassle and no unaniticipated problems. Great service provider.

They came out and looked at the possible place where to place the softener. Then the technicians came out and did the work at the time they scheduled. They were very nice and got the job done in a timely matter. I needed the system reset, based on the water usage for our household, so they came out to do that with no problem. Yes, I would recommend them. They are very organized and professional and very nice family run business.
