Charlie's Wells Irrigation

Technician installed a couple with little explanation on how it worked. Was in a rush to move on to next job.

They answered my call right away and set up an appointment for the next day. Unfortunately they came out with a 1 hp pump instead of 1.5 hp pump. I told the person who sets up the appointments that the pump was so old couldn't tell what size pump I had. They only brought out the smaller pump. So they had to come back the next day. Not a huge deal. Job itself was done very well and would have them back to do other work.

They did a great job, We just bought our home that has an older irrigation system, so I was expecting to hear something about updating the controller and replacing a bunch of valves etc. They fixed the main problem in less than 20 mins and then adjusted all the sprinklers and made sure the system was running correct. Very pleased with everything.

They did a great job even though the area they were drilling in contained a layer of crushed shell ... it took them longer than normal but they were able to punch through it and get 4 points in the ground. I now have excellent flow/pressure for my sprinklers

Repaired and up and running. One issue required a call back which was followed up a resolution the very next day.

The well installation failed one day after completion. The pipes were not glued correctly. In addition, my exixting irrigation system is not functioning correctly after on of the installers dicided to merge two zones into one. Someone was out to correct the problem with wells a few days later, but irrigation is still not functioning correctly. At this point I’m not asking for the problem to be fixed. I am engaging some other company.

Charlie Wells guys did a good job of improving water flow to the entire spinkler system by replacing the pressure valve heads. There was a communication issue between the written bill left by the crew on the day of service and the amount bill in the mail. It was more than $100.00 difference. After speaking with the office staff, I understood the issue that happened but I was never informed of the service guys's error in the amount. Yet, CW just billed a new amount without any justification and expected payment. They adjusted my bill to the original amount. I greatly appreciated it.

Arrived on time and completed worked as requested. No attempt to "sell up" or add any addl items. Pleased with the work and will hire again.

Started good very punctual. The Deep well team was very good at their job and performed great together they worked late and ensured the well pump was pulling water from 80 ft. down. The hookup team showed on time but could not get the system to work. The deep well team returned the next day and fixed the issue. Price was fair.

The gentlemen were on time, got right to work, explained how to use the equipment and were done in about 3 hours. Diana who helped us schedule the appointment knew I was in a time crunch. Despite their busy schedule, she squeezed us in before our deadline.

They found a sprinkler line leak in-between sprinklers and fixed it. They also fixed a couple of sprinkler heads. They were fast, on time and the fix has been in place for about 1 1/2 months. Reasonable price.

When I called, Diana gave me several options to check before a team was dispatched to our home, When that did not resolve the problem Duane and James were sent out. The problem required a simple fix and the pump was running again almost immediately. Luckily we decided to check out the irrigation system, too because there were several adjustments and repairs that were in dire need of attention. Duane and James worked very quickly, efficiently, and expertly completing all repairs in a timely manner. From the moment I heard the pleasant, positive voice of Diana, the receptionist to the time when Duane and James left our property, customer service was top notch. We absolutely recommend this organization and have added them on our call list for any future needs.

The usual contractor bait and switch. The man who came to give us an estimate seemed polite and knowledgeable. The people who showed up to do the work had zero skills in this, did a horrible job with no regard to safety (chords and lines running everywhere so we not have trip hazards all over) or aesthetics (again, chords criss crossing the property, coiling and loose eeeeverywhere). They made it very clear that all they wanted was to go home to beat the traffic. Sprinklers are shooting water at wooden fences, at an alleyway, random places that do not need water. Plants that do need water, which we specifically pointed out, have none. The underground lines were not fixed. In an effort to go home ASAP, they accidentally cut through power lines. Just an awful, completely amateurish rush job. Oh, and they presented us with a bill for double the estimate! I just about died laughing. I sent the owner pictures of the "work" and he refused to come out and fix anything. He said it looks "acceptable" and besides, those guys didn't go to college, so what can I really expect? That made no sense at all. Anyway, he decided it wasn't worth it to try to fix the mess because "I don't think I'm able to make you happy." Maybe try? Come back yourself, like you were supposed to? My husband is fixing it all himself now because we just can't be bothered to go through this waste of time again.

The crew quickly identified the problem and it was corrected within an hour. Crew was excellent and acted in a professional manner. They also checked the balance of our system for additional problems but no additional work was required.

Complete installation and operating in 1 day

The technicians showed up on time and were very professional. They found a replaced a few heads/nozzles that were bad and cleaned a few others that were clogged. The system is running great and we're very happy with the service overall.

The two guys seemed in a rush, they didn't give me an estimate or say how much the repair would be. All the one guy said was "Oh she'll send you something in the mail." They were here maybe 15 minutes, and then I get a bill in the mail for $117.00. They didn't give me an appointment time, just a day and they didn't call until late in the afternoon so I wasted my whole day waiting for them. They didn't tell me it was $55 just for the service call on the phone when I scheduled the appointment, and $45 for labor for not even 15 minutes of work. All they did was cap a spicket that was leaking and the parts only cost $17. So $100 for labor and the appointment. No prices or anything until the bill in the mail. They were unprofessional as one of the guys had a cigarette in his hand when he showed up to my front door. Do not use this company.

Two men showed up on time and were very efficient and knowledgeable about the well feed irrigation system. Took the time to answer ALL my questions and explained how the system worked. They replaced 4-1" valves, 2-rotors, 12-fittings, 1 slip fix, and 1-pop-up. I would without question call Charlie's for any irrigation problem. Thanks guys, Faye McConnell

Great job!! Tony called ahead and said he was on his way, which I really appreciated. Then he arrived and got to work. It was a pretty big job, but he put in the new box first, and then patiently explained to me how to work it. Next, he surveyed the whole system, identifying and replacing sprinklers that weren't working, etc. He also found that some of our stations were misfiring....watering at times when other stations were supposed to be running, etc....this indicated we had gauge issues as well. Tony ended up replacing all 6 of our gauges on this visit. He also came back to clean up the unsightly wiring tangles that come out of the gauge set up. He really cared about the work!! I feel really good about the whole system now. Charlie's Wells put it back into good working order and the lawn looks awesome. This is a great outfit: from the lady who answers the phone, to the fact that they run multiple crews. Lots of other irrigation outfits are sole owner operators, and that is fine, but Charlie's Wells can often get to your job sooner because they have more staff. We learned this the hard way as our lawn went dead due to sprinkler system issues 4 months ago when we were out of town! I called the firm I had previously been using and they couldn't get to us for weeks!! Charlie's Wells scheduled immediately.

I love them for their honesty. My leak was coming up through my driveway, which made it seem like they'd need to demolish and re-pour my driveway to correct the issue. They came out and capped the line instead, and re-routed an existing sprinkler. They could've really taken me for a VERY costly ride, but instead saved me thousands of dollars. They're great. Very professional and very honest. This situation really went a long way in solidifying their level integrity in my mind.
