Welcome to Floor Depot! We are a local, family owned and operated flooring company that has been proudly serving the greater Tampa Bay Area since 1985. Integrity and quality are our primary focus to make sure we better serve you. We are proud to offer high quality installation on all of our fine flooring products. Our technicians are employees not sub-contractors, so they will take there time with every phase of the install so as to ensure that your job will have all manufacturing warranties in place once your floor is installed. Our costs are determined by the job so we make sure we meet your needs, desired look and budget as accurately and effectively as possible. Our sales staff is all non comission based to make sure we are handling every situation with customer service being the focus of our interaction and relationship we build with our customer base. WE HAD TO HAVE OUR SHOWER AND FLOOR RIPPED OUT AND RETILED. THEY HAVE VERY LARGE SELECTION TO CHOOSE FROM. WE WENT INTO THE STORE AND FOUND SOME TILE THAT WE LIKED AND SET UP THE INSTLL FOR 3 DAYS LATER. I THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE LONGER THAN THAT. THEY TECHNICIAN CAME OUT AND WORK HARD TO GET THE JOB DONE IN TWO DAYS. HE WAS QUIET AND POLITE. I AM SO THRILLED WITH THE END RESULT. THE OWNER EVEN CALLED ME TO MAKE SURE I WAS HAPPY WITH THE JOB. WE WILL BE HIRING THEM AGAIN TO DO THE REST OF THE HOUSE. I CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND ITS WORK ETHIC.

THERE WAS A DELAY WITH THE INITIAL INSTALLERS THAT WERE SCHEDULED FOR A MORNING COMMITMENT. BUT THEY CALLED TO WARN US OF THEIR DELAY FROM A PRIOR JOB. THE WORK WAS DONE EXCELLENTLY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

HAROLD AND HIS SON INSTALLED THE HARDWOOD. BOTH WERE COMPLETELY PROFESSIONAL. IF I TRIED TO FIND AN ERROR, I COULD NOT. EVEN MY THRIFTY AND PARTICULAR HUSBAND WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED. I AM CONVINCED THAT HARDWOOD INSTALLATION IS AN ART.

Rebuttal: Owner said subcontractor was assigned to job because customer asked for asap.
Description of Work: BASED ON MY DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM, I WAS TOLD THE SHOWER PAN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I PAID $700.00 IN ADVANCE FOR A NEW SHOWER PAN AND NEW TILE SHOWER FLOOR. INSTALLER TOLD US A NEW PAN WAS NOT NEEDED AND REPLACED THE TILE ON THE SHOWER FLOOR. THE INSTALLER ARRIVED ABOUT 5 HOURS AFTER WE WERE TOLD HE WOULD ARRIVE. HE WASNT ABLE TO FINISH THE JOB BECAUSE HIS RUSHING CAUSED PROBLEMS WITH THIN-SET BLEEDING INTO THE GROUT. HE SAID HE WOULD RETURN THE NEXT DAY (SUNDAY). WE CHANGED OUR PLANS TO BE HOME. HE NEVER CAME AND NEVER CALLED. TWO WEEKS LATER HE FINISHED.

WE WOULD NORMALLY NOT USE ANY SUBCONTRACTORS FOR ANY JOB. HOWEVER, THIS MEMBER INSISTED THAT THE JOB BE DONE RIGHT AWAY. WE HAVE WORK ABOUT 1 WEEK AHEAD. AND THEY COULDNT WAIT. THIS MEMBER SAID THAT THEY WOULDNT MIND HAVING THE SUBCONTRACTORS. THEY NEVER TOLD US OF ANY TROUBLES OR PROBLEMS. I WILL TRY AND FIND OUT WHAT WE NEED TO DO.
