Bay Home Inspections (the dynamic duo of Michael and Jen) truly represent some of the most caring, professional and knowledgeable people I have ever done business with. They took a full day to do a top to bottom inspection of a hundred-yyear-old house we were close to purchasing. In addition to the normal things inspectors look for, they have developed their own custom processes, all in the interest of giving you as much information as is possible. They are very patient with questions, are timely with follow through and getting you a report, and are worth every penny we paid (and more). In fact, things went so well, we had them do another inspection on an investment property just a few weeks after this one (of course, it also went very well). My only regret is that they don't do construction - I wish they could build my next house, I would be sure it was built to the highest standards with pride! Thanks again Michael and Jen!! :)

Michael was very prompt retuning my call to setup the appointment for the inspection. He was flexible and had appointments available within the week. I had to work with multiple parties to confirm a date and time for the inspection and Michael was very responsive throughout the process working with all parties to get the inspection scheduled and confirmed. Michael and Jennfierlynn arrived promptly (actually early) the day of the inspection. I was OVERWHELMINGLY impressed by how thorough they both were during the inspection even making sure that I was aware of even the minute details (e.g., down to a hairline crack in the drywall). I felt very comfortable after meeting both Michael and Jenniferlynn the day of the inspection that they both had put themselves in my shoes and treated the inspection as if it was the inspection of their very own house they were looking to buy. Michael and Jenniferlynn promised an inspection report within two business days and far exceeded that expectation by working diligently through the evening and delivering the final report at 10:30 pm the night of the inspection as Michael wanted to ensure that we had sufficient time to review the findings, ask questions, and respond appropriately to the sellers before the expiration of our inspection period. I can't say enough good things about these folks and would absolutely recommend them to anyone seeking these types of services. Thank you again Michael and Jenniferlynn. I am very thankful to have found Bay Home Inspections LLC as they provided me with outstanding customer service and did a masterful job at unearthing the important information I needed to make an informed home purchase decision. I couldn't be happier with my experience. I used them twice over the course of a month and both times they were incredibly helpful and focused on making sure each of the two homes were thoroughly inspected. They discovered many issues in both the attic and crawlspace of the initial property I planned on purchasing. They also discovered a host of other issues, such as a back door that was installed improperly, bathroom fixtures that were installed incorrectly and improperly rigged light switches. There were other issues as well. All of what they discovered helped me to make what I feel was a very wise decision to pull out of the deal and not purchase. The actual report they sent me by way of email was very easy to read and understand and worded in laymen terms, which really helped in fully understanding the extent of the issues. I then hired them a second time to inspect another property and they did a fantastic job again. They arrived early and worked diligently throughout the later half of the afternoon. They carefully explained what they found and took great care in making sure I understood. Lots of eye contact throughout as they were talking to me. As with the first inspection, their report was delivered promptly and covered all the proverbial bases, with an easy to read ledger and detailed description of each issue along with a summary. I can't recommend this company strongly enough and feel so thankful that I was able to secure their service for my home inspection needs. We were looking for our new home and once the first home accepted our offer, we hired bay Home Inspectors to perform a home inspection ($345.) They were so thorough in the inspection and did such an amazing job of explaining everything to us as we are first time home buyers. They were very honest with us about all of their findings. Because of this, we actually did no go any further with that home - they saved us from a very bug money pit. We then had an offer accepted on another house and, of course, hired Bay Home Inspectors again because of the fantastic job they did the first time. It was as much of a pleasure to work with them as it was the first time. However, the same thing happened and we did not go through with it because of multiple issues with the home that would have been incredibly expensive to fix. We hired them a third time after finding another home that we were interested in. At this point, we were so confident in their work that we did not want to go with another inspector. However, we only had 9 days to get the inspection done and cancel for any reason and Bay Home Inspectors were fully booked through that time. Michael said he would do what he could and he was able to move around some appointments and got us in on time! They were amazing yet again and we are about to close on the home in a few days! Their detailed report made it a lot easier to take care of the things that did need to be taken care of prior to moving in. They are truly amazing people to work with and they definitely know their stuff!

We hired Bay Home Inspections to inspect a house that we are in the process of purchasing. My realtor recommend Michael Bender and I was glad I scheduled our inspection through Bay Home Inspections. The inspection report was detailed with pictures and Michael and Jennifer went through everything with us after the inspection on the property. During the walk through they showed us the concerns, their recommendations and/or remedies and things we need to keep on eye on during future maintenance on the house. Since this is our first home, I appreciate the time that was put in during the walk through. Our report was promised within 48 hours and our full report was provided the same day as in the inspection. They are also transparent with their fees so there is no surprises. I would recommend Bay Home Inspections and use them in the future. .

After searching Angie's list for weeks, reading through ALL the reviews of other Home Inspection providers, I decided to hire Bay Home Inspections services. It was one of the best decisions I made since beginning my home search! The day of the inspection I was 10 minutes late, true to the other reviews for Bay Home Inspection, Mike and his team was already there scoping out the property. He immediately greeted us and once again explained what to expect during the home inspection. Mike and Jenn proceeded with the home inspection with professionalism, personalization and expertise. They worked meticulously throughout the inspection, but they did pause from time to time to provide us with information on what they were doing and their findings. The house is a short sale, so it was not in the cleanest or most well-kept condition. They did not hesitate to dig through the overgrown landscape, internal rubbish or whatever was needed to find the source(s) needed to properly inspect the property. The water pressure was low coming into the house, so they took a look at the well on the property in effort to adequately test the inside plumbing. Many other companies, would have just noted - low water pressure and moved on- not Bay Home Inspection, they not only found the issue of the low water pressure, but explained their finding and possible fixes. Jenn, was delightful and even attempted to ease my obvious tension when learning of issues with the house by inserting a little humor- which at the time was much needed. This company truly left no stone unturned- literally! They pulled through weeds, identified areas near the home where animals had made burrows, climbed / walked the roof (there was no standing on the ground looking through binoculars to evaluate the conditions), noted excessive spaces in exterior doors, previous ceiling leakage, burnt out circuit outlets, improper stove and vent connections, cracked bathroom tile, inadequate caulking, issues with the air condition and the list goes on! They clearly identified and provided quick fix solutions where applicable and raised a sense of alert when additional certified expertise should be called in. I can?t say enough of about the outstanding knowledge and service that was provided! My initial plan was to have two home inspections by different companies to ensure my comfort level with my purchase. Needless to say, this is no longer needed. The entire home inspection took over 5 hours, and provided me with a comfort level that every inch of home was inspected. If you are looking for sense of peace with a home purchase, this is the company you want to hire! Bay Home Inspection Company doesn?t just provide Home Inspection services, they provide a peace of mind. Michael and Jan came and spent over 4 hours inspecting my new home a few weeks before closing Being a female who doesn't know much about construction, I was concerned that I wouldn't know what to look for during closing. I was actually surprised at how many deficits they found that needed fixing. For example, the builder forgot to seal around my bathroom sinks, left nails sticking up in the roof and did not caulk around some windows. I was so impressed with their thorough inspection and their very comprehensive report with pictures. I would highly recommend this company to anyone moving into a new construction home. I'm even thinking of having them come out again to reinspect to ensure all the deficits were taken care of before my year warranty is up.

Wow! Nothing less than outstanding. I don't write long reviews, so I'll get right to the point. Truly professional all of the way. Prompt/courteous/professional/knowledgeable. They thoroughly checked ALL aspects of the house. All details were fully documented and well explained at the end. Not only did they provide full details but they also provide hints on how to insure the house is kept maintained in the future. If I ever have to have another house inspected these are the guys I would choose--I wouldn't even consider anybody else.

Michael and his wife were extremely thorough and professional. They were happy to explain any issues they found in detail and advised on how to properly fix the issues. They were also very personable and easy to talk to. I felt like they really took their time and we were their top priority during the inspection. They also had the report out within 4 hours of the inspection ending. I was extremely impressed with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of an inspection.

Michael and his team did a fantastic job. They were early to the appointment, did a thorough job, provided the report before end of day, and charged fairly for the services. He even performed a Wind Mit inspection but did not charge me for it unless I/my insurance company needed it. When I did decide to ask for the Wind Mit report, he charged me a portion of the fee since it did not require a return visit. He also turned this report around within the day. His services are timely, professional, fair and equitable. I would definitely call Michael again for a home inspection. Great work!

Michael and his wife did an excellent job on the inspection of a new construction property. I was surprised to see how much is actually overlooked, not fully completed or just plain forgotten in a new construction home. The work was on point and very thorough. In this instance, I needed a report that would ensure for build completeness of the property purchased and that's exactly what I received. The Builder Manager was able to correct many of the identified flaws using the home inspection report. The home errors were clearly presented, pictures were clear and visible and the flow of the deliverable easy to follow. I would definitely use Bay Home Inspections LLC again on my next purchase.

WOW!!!! Michael and Jen were TOP NOTCH. I knew from all the A reviews and our brief phone conversation that this company obviously knew their stuff. Excellent communication prior to and after our appointment. They had shown up early which was great for us because we ourselves were early. Very professional and detail oriented. They went over every single thing not only explaining what the problem was, but how to fix it. Michael rushed the inspection report via email due to my son not being able to attend the day they did the inspection. Not only did the report have pictures, but a detailed explanation of the issues and again recommendations on repairs. They left no stone uncovered, literally! Being this is our 22 yr olds first home, and had been in poor shape prior to being poorly rehabbed, we were extremely nervous. Both Michael and Jen gave us peace of mind the second we shook hands with them. We will use them again should any future purchases be made and happily pass their number on to anyone in need of a home inspection. I would not feel comfortable with anyone else but Michael and Jen ! THE BEST!!!!

Mr. Bender and his associate were candid and provided us with detailed problems with the house we were about to buy. Unfortunately, there were a myriad of problems with the house and we did not purchase it. Mr. Bender saved us aggravation and money. We sincerely appreciated his expertise I would highly recommend him.

I need to have a 4-Point inspection done for my home insurance policy, and I called and spoke with Michael. I cannot tell you how calling him made me feel at ease. He not only answered my questions about inspections, but freely gave insight and recommendations for me. He offered to continue to answer questions for me through the process, even if I didn't hire him. He made it very clear that his customers are his top priority. Due to the timeframe of my inspection needs he most likely won't be available on his schedule to help me with the actual inspection, but he gave a recommendation of another company that follows his high level of standards, which gave me peace of mind. Michael offered to help look up my house permits, which he did over his lunch break simply to help me out. I would not hesitate to hire Michael in an instant. His level of professionalism is very high, even referring to me once he knew my name as "Mr Wright". It is clear as to why he is an "A" listed company - you can tell it's not about 'business as usual', but he makes it personal and it is obvious that Michael cares about real people in the way he worked with me today. Very impressed!

This is the second inspection performed for us by Michael and Jen. The first home purchase fell through, and we immediately called them when our offer was accepted on a different home. Again, they did an amazing job! By far the best home inspections we've ever had. They are meticulous in their work, and they are extremely knowledgeable. Jen again did the interior and attic space of the home, and Michael did the exterior. They don't miss a single thing. And again, they provided information about the home and gave advice on future maintenance and tips on how to maintain the home in great condition. They go over the findings on the spot, and send the actual published report later in the evening, in digital format. Honestly, I don't know why anyone would use any other company - Bay Home Inspections is the best!!!

Right from the start, I could tell Michael was dedicated to providing quality service. I quickly noticed he paid attention to every detail, which is what you want in a home inspector. He was quick to respond and did research on the home to get the more details about it I did not know. On inspection day, I was there 5+ hours with him and his partner. They showed up 30 minutes early and had already begun inspecting. They were very considerate to stop and show me what they were doing so that I could learn and be aware of their observations. For them to spend 5+ hours on a 1256sq ft home, means a lot to their dedication and detail orientation. I was impressed how knowledgable they were as a team and I left feeling confident in my knowledge of this old house. I will definitely go to Michael again if the opportunity comes up.

Michael came and did a thorough inspection of my home. He spent a couple hours looking over the house and I don't have a large home. Afterward he reviewed the most important aspects and repair needs. The report arrived in my inbox the same evening with a lot of detail and clearly defined level of concern for each problem noted.
