Mike was responsive from our initial contact. I explained to him my issue and he provided me with a quote on the spot (over the phone). From there we scheduled a mutually agreed upon time. On the morning of our appointment I was contacted about 30min prior to his arrival letting me know he was on his way. Upon arrival Mike was extremely friendly and professional. He explained the steps and timing of each to get the job done. He was efficient and ensured that the work area was left clean and tidy upon his completion. I will be adding Viv’s Vent Cleaning to my standard preventive maintenance for my home and have marked my calendar to contact him again in a year. Called quickly, found and corrected the actual issue that was causing an issue with our new dryer. Fixed the vents so they dryer now works fine.

Mike came to clean out our dryer vent hose on 1/25/18. We have a new stacked washer and dryer; when he slid the dryer down, he gouged the front of the washer door. Afterwards, I called him about fixing the damage several times, supplying him with the model and phone number of the manufacturer. Each time I called to check on his progress he told me he thought that I was taking care of it. I told him he needed to repair the damage that he caused. He ended up telling me that the manufacturer didn't know the color of the paint, which I frankly find hard to believe. Also, in the meantime, while doing laundry one day, I closed the door to the laundry room which I normally leave open, and after a load was done, I opened the door and it felt like a sauna. I called Mike to let him know there is still a venting problem and on 6/15/18 he comes out to fix the disconnected vent hose. This however did not fix the problem, as the dryer continued to create a sauna in the laundry room. So I called Mike once again and he said he would come out on 7/10/18. A couple of days before this appointment he called me to say he wasn't coming out and was done with this project. So, I called a professional dryer vent company and when they got here they quickly found the problem that not only was the vent hose not attached, it was sliced wide open. Further, the professional dryer vent representative diagnosed that the vent hose mount in the wall behind the dryer did not connect to the ductwork within the wall and to the outside of my house. Thus, no venting was actually occurring at all. They corrected the issue in short amount of time and minimal fuss. I think Mike should have diagnosed this issue in the first place but as a result, he only cleaned 3 feet of hose instead of 33 feet of internal ductwork to the outside of the house. And then he ignored my further requests for help.

I can't really know about the quality. I am not sure what to look for that tells me there is a difference. The person cleaning out the vent was very friendly and pleasant. He did the job in 10 minutes but we were expecng it to take 30 to 40 minutes.
