Charlie's Wells Irrigation

I met with Charlie on a Monday for an estimate to replace the shutoff and move a pipe. He gave me a great price and the work was scheduled for Wednesday. Two guys showed up and quickly took care of the items that were quoted. They then tested my system (that hasn't been turned on in 9 years) and located and repaired two broken sections for just a small extra fee. The guys were knowledgable and hard workers. I highly recommend this company.

It went very well, from speaking with the lady that answers the phone, to the techs that worked on my issue. They start to work as soon as they arrive and they took the time to answer a couple of questions I had. I have used this company before and would not hesitate to use them again.

The crew of 4 men arrived on time to install the 2 zone irrigation system. They worked in a timely manner and cleaned up the area well.

Installed new timer box. Installed six new heads in the front yard. Three new rotary heads in the back of the house. Tony did a great job. Took his time and got everything right before he left. Great job.

I've used them a few times through the years for a few things that needed adjusting. Charlie's Wells did a very good job and they are very professional. The who runs the office when I called and I told her that I'm going to be selling the house and I don't have to put four wells in and so these other guys said I should put a minimum of four wells and at $250 a piece and that's $1,000. So I think with Charlie's Wells I spent $550 because I put two wells in at $250 a piece and I spent $50 for the permit and the guy had to do $1,000 worth of wells and $80 for the same permit.

Not very good. Had to have them come out three times to try and get the sprinklers to actually work. Today is the third appointment, they've sent out the same technician each time and we'll see if he is successful. I think he may have also broken the timer door.

They arrived promptly as scheduled and quickly got to work. They were very professional - I'd happily use them again. In 30 minutes they tuned-up of my irrigation system, which included adjusting the heads for areas not getting coverage, replacing a rotor ($30) and two heads ($10 ea). Total cost including trip charge for the 30 minutes of work was $195 before the Angie's List coupon.

Service call $55 + 4 rotors $120 + labor $45 TOTAL $220. Total time = less than one hour. Time will be the test to see if these rotors hold up.

My well is too old and out of date. They explained why it was out of date and some of the parts can't be ordered any more. Tried to be very helpful.

They checked every head and how the water was covering what I needed.

They are on time, very fast, and they don't try to up sell you on things.

On time, at predicted price. Work done quickly and efficiently. We have used Charlie's in the past and found them to be the most reliable and the most knowledgeable. We would recommend them highly.

I was not a previous customer. Tech came to home. Estimated repair. Contacted me with estimate. I authorized the repair. Tech offered to check the whole system. I authorized that. Repair and diagnostics completed same day. Invoice came in the mail. Please note, this was my 3rd quote, and this company did not add onto my request. One company was going to rip out bushes, put in a whole new electrical system that would have cost thousands. Thank you for your integrity, trustworthiness, and a job well done.

They were good and prompt. They left the yard clean.

He called my husband with an estimate prior to completing the work. He did a great job and was professional and had reasonable prices. He was also able to do the work quickly rather than us having to wait for several weeks or more.

I had the work done on 3/31/2015. I had a sprinkler head that was completely broken off. Instead of replacing the sprinkler head Jarod suggested capping it off. It was in a spot that got zero sunlight and no grass was growing there anyway. Fast forward to today 4/14/2015. I turned my sprinkler system on for the first time since 3/31/2015. I turned on zone 1 (front) and when I turned on zone 2 (where the capped head is) I walked outside to see two puddles in the dirt where the capped head is. I called Charlie's Wells to tell them about the problem. When I spoke to the lady there, I told her about the capped head. Her reply to me was " is that the one in the rooty area?" It's very strange that I never mentioned anything to her about roots or rooty area. She said maybe one of those roots in that area broke my line a foot or so away from the capped head. What is this all about ?? I said that must have been some FAST growing root to break my line since 3/31/2015. She told me the lines are only made of plastic, not iron and maybe the root broke the line. I would rather have a company like Charlie's Wells tell me we will be out to fix the problem as soon as possible. Rather than hear a root has broken my line since they were last here. They are supposed to come out in four days to fix the problem. Four days later....Two men arrived and found the problem right away. A foot or so away from the newly capped line was a pipe that was leaking from the joint. They said it wasn't from anything they did and I believe that. What I totally don't understand is why the technician that capped my line and was right beside that pipe didn't notice the pipe was leaking. They charged me an additional $25.00, but didn't charge me for the service call. They said that was because their work is guaranteed for 30 days. In all honesty, I can't say this service rates an A.

They did what I asked them to do and they did a good job. He was on time and did the work quickly and cleaned up everything before they left.

They contacted me stating they do not service my area.

Great, as always. Jarod was the service provider today and he was professional, courteous and fast. He gave me options as to what could be done and then suggestions. I have highly recommended Charlie's Wells in the past and continue to do so based on today's encounter.

Charlie is an awesome owner! His crew is polite, professional, and fast! Would definitely use them again and will recommend them to anyone who needs irrigation assistance!

Serviceman had to come to the house twice: he had missed one entire line the first time. The second time he came out, I asked if I should point out where every individual sprinkler head is, so that he can be sure to check all. He replied that he will find them all on his own (despite missing one of the 6 lines the first time out). After he completed the second service, I ran all the lines and discovered that he still missed one sprinkler head.

The owner personally inspected the property and made and explained his recommendations. He set a time and had his office manager (his spouse- its family) arrange the situation. The crew and foreman that came out worked and efficiently and knew what at to be done to meet county requirements which made it all go quite smoothly. There were no "extras" for charges. Yes, I would recommend them to others.
