Description of Work: sprinkler pump was only putting out minimal water - fixed joints that were allowing pressure in system to drop - marked improvement with fix but john stated there is still something not right - checked and found pump was only receiving 110 volts but was set for 220 - great output after pump was reset for 110 - showed me how to switch it back to 220 after electrician corrects his incorrect panel wiring

Description of Work: Had appointment for today, March 2, and waited all afternoon. Called their office twice to assure someone was coming. Was told I was next and the service person was in Palm Harbor. No one ever called or showed up. It is after 5 now on a Friday and the office is closed. I will use them if they ever show up and give me a price.

Description of Work: Repair of 2 sprinkler heads and test the system. Then I noticed on the next watering day (Saturday) which was a legal day for watering with reclaimed water, the system was not working. Water was just dribbling from the sprinkler heads. On the first business day after noticing the problem, I contacted the contractor. I suggested to them they turned something off and forgot to turn it back on. They came out and said they found nothing wrong. Then I received another invoice for a service call $50. This is unacceptable to me . I will pay both invoices, but will never use their services again.

Response from Charlie's Wells Irrigation
We came out promptly when you stated that your system was not working again. The county has been changing the watering availability on clients in the Palm Harbor area without notice and in your case that was the case. If we had left the system off no water at all would have come out of the system. The water pressure is very low in your area due to no rain. The county has control of the water we do not, maybe you should contact Angie's List about them. When the paperwork came in and I here in the office was entering in the information I must have spelled you name incorrectly and you did not show up as a client so that is why a second service call was charged. But instead of contacting the office and questioning the second charge you decide to slam us on Angie's List. Then I call and ask why you would contact Angie's List instead of contacting us first so we have the opportunity to correct any problems you were not very nice and said I should be more careful. Well we all make mistakes sometimes and I just guess that the member is perfect.

Went as expected.
Description of Work: Repaired broken sprinkler line. Replaced several broken sprinkler heads and reset arc of heads. Two men arrived on time did what was needed in a timely and efficient manner.

I was pleased with the service.
Description of Work: Sprinkling system did not work, called for service, appointment was set for Monday at 2:15 pm, Steve, service rep, called to say that he was on his way, arriving promptly. After testing system it was determined the pump needed to be replaced. Installation was done professionally and quickly, testing revealed one of the stations was not working, Steve tracked wire to where it had been damaged, and replaced it. Each station was tested before he left.

Description of Work: Charlie does an awesome job whether it's sprinklers, wells, or irrigation issues. He is fair and reasonable and does great work. I first had him replace the control panel for my sprinkler system and the second time the heads needed to be replaced and lines cleared. I can't say enough positive things about his company. He should be your first choice, but you may have to wait, he is always busy!
