Charlie's Wells Irrigation

My sprinkler quit working and i got quotes from $2K to $3500 from two reputable sprinkler companies. Then I realized that I was searching for the wrong type of help. Charlie's Wells is the greatest. Sent someone out within a day who gave me a price and by the next week I had new wells and my long dry sprinklers were working again. Highly recommend them for any sprinkler or well related issues.

Scott did a great job repairing our sprinkler system. Our system had not been in operation for 5+ years. He had to find the valve box which was buried. Then he had to troubleshoot why our pressure was so low. He found a break in our line 2 feet underground. Scott was pretty awesome. Great service at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Very responsive. Completed work within 3 days of calling vs. waiting 3.5 weeks for another provider. Fairly priced.

We had a difficult project, reconnect an abandoned irrigation system that had decayed probably decades. The prior system had been broken and cut underground so that when the water was turned on the water bubbled up in unusual places. Heads were broken off and paved over. Charlie's price was very good and the team got it accomplished before lunch in one day. They replaced several heads that were not technically in the quote for no additional charge. The system they installed allowed for expansion as well as the ability to add iPhone control!

Charlie was a no show times 2 different appointments. I find this a bad indicator for good service and choose to try some other company that might be more reliable.

They were great, fixed everything, taught me how to use my timer, super friendly and helpful.

Some scheduling challenges at first. However, they were very responsive to my concerns. Owner called and apologized for the scheduling error and asked if we could reschedule to give her a chance to make things right. They arrived on time for the new appointment and did a good job. Tony was the service tech and he was a very nice man and knew his craft well. I would use this company again.

OUTSTANDING!!! Charlie came out and diagnosed the major problem and fixed it on the spot. I wanted to give him some business and one of his employees came and replaced several broken sprinkler heads and fixed a couple that were leaking. I'm keeping his business card and will recommend him in the future.

Unfortunately, my long-reliable irrigation guy had to shrink his geography because he is just too busy, so I turned to Angie's List to fine a new one. Based upon positive reviews, I chose Charlie's and scheduled the appointment over a week out and was told "early afternoon" for a Wednesday appointment. After I (and the tenant in my home) waited all day, I called the office around 4pm to be dismissively told, "He's running a little late. He'll be there." Still haven't heard a peep from them. I understand (a.) things come up, and (b.) my repair was not going to be a big money-maker, but come on ... have some respect for others' time, and just call and reschedule rather than leaving people hanging. Won't be calling them back on this or any of my other properties.

They are excellent, they know what they are doing, they clean up after themselves and they did a good job.

It took him quite a while to find the broken pipe. Meanwhile he cut and re-glued my pump and a valve. Those parts (just a few months later) have now come disconnected and the other one broke. Ridiculous. The repair he made to the break was ludicrous, and of course is pouring out water again. NOPE. I WOULDN'T HIRE THESE PEOPLE IF THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES AVAILABLE. FFFFF.

We had a sprinkler system installed at our house in the fall of 2017 in anticipation of getting sod. Got it scheduled and installed and everything seemed fine. Our yard was mostly dead and dumpy but the guys configured the zones and said everything was good to go. Fast forward to our sod install this spring, the sod installation guys (different company) ran the system and showed me 3-4 areas that weren't covered by the sprinklers and said I needed to have someone come out and adjust it. I called Charlie's Wells again to come out and make the adjustments (was wanting to have heads moved). The guys that showed up were different than the install team...not sure if they knew their own company had done the install, but they were questioning why certain things were set up the way they were. I explained what I wanted, and they started making adjustments on the sprinkler system by adjusting the distance the water would spray.....they kept asking me 'is that good', and I finally responded that if they left a house like this and they felt like the coverage was adequate then I will cross my fingers. They absolutely did not want to do the more difficult job of moving the heads. One guy was wearing socks and flip flops and I'm guessing he wasn't wanting to shovel dirt with that choice of footwear??? Given that they had just made some flow adjustments on the system and not what I was wanting, I was a bit surprised when I had a $190 invoice for their 'work'. A couple months after the work, the areas that were pointed out to me as needing sprinkler coverage are now dead. I absolutely would not hire this company again.

I have a 3 station watering system and all three stations were trying to come on at the same time. This caused very very low water presser. I had very old equipment and it had to be replaced - works great now!

Needed a "zone" underground electronic solenoid replaced. Had to find underground controls first, then dig it up and out of landscaping placed over it, and replace defective part. Hot, messy labor, late in the day (after 6:30PM) yet the technician remained polite and professional.

They are the only company I use as i've had terrible experiences with several other irrigation companies. They are very professional, punctual, honest, and the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend their services!

it is now 2. the office told me they would have the technician stop by, but I feel it's too late for that. I will call somebody who actually wants my business.

I appreciate their honesty, very professional. tried to explain exactly whats going on and I really appreciate their expertise.

They no showed for the first appointment. When I called they never had me on the books in the first place. The owner was very gracious and set up an appointment for the next day. The employee that showed up, Scott, was short and rude whenever a question was asked. He didn't explain anything to my wife and ended up replacing and additional valve. He also refused to set the new timer we just bought unless were willing to compensate him for the time it would take him to read the manual and set it. This was a basic timer and took me all of 5 minutes to set it up without reading the manual. I would think a professional with some customer service in mind would take a little time to help. He also threw away the new solenoids I had left in there for them to use. Because he didn't explain anything to my wife, I couldn't tell that two valves had been replaced and there was an additional problem. I called and spoke to the owner, who again was very gracious and she sent Scott out again to explain the work he did. He was very rude to me as well and lied to me about not throwing the solenoids away, saying they were not there in the first place. However, the work that was done was good. I would think about going with this company again as long as they didn't send Scott to do my work.

Very well. We thought we might need the pump replaced, but they were able to fix a relay switch. We were pleased they were able to find a fix when we would have naively would have paid for anew pump.
