Florida Water Treatment Inc was more interested in selling a new system.

It worked out just like I expected it to. They gave me a very cheap offer of $39 of coming and checking everything, but they always come up with something that needs to be done so I ended up with the same price I would have paid if they would just have come for a regular check up. They were supposed to add something to the water to disinfect it, but they always do that. I did get a couple of bags of salt, but otherwise, it had been the same. The price was good. There was nothing wrong with that. It was not a big job. It was not a $100 job. That's what they usually charge anyway to come out. I can't complain about that. I don't know if he did everything he was supposed to do. I know it was a few minutes. His responsiveness was good. Chris was a pleasant guy. He came quickly. I like Chris. He is a nice guy. They were the ones who put everything in here. They did the whole set up. I thought I'm getting a chance to see another company too but when Chris came out, it was the same company.

Excellent service. I was contacted with a delay of 20 minutes on service time , but they were true to their word and I appreciated the call.I was educated on my water treatment service and definitely would recommend this company.

I purchased my water softener back in 1976. It had served me well but finally wore out. I called Florida Water Treatment and Chris came out the following day to give me an estimate to repair the old unit. For a complete overhaul of the unit was going to cost in the range of $800. I decided to go with a new, up to date, unit built for my household size for $1300. The following week the Service Tech/Installer by the name of Jason arrived at the time agreed upon the previous day on a call from Hillary in their service department.. Jason did an excellent job of installing the unit which was not easy since the original unit and salt tank had been buried. Once finished Jason took some time to explain what he had done but also the operation of this unit in comparison to what I had been dealing with. In addition to filling the salt tank he installed a water faucet off the soft water side so I would be able to use the soft water to wash the car. Jason did an excellent job and clean up. I would definitely use this company in the future.

He was telling me there wasn't much he could do except replace it and I told him I wasn't going to do that. Then he came down to a more reasonable price, something he could actually do. Eventually I was disappointed, but I wasn't ready to, since we already paid for installation. I really didn't get anything major done and, hopefully, I won't find something that wasn't a lot of money to fix my system. It was way over what I spent. They wanted me to buy a big system and I guess they gave a decent price but I was ready at the time so they were fine. I would give them a B.

It turned out great. We were very satisfied with the services we received. They installed a new one for me. I was absolutely very satisfied. He was very professional.

The tech told me that the Sani-System SS100WSS Water Softener Sanitizer was a good value. I paid $49.95 for the item and for the tech to pour it into my salt tank. ... IT SELLS FOR $ $7 ON AMAZON !!! I wasn't happy but didn't have a problem with paying $99.00 for servicing, although most companies charge $49.99. I was more concerned about having the service preformed correctly. I am, however, NOT HAPPY with getting gouged for the Sani-System SS100WSS Water Softener Sanitize r!!! NOTE: I initially had FWT replace my water softener on January 4, 2015 for the amount of $1255 The same installed price for this unit is about $900 but, once again, I wanted the unit installed properly, so I was willing to pay a premium price. The owner of FWT,Matthew Zarra, shouldn't have top be told that there is a difference between charging a premium price and gouging !!!

They always do try to sell you something though, which maybe I don't like that part about them very well. Every single time I call them they are here immediately and my water tank was under warranty for five years and they didn't tell me it wasn't because I didn't have my warranty papers or anything but they came and explained everything and they have to drive a long way to get here. Jeremy always explains everything to me and talks to me about everything and so does his work guys. His work guys were real professional and my tank has been here like for four years and it has a warranty so they came out and put in a new tank for me. There are times when they help me do things over the phone and they don't charge me.

Showed up on time was courteous and did what was advertized. Reset timer and told me my softener should be replaced.

The rep called in advance, showed up on time and was patient in analyzing the existing system. Although ti was determined that the system was bad, the rep did not use high pressure sales to have us replaced. He simply explained the benefits and cost. He was extremely professional and courteous. He set up the bypass on the system to prevent future problems while we determine if a new system is right for us. It was a recommended service experience.

They were awesome, professional, provided me with superior water treatment system. Meet with the owner Matt. He is NOT pushy. If you do not want the system he will walk away " no pressure " at all. The installation guys were professional no nonsense get the job done . I was very impressed !

On time, went over the service he did with my husband. Had a checklist that we were given at end also. Very pleased.

Quick and easy. Excellent value on the Angie's List coupon. Our water only had hard water. Would recommend to anyone who needs to have a basic water softener to remove hardness.

I contacted the company for a price to replace 1 cubic feet of resin in my water softener. I was advised that the cost to replace the resin is $695 and may go up to $895 if the valve needed to be repaired. I had the 1 cubic feet of resin replaced not very long ago for under $200 so I decided not to do business with this company and have it done by another company. I spoke to my neighbor who works on his own system and he agreed that the price was beyond high. My neighbor bought his resin for under $100 and did it himself in less than an hour. So I will look elsewhere.

Guy seemed nice enough. Did not buy the new softener yet, because we did not want to spend the money.

We called because our water softener was regenerating continuously and we received a large water bill. Chris came out to our home and took apart our Culligan brand water softener to determine what the problem was. As he took apart the control head and valve assembly I could see the poor quality of the product and the damaged parts were falling out. I quickly realized that repairing the system was not going to be the best option. Chris identified the issues and advised me that it was repairable. I felt that it was not the best option to repair the existing system and asked about a new system. Without any pressure, he offered me two options, explained the cost, the advantages, and the warranty. After discussing the options with my wife we are going to replace the system with the system Chris recommended. Chris was an a great guy, very personable, knew what he was doing, and was happy to answer all my questions. We look forward to the installation of the new water softening system and will follow up on how the new system is running.

The entire process was a positive experience. From meeting with Matt, who explained the water softening process, the installation process, the maintenance requirements of the system, to meeting the installers, everyone was polite, knowledgable, and professional. The installation process was efficient, and we are now enjoying soft water throughout our home. I wholeheartedly recommend Florida Water Treatment to handle installation of a water softener system in your home.

Steve found the problem was heavenly worn seals and a breakdown of the filter. The unit was unrepairable. Steve went over the options for replacing softener but did not give a high pressure sales pitch, for which I was very grateful. I have decided not replace the unit at this time.

As I had feared, the installed system was so old that parts are no longer made. Rather than mess around with the system, Chris came right to the point. The system should be replaced, period. He made a suggestion for a replacement but didn't hard sell me. We talked about the pros and cons of having a system and he answered all my questions. Chris even offered to leave the 2 bags of salt that were part of the deal, though we didn't need them at this point.

The water softener had not worked for several months. The technician discovered that it was beyond repair after he fully inspected it. He explained what he had found and suggested several models available from Florida Water Treatment. Very professional and has allowed for time to research best approach in my case. No pressure to buy on the spot which I admire. I wouldn't have bought that quickly and it was a nice approach.

just confirmed my fears that my water conditioner was not repairable. super nice though and did not try to push anything on me but wanted to make sure I was educated on my decision when purchasing a new one.

Our old water softener system was not working properly. Because the old system was 12 years old I decided it would be more cost effective to purchase a new one instead of costly repair fees. Also, because I had purchased it from a small company they had gone out of business several years ago. I decided to contact Florida Water Treatment (FWT) because they have been in business for many years, and of course, because of the great reviews on Angie's List. Matt Zarra, the owner of FWT, came to my home to discuss my options and at that time I decided to purchase a new system. One week later FWT came to my home and removed the old system, installed the new one, and the job was completed within under two hours. They did a great job and I couldn't be happier with the new system! Thank you!
