Charlie's Wells Irrigation

VERY prompt and honest. Originally wanted him to move two sprinklers but after a thorough investigation informed us that one only needed to be capped as we had enough coverage. He could have done the work that wasn't needed and charge us much more. A bit costly for what we had done but I understand they have a minimum requirement.

Fantastic. Bob and Tad quickly went to work after recommending sprinkler changes. New sprinklers were installed and area policed in record time. All sprinklers on the zone were rechecked. Great job as usual.

It was a pleasant experience. The workers were very nice. They came out when I called them and were very prompt at getting there. They cleaned up after themselves.

Bob and his helper showed up on time @ 8:30AM. They went to the back yard and I explained my problem. They both began to work, digging up the two areas. They fixed the underground leak almost immediately, and had a new sprinkler head working shortly after. The flex hose was fixable, but I had another underground leak in the system causing no pressure in the zone. They found the 2nd underground leak and additionally cleaned up another four sprinklers, replacing the cement donut after cleaning up the area. They tested ALL 4 zones to insure I had no other problem. Total time for the work was 3/4 of an hour. I was very impressed with both Bob and his helper. The most impressive thing was when finished, I went outside, Bob told me what they had done. When I asked how much do I owe you, he said; the office will send you a bill, we want to make sure you are totally satisfied with our work. Who does that today? These guy's are awesome!

Fantastic-showed up at the scheduled time for the initial inspection, came the next available work day to do the work. The crew forgot to remove the old pipes, and when I called, I asked if they could also haul off some very(ie 12 feet)long wooden headers that used to hold up drapes-they said no problem-what service!!

Could not have asked for better service.

The company was responsive to my needs. The service men arrived on schedule, completed the work promptly, cleaned up after themselves and behaved professionally. I am very pleased.

They came up to look at my pump that wasn't working. Determined it wasn't the pump and gave me a prices for a new shallow well and also new pump. I asked them to wait 2 months for the work to be done. When they were finished, they inspected the sprinklers to make sure they were working correctly. From start to finish, I was very satisfied.

Services would good, lawn after the work was put back in good shape including sod removed. System has been working well since.

I came home when they were almost done. My son told me they had been there for about 15 minutes before I arrived. They said all the heads needed to be replaced, which could be true however, heads are cheap. They told me they would send me the bill. I thought it was pretty high for changing sprinkler heads. The real turn off for me was when we were discussing the patch of grass that had turned brown during the time the system wasn't working right. I asked if it would come back once it got watered again. The guy told me that it would not but he had a business on the side and that they could do it for me at a great price. Keep in mind that this was a small area needing one or maybe two pallets. He told me I needed 16 pallets and that it would cost around $1600.00. His partner was out of earshot. When I questioned the amount of pallets he yelled to him "hey how many pallets you think it would take to fix this brown area"? The guy responded "oh I don't know...three maybe four" Apparently they hadn't rehearsed very well. First guy says "what are you kidding!? Three or four!? Then the other guy caught on and said " well it's hard for me to tell, you are better at that". By the way, most of the grass came back. I received a message from their company some time later with a very condescending tone asking for payment but I had not received a bill! When I called them back to tell them I had not received it, they said they had sent it but would send another still in a nasty tone. They called again after I had sent it in and said they never received payment. I told them I had sent it in and then they insisted I give them a credit card number. I refused and told them I would check with my bank and if it hadn't cleared I would stop payment and send another. I didn't hear back from them again and the check did clear more than two weeks after it was sent in.

This is my second experience with Charlie's Wells and it was a good as the first. Charlie's installed my sprinkler system which is connected to my well. They were punctual, courteous and very helpful. They even checked my sprinkler heads and cleaned out a couple that we clogged with no extra charge.

My experience was excellent, the price was fair and they answered phone calls quickly.

They come when you call and their employees are very pleasant. We have been using them for about ten years. This last time they did not do something correctly, so I called them back they came out immediately and corrected the problem without charging me. I would recommend them because I think they are a wonderful company.

It went very well. They were here when they said they would be here, they finished up really quickly because they sent three people and it was all over in less than an hour.

At first they thought I needed new wells. Then Charlie came out and said i had plenty of water. We decided to change the pump motor. I will probably have them come back. The work they did was fine.

Good work. Had to return a second time to re-repair.

When my pump died a few days after the company was there to check everything out, I was a little wary, especially since I wasn't home and did everything over the phone. When I later came home and saw how bad the pump was and have now seen how well everything works with the new pump, I no longer doubted if it was needed. In addition, the day I noticed the system wasn't working was my sprinkling day and it had been very dry. I called and they came out that day to fix the system so that I could water my yard.

Very professional and did a great job. The only negative is that they were a bit pricy. I identified a couple other heads that needed replacement this weekend. Went to Home Depot for the parts and they were about 40% cheaper than what I paid during my service call (on top of the labor). That said...I would use them again if it was something a bit more "expertise" related or if I win the Florida lottery.

I would use them in the future. The quality of their work was good. I would recommend them. They were courteous and kind. They were professional while they were working. They cleaned up after themselves.

The guys from Charlie's were professional, quick, and friendly. They took care of the problem quickly and with no hassle. Base service fee seems unnecessary, but service was very good. Thanks!

Another company told me that I needed to replace my entire sprinkler pump for $800! Charlie's gave me a quote over the phone for $500. I scheduled them right away- when they came out, they discovered that my pump did NOT need to be replaced, just repaired. I am so thankful for their honesty- it saved me hundreds of dollars. They are quick, reliable, and reasonably price. I highly recommend this company.

After an original consultation about adding a few heads, he suggested that I revamp this system. I was OK with this because the existing system wasn't very good, but I wondered if this was a standard tactic. They waived the service charge and said it would be $400-$500, "not more than $600 or $700" and he'd charge parts and time. It took an hour longer than expected (4 instead of the estimated 3) but he told me that it was easier than he expected, due to high pressure in existing lines, so he'd knock $100 off the bill. When the bill arrived, it was purely parts and labor, plus a $50 service call, and came to $885. I called to complain and they eventually lowered it to $735 which is still more than their worst-case estimate, not to mention that the job was "easier than expected." They also cut my (unmarked, buried) cable line, but I could've marked it beforehand. The end result looks good (so far) and the irrigation coverage is very good. I was told that they warranty the work for 1 year and the parts for 2 years. I would just be wary of the estimate and would suggest getting a written and fixed price for the job rather than an oral agreement to pay for parts and labor.

They did a good job and price was reasonable.

They were nice, did the work, and it was a satisfactory experience.
