We looked for a home inspector on Angie's List and saw all the wonderful reviews for Bay Home Inspection. We called and scheduled them to inspect the house we are buying. I saw first hand why they have almost 400 A reviews on AL. Very courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. Michael and his wife were prompt and friendly. They did their inspection and afterwards talked to us about the main things they found. We received their final inspection report in a very timely manner and it was very detailed. We have used other inspectors on other houses we've bought, and Bay Home Inspection is the best we've ever used. The listing agent commented that in her 20 years in Tampa Bay real estate, this was the most thorough and detailed inspection she's ever seen. We feel confident buying this house knowing the real conditions of this house and it's systems.

Mr. Bender did such an exceptional job in the inspection of the property. There was no stone left upturned that needed to be checked. The report he compiled was very well detailed. He reported it in such a speedy manner and went the extra mile to even ensure the report was sent in and expedited beyond the usual review time frame. It is very rare to encounter a tradesman that is a master in their field. Michael Bender is truly a master home inspector. Michael and his lovely wife and inspector partner, leave absolutely no stone unturned. Not only do they discover costly problems and repairs, but also what most folks would consider insignificant. It’s the attention to detail and uncovering minute issues which makes Michael a cut above the rest. I would compare Michael Bender to a Benjamin Franklin or a Nikola Tesla; he just seems to know how everything works. His depth of understanding uniquely qualifies him to be the person for the smallest condo, to a mega mansion. I trust Michael and his team, because the two times that I have seen his work I have been blown away. In other words, he has earned my trust. The only drawback I see is he is so sought after, it may take a few days in order to acquire his services. But it is COMPLETELY worth the wait! I will continue to tell my family and friends just how good this guy is because I want them to experience his brilliance.

Michael did a thorough job on the home inspection of the home I wanted to buy. He brought to light many hidden problems that could have been very expensive if they had not been pointed out. He gave suggestions on many different things, which helped us out tremendously. I ended up having to walk away from the home I wanted to buy because it didn't appraise high enough. This is my 5th home- so i'm familiar with the home inspection process. Michael Bender is the most professional, thorough and honest inspector with whom I have dealt. He arrived early, got to work right away and provided a thorough walk through at the end of the 3.5 hours that he and his associate Jen spent at the home. They detailed every finding they would list on the inspection as they walked me around the interior of the home. Jen has a keen eye for detail and misses nothing! I feel reassured that Michael has provided me a quality review of all aspects of this home prior to the final day of closing. WOW......I can't thank Bay Area Home Inspections enough! Their attentiveness to details and due diligence save me from buying a flip house that looked brand new on the surface. The inspection proved something totally different. The inspection showed faulty electrical work, leaks and rodent infestation. Bay Area Home Inspection saved me from buying a money pit.

This was the second time I have asked Michael and Jen (Bay Home Inspections LLC) to conduct a home inspection. As in the first inspection, they exceeded all expectations with a through and professional job. Their manner is relaxed and personable. They inspected the entire house plus a seawall and dock. The inspection lasted about three hours. At the end, both Michael and Jen walked me through the house as they identified the discrepancies that would be placed in the report. This walk through followed by the written report, reinforces the inspection variances. Outstanding and professional!

When my wife first checked Angie's list, she came up w/three company names for me to call however she told me to call Bay Home Inspections, LLC first because of the great review. I did call and spoke w/Mr. Bender first and called no further. Mr. and Mrs. Bender were at the home on time and I was not disappointed. He explained what they were doing and I had a full report with pictures by the end of the day. I will recommend them to anyone who ask and would use again if ever needed.

What a pleasure we had with Bay Home Inspections LLC. Mr. Bender and his wife are everything and more of what you would expect in a home inspector. They do a thorough inspection, identified a lot of issues and then suggested solutions for them. We scheduled our last-minute appointment during a weekend and they replied immediately. During the inspection, we forgot to schedule a terminate inspection as well, and Mr. Bender and his wife provided us with a referral, who came to house in less than 1 hour. Because our deadline was approaching, Bay Home Inspections LLC provided a timely (next day) and detailed report. They are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do and recommend them if you want peace of mind to make a decision on buying your home. Michael and his wife (Jan) exceeded all of my expectations! They are the best home inspectors I have ever encountered. They are punctual, professional and organized. His easy-going demeanor gives him the unique ability to explain difficult details in a simple and informative manner. In observing their inspection techniques, it is obvious to see they are the consummate professionals, with attention to detail as the cornerstone. His wife does the interior house inspection checking every appliance and electrical outlet for operational functionality, accuracy and safety. She also does the attic inspection citing problem areas (electrical, insulation, roof interior, and AC ducting). Michael inspects the exterior including the seawall, dock, davits and lifts, if requested. They were always available to answer questions; this includes before, during and after the inspection. At the end of the inspection, Michael and Jan give me a walk through inspection identifying and explaining the deficiencies encountered and possible remedies. I highly recommend them without any reservation or hesitation.

Excellent! Michael and his wife were very thorough. My Realtor was impressed with their detailed work and is planning on recommending them to all clients. He was able to save us from buying a money pit, so I used him again for a 2nd inspection. He was always able to fit me in ASAP. Originally when I first called him for my 1st inspection (I had 3 Homes inspected and Michael did my 2nd and 3rd!) He went out of his way to look things up about the house and does great work! He will save the Home Buyer a lot of money but letting you know every detail!
