Really appreciated the call ahead with an estimated arrival time. Checked out the softener system and reset and answered my questions. Honest and fair, no pressure to replace system. Promised to send an annual reminder which i appreciate since this little unit is tucked out of the way; easy to forget until there is no soft water. Great Service!!!

Service person arrived on time. Took water softener apart and showed us the sludge in the bottom and in the lines. It was in bad shape. Replaced it with a Rainbow that they build. Very happy with the new product and overall experience.

The man was very knowledgeable and suggested what I should do but was not in the least pushy. Very good experience. The original installer of the system did come and fix it. This is a good company and would use them if needed.

It didn't go particularly well. It turns out it needs a lot of work. If I wanted it fixed, it would have cost more. But, I wasn't going to buy any softener. There is a whole lot cheaper option that they didn't even offer to me, to replace the media. I talked to another company about that. They didn't show up the first time. They could have offered me a cheaper alternative rather than replacing my water softener. The guy was friendly and easy to talk to.

The installers were very knowledgeable and professional. The new unit is working great. The owner subtracted the $39 big deal from my final cost.

INSTALLED NEW UNIT, SHOWED ME HOW TO OPERATE IT, EXPLAINED WARRANTY, LEAK TESTED ALL NEW CONNECTIONS, AND COLLECTED PAYMENT. ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS AND CLEANED UP ALL INSTALLATION DEBRIS. GOOD EXPERIENCE. I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

These guys are great! Matt was fantastic and he responded right away to my chat message on Angie's List - which is a huge indicator for me. He come over within a day and gave me an estimate that was a LOT cheaper than I had expected. So, I said let's do it! They came in and installed the following Monday. The install guys were great! They buried the units so only about 24" or so shows (that's as far as they could go). Took a couple of hours to put in and it was ready to go! I feel confident that if there's anything that goes wrong, I'd be able to get them to fix it, since they're the ones who "built" it and installed it. I'll even use their salt delivery service! Awesome job!

Company rep contacted me very quickly to set up an appointment. Tech arrived on time, inspected the water softener, and determined that it required replacement. Unfortunately, this wasn't unexpected. He discussed the problems with our current system, the benefits to having a softener, and our options. Suggested a replacement system. Offered the included salt but we declined as the system is in bypass. We have a home warranty and hope it will cover replacement, but if not will likely have this company return when our budget allows.

The technician arrived and tore apart the softener (breaking one of the parts). He then told me that the unit needed replacing and could not be repaired. He put it in by-pass and gave me 2 pages of replacement unit descriptions. He quoted me prices to replace my unit with either one of them. The least expensive was 1500. He did not leave 2 bags of salt. It seemed to me that they were in the business of selling new softeners and use the angie's list special to get them potential sales. Pretty sad.

They pretty much came in and determined that I needed a new system. I didn't really end up purchasing it from them. They were a little bit more expensive than some other place where I could get it. I am not comparing quality, it may have been a much higher quality but I didn't need to spend that much on water treatment. He was very good but I ended up going somewhere else, no negatives. The price was too high to solve the problem. The rep was very good but on the pricing side, they were a little higher.

In a moment of bad judgment, about 18 months ago we Purchased a water softener from a less than stellar provider (didn't check Angie's List first). We were having performance issues, so checked Angie's List for a service provider and saw a deal offered by Florida Water Treatment. We purchased the deal through Angie's List and were promptly contacted to schedule a service call only a couple of business days later. Chris arrived as scheduled. He tested the water quality, disassembled and serviced the softener and gave us a well needed short course on how to manage our softener. Hard to believe that the original installer just hooked it up and left - no directions and a no-name unit. Chris solved our problem and we should be OK. Wish we had dealt with Florida Water Treatment originally. Highly recommend.

Provider showed up on time was courteous. Service was quick and efficient.

Matt came out the following day from initial contact and surveyed my water line. His 2 man crew came out the following week since I was going to be out of town that weekend. They initially thought my softener would need to be installed outside but upon further inspection, they found where they could install it in my ultility room to my surprise. They took a little longer then initially planned but they got the job done to my satisfaction and made sure it functioned properly with no leaks and I understood its operation.

Erick and Jeremy arrived within the two hour window, introduced themselves and got to work. They had our system installed within two hours and were courteous and professional. They took time to show us what we need to do to keep it running. It is very easy and doesn't take much on our part. We are very happy with the result and highly recommend this company and their products.

Bought the $39 deal to have water softener checked and service along with free salt bags. The tech came out and was able to show me right away how deterioted my old unit was. It was actually doing nothing. I did have flow problems along with scaling and staining in all bathroom fixtures. We agreed on a replacement unit with an option of a charcoal filter as well as the membrane. Appointment was set up for the next week. The installer team of two was punctual and took pride in their work, making a special effort to run the drain inside my home to the into the laundry sink. Everything was explained and two bags of additional salt were left for me. I notice a huge difference in my water now, suds up better, no water marks on dishwasher glasses and no more calcium stains on sink drains and fixtures.

Their prices can be a little high but service and installation was great.

At first no issue until the technicIan set the computer he stated that the results that showed were wrong, example: number of gallons of water used and an issue with a hard water reading. He went as far as he could without potentially voiding the warranty. He advised to contact a GE authorized service rep because he thought there may be a problem with the computer. We contacted GE, the rep looked over the system, turned a screw which set the system to full soft water flow and problem solved. First, the rep from the company we bought the tune-up from did not know the full workings of our particular model since he did not look to flip the screw to put the system into full soft water mode. Ours is one of the few water softeners that have that capability. If he had it would have saved us a $75 service call for the GE authorized service rep to come out to do what the other company should have done since they supposedly work on GE systems. So in the end we paid $125 for 2 bags of salt. My advice is get the service from an authorized dealer/representative. Promptness: Tech called that he would be late due to an emergency. Good thing we don't charge for our time right? But at least he called. He was a nice guy even though he was not an authority on our system.

I highly recommend Matt and the folks at Florida Water Treatment. I did a lot of research on water softeners and whole house water filters before finding FWT on Angies List. I'd received quotes from Culligan ($2900 for an inferior system), from another vendor for a Kinetico system ($4300), and looked online for DIY systems. FWT's system was a superior design at a much cheaper price. The install team was nice and professional, and did a great job. I couldn't be happier.

Matt was very helpful in explaining which water softener would work best for us, as well as a filtration system for the kitchen. He spent as long as needed to answer all our questions and make sure we were satisfied with the plan. Installation went well and we are very happy that we chose Florida Water Treatment again. We have had their service at our old home and they have been great. Highly recommend them.

This company does what it says it will do. They are dependable and easy to work with. The installers were friendly and professional. They showed up on time and went right to work and finished in a timely fashion. They went over the details of the system with us before they left. Very pleased with this firm.
